A New Age of Iron: New Draw Steel Campaign

Draw Steel
Draw Steel
Chevy Chase

Description

Title: A New Age of Iron System: Draw Steel Platform: Codex (VTT) & Discord (Voice), monthly meetings in person in Chevy Chase, MD (Near Washington, DC) Availability: 1-2 seats available (already have 4 players) Time: Saturdays 2-6 PM EST. Tone: Serious, not quite grimdark. Somewhere between GoT and BG3 Hook: In the shadow of the Iron Covenant, you and a group of other heroes struggle against darkness and tyranny! Requirements: 18+ only, reliable attendance, a solid mic/camera, and a willingness to engage with the setting (Lore primers for different subjects available, further info available at request). If interested, send me a DM on Discord and we can hop in a call and chat for a bit! I am about to start running a narrative- / RP-focused Draw Steel game, and am looking for several players to join this new campaign. We meet on weekly Saturdays for 4 hours, 2PM-6PM. We're looking for excited players, newbies more than welcome. We meet online over discord, and use our cameras, and have an in-person session about once a month! Players should be in the DC/NOVA/Southern Maryland area and have the ability to travel once every month or two to Chevy Chase, MD. All levels of experience with Draw Steel (we're all new but are 5e vets)/roleplaying games are welcome. The game I run uses official Draw Steel rules and ancestries in a homebrew world, but I'm open to reviewing homebrew classes and races if that interests you. I'm running an RP-focused game, so if you're more for the Diablo "kill shit get loot" style, it may not be for you. I have worked with my players to make characters who fit into the world, and will do this with anyone who joins! My only pet peeves are people who are never available/flake and complainers. We do not tolerate hate of any kind at the table. We have a list of lines/veils and some cultural fit things in this google doc, but it isn't necessary to read it before reaching out. Log in to view If you have any questions, or would like to join, please DM me here or on discord (username QuirkyEclipse)!

DETAILS Online, AD&D 1e/homebrew campaign with the developer of AD&D Toolkit.  Can be either Tuesday or Wednesday nights 6:45pm - 9:45pm EST.  Or Saturday 9:30am - 12:30pm EST. REQUIREMENTS - Discord and working mic - Roll20: https://roll20.net/ - AD&D Toolkit: https://adndtoolkit.com/ - $10/player/session DESCRIPTION Karmont is a small, frontier kingdom nestled among a series of mountain ranges near the coast of a largely unexplored continent.  The namesake capitol is cradled in the tallest peaks, far to the north.  Beyond the mountains are desolate lands, ruled by all matter of foul creatures.  Tantalized by the hopeful promise of treasure hordes and riches uncounted, adventurous types have been settling the coastal side of the mountains for decades now and continue to push northward. Kobolds, Goblins, and ill-mannered creatures of all sorts continually raid what cities have taken root in the fledgling kingdom.  Their ultimate aim is to drive all good peoples south, into the ocean from whence they came.  Thus the King has vowed to eventually press his forces beyond the mountains, to bring the fight to the enemy and put a permanent halt to their machinations and all of the resulting incursions.  Will you find treasure and glory in this wild, hinterlands?  Will you be able to stamp your mark as a hero of Karmont? A Tale of Horror—The Old Doll Levels 4 - 6

Paid game
The Game Master charges a fee to run the game.
Roleplay focused
Conversation, character and story take up most of the table time.
You are a couple of seasoned travelers about to be dragged into something a lot more than you bargained for. This is a tale of emotion, terror, and tragedy; but also one of heroism, something the people of Neverwinter desperately need as they struggle against a serial killer. This short adventure goes from levels 4 - 6 for a party of 3 – 5 players. The game is designed to run anywhere between 4 – 8 sessions and focuses on mystery, horror, a decent amount of combat, and thrilling and dramatic roleplay! Session 0 is free, and we focus on expectations there, so everyone knows what they’re getting into.  Further Details and how to join here: https://startplaying.games/adventure/cmuss8jfq01dkl9043evcktv7?ref=cl364he035phabopk9zps3nif I have a few other games listed on my profile if this doesn't work; you can check that, and more information about me and my style here: https://startplaying.games/gm/627fe21745eac1ca56eb8f72

Spacers

Hello Im Diablo I have been DMing/playing D&D and TTRPG's for 14 years. Spacers is my first system that I have made and im looking for playtesters before I publish it. Welcome to the Galaxy The galaxy is enormous. Thousands of inhabited worlds circle distant stars. Trade routes connect sprawling core systems to isolated frontier colonies. Noble houses control entire regions of space. Corporations own stations, shipyards, armies, and sometimes governments. Pirates hunt vulnerable freighters between systems. Mercenary companies fight wars that governments would rather keep unofficial. Somewhere among all of it is you. Maybe you are a former naval pilot trying to make a living without taking orders. Maybe you are a bounty hunter with a battered gunship and several unpaid docking fees. Maybe you are an engineer who trusts machines more than people. Maybe you are a trader looking for the deal that will finally make you rich. What Is This Game? This is a tabletop roleplaying game about independent spacefarers living and working in a vast science-fiction galaxy. Players create characters who form a shared crew and decide which opportunities are worth the risk. ~Accept mercenary contracts ~Hunt pirates and wanted criminals ~Escort ships and protect cargo ~Trade, smuggle, or salvage ~Explore unknown systems ~Fight aboard ships and stations ~Upgrade personal equipment and spacecraft ~Build relationships with factions ~Recruit crew members ~Build a mercenary company, fortune, or reputation A Game About Freedom Player characters are not automatically soldiers serving a government or chosen heroes following a predetermined destiny. They may work for governments, noble houses, corporations, guilds, colonies, private citizens, or themselves. The Game Master presents the galaxy. The players decide how they live in it. Thank you for your time, And please fill out the questionnaire to join. I hope to see you on the commend deck. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScGPgPv3gaGohUvQx0tNNzSDoFEqREFWsfniteNU2Qcs7tlNw/viewform?usp=dialog
