An Eldritch Horror with a Vampire Twist  You crashed a nautiloid ship and you have temporary amnesia forgetting the past 48 hours of your events  You have a strange headache and you swear you feel a tense migraine forming behind your eye a piercing pain almost wriggling.  You find your bearings and you realise your near a place called Seabrooke  When you get there it's a strange solem place. The Lord has been taking people away and they have never been seen again  And you realise your senses can't be trusted as your starting to see things that is making your psyche break.  What is happening? What is this strange illness that's spreading in Seabrooke and why does it not stop with a cleric or a paladin touch

Hai :3  I've been DMing online for about 2 years now but I've never tried irl, so here I'm trying to start that :p forgive me if I'm rather amateurish  I have two campaigns that I'll decide between based on the player makeup, one a time-loop sandbox I've home-brewed, and another a tighter dungeon crawl, still fairly nonlinear, based on Fear&Hunger. Before any of them, I'd like to run a oneshot to see what type of players I have  Generally, I don't tend to stick super closely to rules as written, and tend to not plan nameless enemies. You have to keep going through this strange 'dungeon' and make it through this place or claim the titles and be the bringer of the apocalypse Investigate, use your wits, charm, battle or even your body to bring down maeve or even (join her) WARNING This is a NSFW campaign with strong sexual themes/scenes and body horror In Session 0 I not only go over knowing what my player boundaries are but I inform my players of my own boundaries. Session 0 is also a great way to manage expectations before the game starts. If due to any reason a problem arise, I will have another session 0 to remind everyone of boundaries and safety techniques. Plus in session 0 we will be going in detail about kinks and what everyone is fine with wants to see or don't see. I do breaks in the sessions to let my players have a chance to think, let them have a time to rest mentally for 5 or 10 minutes, or how ever long my players need, so they know they are able to get something to eat or go have a toilet break During intense sessions I inform and remind everyone that my Dms are always open so they are aware if they do feel uncomfortable at one point and I am not aware and don't want to say it outright i will take it seriously and make sure to keep the player comfort a priority. At the end of intense sessions I always check in on my players to make sure they are okay
