MACH

English
Modern
MACH is a tactical, high-octane, and lethal tabletop roleplaying game (TTRPG) created by Steel Raven Games, where players play as specialists charged with fighting international threats and completing secret operations. Description Welcome to MACH, a tactical high octane lethal TTRPG set in the not so far future. In MACH, you play as the people who get stuff done. Not always clean. Not always fair.  But they get the job done nonetheless.  Facing off against criminals, discovering plots, hacking systems and narrowly escaping means that at all times, danger is real. Stay on your toes, or end up dead. Players are regularly fighting threats out of their level, stuck in deadly scenarios, and one mistake away from being killed. You play as these specialists, people who do things fast, hard and well. Specialties and skills differ per character, with a heavy emphasis on making your character yours.  Are you someone who blows things up? or do you fight your way through hordes of opponents? Either way, the unique aspect makes you different, it makes you better than others. The secrets and closed doors of the world are now wide open. The question is if you dare to go through them.

NovArchaic

Rules-light
NovArchaic is a modern-day science-fantasy tabletop role-playing game focused on identity-first character creation, a structured-but-creative action system, and fun, rewarding crafting. Character creation focuses on a character with a backstory rooted in the setting and goals that, once completed, unlock new ways to improve. All actions use a unified passive and active skill system, tied into a flexible critical-effect system. But what about the setting? NovArchaic's core setting is a world that didn't know it wasn't whole. The core reality shard is our modern world, with its cell phones and memes. Then there are fractures and other shards containing magic and monsters. Slowly, as time passes, these parts of the universe try to come back together, but it's a complicated, bloody mess.

W.A.R.P. - Warriors Across Rapid Periods

Rules-light
Grab your gear, strap on you A.G.E. DEVICE and put on your favorite playlist of songs that people think are patriotic but actually criticize the system! Personally I recommend Fortunate Son and In the Army Now! Warriors Across Rapid Periods (W.A.R.P.) is a RPG about a group of moderately trained young adults duped by the military industrial complex to strap highly experimental time-travel technology to themselves and carry out missions of dubious morality. You will need a GM (called a Commander), 2 - 4 players, a bunch of dice (d4, d6, d8, d10 and d12), paper or index cards, snacks and a (non-)alcoholic beverage of your choosing! The rulebook is an in-universe training manual for fresh recruits and contains all the rules for players, some guidance for Commanders and a sample mission. W.A.R.P. works on a simple system: Characters are represented by 4 stats (Pace, Uptake, Tough, Strong), each with a value of d4, d6 or d8 Enemies, landscapes, challenges, etc. are represented as two types of Threats rated from d4 up to d12 Gear has limited uses and gives specific bonuses You roll your stat against a Threat if you roll lower, you take damage by reducing your stats (e.g. d6 -> d4) if you roll equal or higher, you beat an Immediate Threat or reduce Persistent Threat (e.g. d8 -> d6) The cool part comes in when you die (or just want to retry a section)! Each character has a number of Time-Quarks at their disposal that allow them to either: Go back in time a brief moment individually to try to beat the Threat again Return as a group to the start of the mission, retaining all future knowledge - you don't have to roll again for the Threats already faced! W.A.R.P. is best played as a "beer and pretzels" game. Its intended tone is over the top dumb 80s or 90s "Hoorah" military action with touchstones such as: Movies like Commando, Independence Day, Predator, Men in Black Video games like the newer Call of Duty games, Sniper Elite series
