Long time GM, new to Shadowrun

Shadowrun
Shadowrun
Online

Description

Hey y'all! I'm a gm with about 8 years of experience looking for 2-4 people to join in on a Shadowrun 6e game that I plan to run soon. I've never run or played Shadowrun before, despite a lot of time trying, so a player who knows the game decently would be a great help. After this campaign of Shadowrun is done, I plan on moving onto another game, depending on what all of the players would like. Session 0 and character creation will be held on September 2nd between midnight and 4 am EST and games will be held weekly. The game will be held on discord and Foundry VTT. A good microphone and okay internet is required for playing, and a camera is a nice to have since I'll be turning mine on during the game. Thank you for reading this if you do and thank you even more if you decide that you'd like to play. If you are interested, please add me on discord at bigpapirojer . I'll try my best to have a very short interview with you before session 0 just to see if we vibe.

The Greek Job

Hello! I'm looking to recruit 2 to 3 players for an online, bi-weekly game set in the Federation of Hellas (Greece). This will be a Shadowrun 2e game based in the year 2057. Knowledge of Shadowrun 2e is not necessary, and I can teach you as we play (so, newbies welcome). I haven't played 2e for awhile, so I may be a bit rusty! The pitch? An eccentric fixer has put out a call for shadowrunners for a series of jobs in the Mediterranean. The job? Retrieve three pieces of a book and return them to the Johnson, no questions asked. Characters will utilize the SR2e book (no expansions at the start). Euro based characters with skills in swimming, diving, boat piloting, etc. will be encouraged, because this game takes place in and on the Mediterranean. A Session Zero to make characters and run a simple run is planned. I'm looking to run Sunday nights from 7:30pm Eastern Standard Time, running til about 11:30pm or so. If you're interested, PM me here or on Reddit. Thanks for reading!

Playtest
The game is still being tested, and your feedback is part of the point.
Where: Discord/Roll20 Seattle. 2073. You are a group of experienced shadowrunners who have made a name for yourselves in this corrupt city. For those who can afford it, you have already tipped the scales in local affairs a few times now. Your list of allies and enemies grows by the month. A Mr. Johnson who works for Ares Macrotechnology's local R&D department has approached you for a job. He wants his boss's position, and he needs your help doing it. The job? Infiltrate one of the AAA megacorp's testing facilities in the Cascade Mountains, steal the sole existing blueprints for a new weapon, escape, and turn them in to Mr. Johnson. Then he will play the hero once he produces the blueprints a week later, making his boss look massively incompetent in the process. It's a simple job. In and out. What could go wrong? -- This Shadowrun game presents a more streamlined version of the 4e rules to retain all the tactics, equipment, and buckets of dice that you've come to love. But at the same time, it's leaner and faster (and also less broken). If you wish to know more, the full rules are available here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1yyMJ9Xmd7rTAlt_0VMhCrAM1RgVQj6JiHhzABUqLEaE/edit?usp=sharing Rules will be taught in media res, though some SR experience is a plus. We will play for 60-90 minutes, take a 10-15 minute break once you make your plan, and then finish the rest of the 4-hour session. This is a one-shot playtest for a game I'll be running at a convention in a few weeks. Be aware that the rules are still in alpha, so there could be some roughness. But I assure you that these rules are still a lot smoother than the official ones. If you ever wanted to play Shadowrun but were put off by the official rules, this game is for you! If you're interested in playing, please apply here. We're still looking for a couple more players.

DETAILS Online, AD&D 1e/homebrew campaign with the developer of AD&D Toolkit.  Can be either Tuesday or Wednesday nights 6:45pm - 9:45pm EST.  Or Saturday 9:30am - 12:30pm EST. REQUIREMENTS - Discord and working mic - Roll20: https://roll20.net/ - AD&D Toolkit: https://adndtoolkit.com/ - $10/player/session DESCRIPTION Karmont is a small, frontier kingdom nestled among a series of mountain ranges near the coast of a largely unexplored continent.  The namesake capitol is cradled in the tallest peaks, far to the north.  Beyond the mountains are desolate lands, ruled by all matter of foul creatures.  Tantalized by the hopeful promise of treasure hordes and riches uncounted, adventurous types have been settling the coastal side of the mountains for decades now and continue to push northward. Kobolds, Goblins, and ill-mannered creatures of all sorts continually raid what cities have taken root in the fledgling kingdom.  Their ultimate aim is to drive all good peoples south, into the ocean from whence they came.  Thus the King has vowed to eventually press his forces beyond the mountains, to bring the fight to the enemy and put a permanent halt to their machinations and all of the resulting incursions.  Will you find treasure and glory in this wild, hinterlands?  Will you be able to stamp your mark as a hero of Karmont?
