Description

**Am going to host another campaign of my Novymirn world, first campaign is full, thats why the 0/5 so slots open! **Probably for friday night, saturdays or sundays noon. *Some of the ART of the campaign is AI generated, however we dont want to encourage/promote or claim it as real art, I just simply lack the funds and time to create the assets. The worldbuilding/writing is free of AI. Just a disclaimer if you arent fine with that. Imagine a dark high-fantasy cold world with snowy magical forests, cool pairies and the usual abandoned tank wreck next to a decaying base. In sense thats the world of Novymirn, my homebrew project I have been working on for years, that is lightly taken inspiration from the anime "GATE" as its in a way a clash between fantasy and modern, but its not actually the focus, which in true is the mysterious nature of the world, how it works and what happened. And the clash is the society and history found: the native 'beastfolk' or Zvernarod have built a late-medieval fantasy civilization here, using glowing crystals to cast powerful spells and scavenging strange, ancient metals from long-vanished ruins to forge their weapons. Meanwhile, a dwindling army of normal Soviets who marched through a mysterious portal decades ago are now permanently stranded here, clinging to their firearms, tanks, and a heavily fortified bunker-state. Thats the very brief introduction, and there alot more... About Me First -Language & Timezone: I speak both English and Spanish well, and I’m in the CST/CT Timezone. -Experience: I’m not super experienced running official D&D (I've only done a couple), I have ton of text roleplaying and creative writing experience. Since we are using a system built from scratch, we’ll all be learning, improving, and building this together. -The Logistics: We'll do sessions via Discord voice chat (no cameras needed, though I don't mind them). I'm aiming for weekly or bi-weekly sessions. I’m flexible with the schedule but would prefer late-night CST. Would like to record the sessions and possibly upload them. What to Expect from the Game -The Focus: The campaign will focus heavily on roleplaying, exploration, world immersion, and player interactions. -The System: I use my own super-simplified dice-rolling system. It's designed to let us focus way more on narrative and roleplay, while still keeping that fun luck-vs-skill factor of the dice. -Work in Progress: I’m actively working on this world. It’s mature enough to play in, but expect quite a bit of reading for character creation and immersion. I even have a work-in-progress online character creator form you can use! -Customization: Because I'm still developing the lore, I only have a few official species fully written out. I am totally open to homebrewing custom, in-lore species with you. Expect a few lore holes here and there, but we can fill them together. Who I'm Looking For -Mature/Adults Only: I don't want to deal with any out-of-game drama. -Genuinely Interested: People who actually want to explore the world, find out about its weird nature, the places, and the people. At its core, this game is about discovery. -Reliable: Consistency and punctuality for sessions is huge for me. -Any Experience Level: I don't mind if you are a total beginner or a veteran—I'll need to teach you how I run things anyway!

🎲 LOOKING FOR D&D PLAYERS 🎲 Hey everyone! I’m looking for 2 to 6 players for a new D&D campaign set in my original world, Faendel. New players are absolutely welcome. You don’t need any experience with D&D. I’ve been a DM for 10+ years, I’ve taken 2 improv classes, and I’m also an experienced fantasy story writer. My goal is to make this fun, welcoming, and easy to get into, especially if you’ve never played before. 👥 2 to 6 players 🎲 5e based system 💻 Hosted through Discord 🗺️ Maps and visual aids 🤖 Custom bot generation for maps, character sheets, artwork and other resources we might need 📅 Saturdays or Sundays depending on everyone’s schedules ⏰ Extremely flexible scheduling 🌎 ABOUT FAENDEL Faendel is a world I’ve been building over the years through my D&D campaigns. The lore wasn’t created entirely by me. A huge part of Faendel’s history was created by the players who have participated in my campaigns. I’ve done the majority of the writing and brought everything together, but the players’ decisions, characters, actions and consequences have shaped the world itself. What your character does matters. Your choices can change characters, locations, history and even the future of the setting. Things that happen during your campaign can become permanent parts of Faendel’s lore. You aren’t just playing through a story I already wrote. You’re helping write the next part of it. 🌊 THE CAMPAIGN The campaign takes place during the Third Era of Faendel, around the years 570 to 580. Faendel is a world where the oceans have always been deadly. Something as simple as falling into the sea can mean death. Long ago, strange portals began appearing across the world, bringing people, creatures and entire civilizations from places that should never have been able to reach Faendel. Because of this, your character has a lot of freedom. You can be from Faendel, or you can come from another world entirely. Your character can be a traditional fantasy adventurer or something much more unusual. The portals have brought all kinds of people into this world. You’ll begin at your weakest point and grow from there as you explore Faendel, meet its people and discover why you ended up here. The campaign will focus on exploration, character development, player choice, combat and uncovering the secrets of the world. You don’t need to know the lore beforehand. You don’t need to know the rules. I’ll help you build your character and teach you everything as we play. 🎭 ONE SHOT OR FULL CAMPAIGN? This can start as a one shot. If everyone has fun and the party wants to continue, we can turn it into a full length campaign and keep building the story from there. There’s no pressure to commit to a huge campaign before you even know if you enjoy playing together. 🧑‍🤝‍🧑 SESSION 0 IS COMPLETELY FREE Before anyone commits to anything, we’ll have a free Session 0 where we can: • Meet each other • Get to know me as the DM • Talk about what everyone wants from the game • Create characters • Go over the basics of D&D • Discuss the world and campaign lore • Talk about boundaries and themes • Figure out scheduling There is no financial requirement to play. If you enjoy the game and want to support me, tips are always appreciated and completely welcome, but they are never required. I’m currently going through some difficult financial circumstances, so any support genuinely means a lot to me. At the same time, I don’t want money to be the reason someone misses out on getting to experience D&D. If you’ve wanted to try D&D but never had a group, or you’re an experienced player looking for a new world to explore, feel free to reach out. 📩 Comment below or message me if you’re interested! Come help me add another chapter to Faendel. You never know what your character might end up becoming a part of. 🎲
