Hey everyone! I run a D&D community called Session Zero. We’ve had incredible growth over the last few days with so many amazing new faces joining us, and we are looking to expand our tables! Our main goal is simple: create a relaxed, welcoming space where people from all over can get together and just enjoy playing D&D. What to expect Players Welcome: We have campaigns spinning up all the time. We have games spanning multiple timezones, so if you want to play, there is a seat waiting for you! No more scrolling through Forums for a table! We don't charge anything. Everything is free. Always. Calling DMs: Our demand for games is growing more and more. You won't have an issue finding players to fill them seats! Want to run a game? Then you're more than welcome to host here! With everything in house, no more hunting for players. We make you dedicated campaign channels, DMs sharing tons of resources they've built up and we can help anyway we can! While we are thrilled with our active player base, we are on the hunt for EU based DMs to help run some games. We have a few EU campaigns starting up, but getting more rolling is our top priority! (And of course, we are still welcoming DMs from outside the EU as well!) DM Perks: I have a large DnDBeyond book selection I share with DMs running games in here. Fully free! The Vibe: Whether you're a longstanding DM looking to find a new group of players to take on a magical adventure, or perhaps wanting to get into the DM chair for the first time but need some support, you will be more than welcome. We’re just starting our journey, and we have big plans for the tavern. Here is what we are building toward: A Thriving Multi-System Board: Growing an active roster of DMs running everything from D&D 5e and Pathfinder to indie narrative games and horror systems. Community One-Shot Nights: Hosting regular server-wide one-shot events so players can easily drop in and try new games. A Safe, Active Home: Keeping this tavern permanently free of scammer DMs, predatory pay-to-play traps, and toxic noise.

Deck n Roll is a tabletop roleplaying game community based in Fareham and the surrounding area, Hampshire, UK. We run regular sessions at a local community centre and library, and our focus is on making TTRPGs as accessible as possible, particularly for people who have never played before or who don't have an established group to join. As well as running games, we maintain a lending library of miniatures, maps, and pre-written adventures, so players can get involved without needing to invest heavily upfront. Chronicled is currently in active development, so features discussed or shown in screenshots may change. Chronicled takes a world you describe once, genre, tone, factions, whatever you've already got, and generates NPCs, enemies, items, faction lore, and portraits that actually sound like they belong to that world specifically. Everything comes with matching portrait art and gets filed automatically into a searchable archive, so fifty entries later it still reads like one consistent world instead of a pile of scattered notes. Inspired by legendary settings such as Firefly, Westworld, Borderlands, Trigun or Cowboy Bebop, Deep Sky Ballad is a space western ttrpg where the characters play the members of a Posse - fortune seekers more or less tightly bound to each other who share their resources and a spaceship in search of purpose or wealth. Description The game mechanics are based on the Blackjack System, a poker cards based system; it's the same rules system Arcana Familia ttrpg use, and give agency to the player to balance the power and accuracy of an action through what can be considered a subgame. /images/general-media/1776361953_pusoqZrn.jpg The peculiar solving mechanics of Deep Sky Ballad, the Blackjack System is essentially reduced to a very rapid game of the homonymous card game; a number of cards are drawn and revealed from a deck of poker cards, which are then increased or discarded based on the attributes and skills of the character, in order to bring the sum of their value between a number established by the difficulty of the challenge and 21. This system has been designed to be quick and simple but still guarantee the player maximum control over the test itself, and to distinguish between the possibility and the control possessed by the character. In addition to the Blackjack System, there are an innovative spaceships combat system and the Hardboiled System. The first is a simple, agile and fast mechanic involving all the players; the Hardboiled System, instead, is a system of abilities possessed by the character determined by the interaction that he possesses with his fellow Posse, in order to create dramatic and cinematic scenes such as those presented by the TV series from which Deep Sky Ballad is inspired. Even the starship itself owned by the Posse can be defined as a separate character, even if driven by all players. With its own sheet that defines its characteristics, it can be modified according to the needs of the group in every aspect.
