Description

The old world has drowned. Life carries on across floating settlements and scattered islands, while lost civilisations lie beneath the waves. Ships carry stories, supplies, and strangers between communities built from the remnants of what came before. Some seek a fresh start; others search for answers in the wreckage of the past. Ancient relics, unfamiliar shores, and things stirring in the deep await beyond the horizon. Fancy exploring a flooded fantasy world and making some friends along the way? I’m putting together a tabletop group in Amsterdam (Czaar Peterstraat, 15 min from CS). Organised every other week (depending on everyone’s interest and availability) Snacks & good vibes included. Sea Wolves: Salt & Sorcery is a post-apocalyptic fantasy story sandbox about finding our place in the world. Expect lots of roleplaying, collective storytelling and rewarding combat encounters, played with paper minis on a digital map. Rescue, recover, protect, escape: 'defeat all enemies' is almost never the main objective. What do you find in that wreck? Who do you recognise in the harbour? Sometimes you tell me, other times I'll tell you. Character motivations and relationships are at the core of our story. Follow a mystery, help a settlement, chase your ambition, pet a turtle? The ocean has plenty of room for adventure, mystery, friendship, humour, and dubious schemes. Ik spreek gewoon Nederlands, but we'll play mostly in English. There’s room to have fun, be creative and express yourself. I like doing voices, you're encouraged (but never expected) to get goofy and do so as well. I’d love an inclusive, diverse group where everyone feels comfortable being themselves. Come curious and be kind. Boundaries are always respected, no questions asked. New players are welcome!

D&D One Shot day @ Arcane Forge

Paid game
The Game Master charges a fee to run the game.
One table, one adventure, one afternoon — no campaign, no commitment. D&D One-Shot Day brings a set of self-contained adventures to the Forge, each one beginning and ending in a single session. Pre-made characters are provided, so you can turn up with nothing but curiosity and walk out having saved (or doomed) a kingdom. New to D&D? This is the easiest way in — our DMs will teach you the rules at the table. Played for years? Pick a table, meet new people, and try a character you'd never commit a whole campaign to. 📍  Rijnstraat 25-H, Amsterdam · Saturday 24 October ticket for 7.99

Weekdays only, a group decides on day & time Most people will probably play between 16:00 – 21:00 (GMT+0) Will be played in Discord voice chat, "Theatre of the Mind" playstyle (means no VTT) My Discord (weebseatshit) *PREMISE* You are dragged into a dangerous encounter together with other unlucky ones. Now you are bonded whether you want it or not. Since you are a witness, some people want you dead, watch your back(s) & trust no one It's an RP-focused, Forgotten Realms based, custom (homebrew) campaign with an emphasis on story, characters & adventures Ratio: 40 Roleplay/40 Exploration/20 Combat Starting level is 1, standard array for abilities Spells become cantrips, you can cast them without components or GP Some spells that affect game's balance & world, may be forbidden. It'll be discussed Instead of HP you have healthbars, & you don't know how big are your enemies healthbars Healthbars are rather "cinematic". Depending from how much dmg you receive, i'll adjust your condition. But in general: 6 HP: Sorcerer, Wizard 8 HP: Bard, Cleric, Druid, Monk, Rogue, Warlock 10 HP: Fighter, Paladin, Ranger 12 HP: Barbarian Only these races are allowed: Human, Elf (Moon, Wood), Dwarf, Goliath, Tiefling (Purple, Pink, Blue), Tystling (a human with cat ears (& eyes)) Artificer & Psion aren't allowed I'll describe locations & looks with little to no detail Just like with the books, i'd prefer that every player imagined their own stuff (& because there may be an info that player may not get or just ignore) A tystling is similar to a cat Monochrome darkvision Enhanced senses: smell, hearing, vision, touch & balance Soft step: walking is almost noiseless (unless a tystling has something noisy on), running is slightly quieter comparing to other races A tystling is shorter than an elf, but taller than a dwarf A tystling is slim like an elf, but lighter than an elf, with smaller muscles. That makes a tystling even more agile & dexterous than an elf, but it's very hard for a tystling to lift or carry medium heavy things
