Saga20

Never lose track of your epic tabletop gaming moments again

Overview

Saga20 is the campaign tool that keeps up with your table. It is a full world builder, a campaign wiki, a session summarizer, a character sheet system and a shared player portal, and all of it runs off one action: hit record. Play the session, upload the audio, and Saga20 works out who spoke, writes the recap, and pushes what happened into every world page it touched. Characters, locations, factions and items each keep their own page, their own timeline, and a link back to the session where it happened. Most world builders need you to update them. This one updates itself. It works for every TTRPG system, from
D&D https://groupfinder.gg/library/dungeons-dragons-5e-2014
across all editions to
Pathfinder 1e https://groupfinder.gg/library/pathfinder-2009
and
2e https://groupfinder.gg/library/pathfinder-2nd-edition-2019
,
Call of Cthulhu https://groupfinder.gg/library/call-of-cthulhu-2014
,
Cyberpunk RED https://groupfinder.gg/library/cyberpunk-red-2020
and
Vampire: The Masquerade https://groupfinder.gg/library/vampire-the-masquerade-5e-2018
, with character sheets built into the app. The app is quickly growing in popularity and is already being used and trusted by thousands of GMs.

Description

Every campaign wiki dies the same death. Immaculate for four sessions, then the group plays a long night, nobody writes it up, and a month later the wiki describes a campaign that no longer exists. Saga20 fixes that at the source. The session is the input, and the world updates because you played, not because you did homework afterwards. Underneath the automation is a proper world builder. Characters, NPCs, locations, factions, items, deities, starships, corporations, clues, house rules: anything in the campaign gets a real page, with rich text, images, custom icons and cover art, organized into folders and templates and custom entity types for whatever the world needs. Search reaches every page instantly. A campaign graph draws who knows whom. Interactive maps carry routes, regions, pins and the party's current position. Build it all by hand if that is the fun part, or you can import an existing world across from
Obsidian https://groupfinder.gg/library/obsidian
, Notion, Google Docs or
World Anvil https://groupfinder.gg/library/world-anvil
and carry on from there. You can then upload session recordings to automatically update your world wiki. Anyone at the table can record, on a phone, a dedicated mic, Discord or Zoom, and nobody else has to install anything. Saga20 generates the Session Notes including choices, clues, quests and consequences that happened during the session then automatically updates the world pages so you'll always have an up to date wiki without having to spend hours after every session.  It is not only the GM's tool but a tool for the entire table. Players can read the campaign and session notes without an account, or choose to claim their own characters, keep their character sheets on the same page as the story, and arrive at the next session actually remembering the last one. The wiki can be themed to match the setting and published on its own link. Prep, play, notes and the whole table, in one place.

Key features

A Proper World Builder

Everything in the setting gets a real page. Characters, NPCs, locations, factions and items to start, then whatever else the campaign calls for, because the entity types are yours to define: deities, corporations, starships, clues, house rules. Pages take rich text, images, custom icons and cover art, and sit in folders and templates you control. Search reaches the whole campaign instantly. It stands up as a worldbuilding tool on its own, and it also happens to be what every session writes into.

The Wiki That Writes Itself

When a character, location, faction or item matters during a session, Saga20 adds that event to the right page as dated timeline history and links it back to the recap it came from. The tavern keeper the party robbed gains a line about it without anyone opening a document. Every entry stays editable, and any of them can be removed. This is the part that keeps a twenty session campaign coherent instead of archaeological.

Session Notes and the Campaign Journal

Summaries are written as story, and every one is generated with the full world context so names, places and callbacks stay accurate. Characters and locations in the recap link straight to their wiki pages. Alongside it, the Campaign Journal keeps a live read on where things stand: which quests are active, which have gone dormant, and which threads are still unresolved. Quick Edit fixes a name or expands a scene before players see any of it.

The Campaign Graph and Campaign Chat

Mention any person, place or faction inside the wiki and Saga20 records the connection, then draws the campaign graph so a GM can see who knows whom and why it matters. Session events add connections too, and the graph filters down when the world gets busy. Campaign Chat handles the questions that surface mid-prep: who made that promise, where the party left the relic, which threads are still open. It searches summaries and transcripts, with world context keeping the answer tied to the campaign actually played.

Interactive Maps

World, region and battle maps can be uploaded and marked up directly. Draw routes, regions and labels, pin the characters and places that matter, and move the party marker as the campaign travels. Map markers link through to their pages in the wiki, so a pin on a fortress opens the fortress.

A Wiki the Whole Table Uses

Each campaign wiki can be themed to match the setting, with custom colors, fonts and background, then published on its own campaign subdomain at saga20.world. Players claim their own character, add their art, write their own descriptions, and follow a personal history that grows as the campaign does, while DM-only sections keep secrets out of view. Character sheets for D&D 5e and Pathfinder 2e live on the same page as the story, covering stats, abilities, combat, spells, gear and conditions.

Imports, API Access and Discord

Campaigns that already exist can move in. Saga20 imports Markdown, Word and PDF files or a whole folder, with support for notes coming from Obsidian, Notion, Google Docs and World Anvil, and every imported page is reviewable before it joins the world. Finished recaps publish straight to a chosen Discord channel as a formatted message, and editing the recap later can update the Discord message too. An API exposes public sessions, recaps and world data for groups running their own tools.

You ever start a Game of Thrones review podcast and then decide that actually you’d much rather push “publish” on your home TTRPG game instead? No? Just us? Well. We are a strange bunch, it has to be said. We’re a group of good friends, who are sometimes a tad irreverent, all with a passion for storytelling and adventure. After discovering the amazing way that storytelling could come to life through TTRPGs, we further fell in love with the idea of playing out space fantasy stories through the game of Starfinder. Thus, our first full length podcast, the Apollo Protection Agency, was born! The STF Network continues to grow; we now have a our second full AP show, an increasing Twitch presence, specialized talk shows, and exclusive Patreon content. Our library continues to expand along with an amazing community that supports us. Shows Drift Delvers Drifting in the space above Absolom Station, the strange Anomaly Beacon remains a mystery even five years after the Siege on Absalom Station. Shrouded in a force field, top drift scientists have tried to break through to no avail. The Church of Triune is now claiming that this new drift beacon should fall under their domain, claiming it as a mystery belonging to Triune and rumors are starting to swirl that Triune Priests say they are close to breaking through the Anomaly Beacons’ force field, jeopardizing Absalom Stations hold on the object. Councilwoman Rajni has gathered a highly specialized group of scientists - specializing in niche fields with differing perspectives from traditional scholars, will they be able to finally understand the Anomaly Beacon? Things however go vastly awry when the scientist teams ship is waylaid by space pirates and an even more anomalous event than the Beacon sends the team hurtling through space and time - unstuck from reason and logic - and the crew must not only find a way home, but manage to survive long enough to make it there… Apollo Protection Agency Come join the Apollo Protection Agency as they encounter threats across the Pact Worlds! The challenges they face are at times overwhelming, but as the camaraderie between the crew grows, so too does their determination to never back down from a worthy fight. The crew started Season One by tackling AGAINST THE AEON THRONE, brought together by a common friend to come fist-to-face with the Azlanti Star Empire. Season Two gets darker as the crew is unnerved in SIGNAL OF SCREAMS and our adventure takes a bit of a twist in the horror direction. Fear not, our epic crew gets their chance to shine as they rumble their way into DEVASTATION ARK for Season Three! Resident GM, Adam Kelly, guides the rest of the crew through these adventures with an eye for allowing for character relationships to flourish and to let storytelling to take center stage alongside dramatic starship combats and fights that can turn on a dime. Meet memorable characters from the vast reaches of space, cheer as the crew defeats a stubborn foe, and gasp in terror as Adam inflicts terrible, horrible fates upon our favorite characters. It’s a roller coaster of emotions. Come along for the ride! Live and Let Fly STF's own Zac Evans steps behind the screen to GM a crew of misfits and personalities more concerned with earning enough credits for beer and a cheeseburger than they are with saving the galaxy. Under the guidance of their greenhorn captain, Roland Mons Gelidus, the crew get their hands dirty as they wrestle with the hard cases of dangerous trade routes and the weight of the corporate thumb. They'll encounter a wide cast of characters in their pursuit to impress clients and get paid, before the competetion swoop in to take their jobs right out from under them. Strap in for a long haul as Zac leads the crew through the turbulent world of galactic trucking, nebulous time, and space goblins. Under The Table The dust kicks up on your boots as you stride through the smog filled streets, under the watching eye of the towering brass spires and feeling constant unease, knowing that all around you are ne’er do wells and outlaws, making it a hard place for an honest citizen. Even harder when the biggest scoundrels out there have badges, authority, and a willingness to use that leverage to make life richer for themselves at the cost of everyone else. Join the Strange Table Fellows as we make our first on-air journey into the world of steampunk and fantasy in a new game from Paizo - OUTLAWS OF ALKENTSTAR, a Pathfinder 2e adventure path!

Beyond Tabletop is a streamlined, web based suite of tools designed to enhance both online and in person roleplaying sessions. Developed as a lightweight alternative to bulky virtual tabletops, it focuses on speed, simplicity, and real time synchronization using Google Firebase technology. It is built for players who want digital character sheets and tactical maps without the steep learning curve or high system requirements of more complex platforms. Description Beyond Tabletop is designed to remove the "baggage" often associated with digital gaming tools. It offers a clean, mobile friendly interface that works on any device with a web browser. The platform provides dedicated support for Dungeons & Dragons 5e and Pathfinder, featuring automated character sheets and a highly intuitive mapping system. Rather than replacing the tabletop experience, it seeks to modernize the traditional pen and paper feel through real time collaboration and easy link sharing. System Overview & Key Features Real-time Firebase integration Every change made to a character sheet or a map is updated instantly for all connected players. There is no need to refresh the page or manually save progress, making it one of the most responsive browser based tools for tracking combat and health. Streamlined Character Sheets The platform includes built in libraries for core classes, feats, spells, and conditions for 5e and Pathfinder. These sheets are designed to handle the tedious math of leveling up while remaining flexible enough for homebrew customizations and unique character builds. Simple Tactical Mapping The map tool focuses on core utility over flashy graphics. GMs can quickly upload background images, place tokens, and draw shapes to define the battlefield. It includes a built in initiative tracker and status effect markers that are visible to the entire party.
