MageApp

Updates & news

Hello everyone! We're excited to share that MageApp has officially entered Closed Beta! After months of development, we're opening the doors to our new Mage: The Ascension character creator and companion app. MageApp supports both Mage: The Ascension 20th Anniversary Edition (M20) and Revised, with dedicated character creation systems for each edition. Rules, terminology, Backgrounds, Merits, Flaws, societies, and advancement are all handled according to your selected edition. Hello everyone! We've introduced Click-to-Roll to MageApp, making it easier to prepare and roll dice directly from your character sheet without having to rebuild common dice pools manually. The system supports both M20 and Revised, taking edition-specific mechanics into account when preparing your rolls. You can now prepare rolls involving Attributes, Abilities, Arete, Spheres, Rotes, Willpower, and Quintessence, along with more specialized mechanics such as extended rituals, Paradox Backlash, and basic Countermagick. We've also integrated 3D dice directly into character sheets! Once your pool is ready, you can roll without leaving the sheet. The animation uses the final dice pool, including accepted modifiers and the relevant edition rules. This is part of our ongoing work to make MageApp more useful during actual gameplay, not just character creation. Character illustrations
Hi! My name is Cheto See, and I’m a Concept Artist/Illustrator. I make artwork for TTRPG Sourcebooks and even more fun, commissions of players’ characters. My specialty is designing characters, and helping people visually build their characters, sometimes in ways they couldn’t even imagine. I have a background in costume design, I continuously research historical clothing and equipment, and supernatural lore from many different cultures, and I even practice historical archery, and have dabbled in HEMA. When it comes to visually building fantasy characters, I know my stuff! /images/general-media/1779283367_8UhQmszY.jpg I can draw: - Full Body Character Artwork (with a plain background) - Half Body Character Artwork (with a simple background) - Character Reference Sheets (with Front and Back views and costume and prop callouts) - Even simple colored sketches just to help you visualize your character!
