Tales from Myriad

Beginner-friendly
High-Fantasy
Indie
Tales from Myriad is a Campaign-focused fantasy game run by a GM for at least 2 players. It is a 2d6 system with exploding dice and a magic dice pool-per cast (with miscasts!). It embraces whimsy and chaos, making every session an unpredictable adventure. Its standout features are its unique magic system that adds excitement and surprise to every spell, its character creation is quick and easy (plus, CLOTHES! Your wardrobe keeps you alive!) and the mechanics are approachable for newcomers while still offering plenty of depth and creative freedom for more seasoned players. With its focus on dungeon-delving and its playful, unpredictable style, Myriad is perfect for those who love creativity, surprises, and a touch of chaos in their games.

Meet Leaflet, a wiki-style notetaking tool for TTRPG campaigns! Leaflet is an online note-taking tool for players, writers, and GMs of TTRPG campaigns, giving users a smarter way to organize campaigns and stories. Easily create Binders to store note pages, and invite others to join and contribute on your current game or next exciting project. As users create notes, the system automatically links related pages together, resulting in a wiki-style view of the entire campaign. Note pages are perfect for characters and NPCs, session recaps, items and locations, quest hooks, plot threads, historical events, and everything else that big campaigns need to keep straight. Plus, when paired with other features like Tracks and Calendars, Leaflet notes become powerful, searchable, and memorable. Features: • Note pages with automatic links • Tracks (clocks) • Calendar and Timeline support • Image-to-Text import • Multitasking • Collaborate with other users • No generative AI and more in development

Castle VTT

Virtual tabletop (VTT)
English
Free
Castle VTT is currently in active development, so features discussed or shown in screenshots may change. Castle VTT is a virtual tabletop that runs on the GM's own computer. The desktop app contains the whole server, so there is nothing to rent and nothing to configure. One click puts the table online through a Cloudflare Tunnel, and players join from a browser link. There are no seats to buy and no per-player cost, and the campaign lives on the GM's disk as a database file and an uploads folder they can copy or back up like any other folder. It ships its rules engines in the box rather than assembling them from modules. Pathfinder 2e Remaster enforces the three-action economy, the multiple attack penalty and four degrees of success; D&D 5e handles true multiclassing with a shared slot table, separate Pact Magic and per-class save DCs. Both share dynamic lighting with walls and doors, per-player fog of war, server-rolled dice, a 1-20 character builder, and peer-to-peer voice between players' browsers. Importers cover Foundry, Roll20 and Universal VTT, plus a PDF-to-compendium tool with a review step. Castle VTT is in open alpha. Windows, Linux and macOS. Links castlevtt.com - Official website
