Description

Greetings! I've started playing DnD and recently i've developed a homebrew campaign. Since it is almost ready (still needs some tweaks and balancing), i would like to get a 2nd opinion on it, maybe a session 0 too for a playtest. GMT+2 You begin as prisoners of the world. Born with mana in a land that fears magic, you were exiled by the inquisitors and shipped to die on a prison island. You never arrive. A sea monster destroys the ship, and you awaken on an uncharted island that doesn’t exist on any map. There are no cities, no laws and no rescue coming. There's only wilderness, ruins, and others who survived in very different ways. The players must scavenge for food and materials, build and upgrade a camp for different bonuses, explore and find different factions on this island. It’s a fantasy survival campaign set in a harsh, isolated world where the players start with very little and must earn everything through exploration, tough choices, and cooperation. The focus is on atmosphere, and storytelling, rather than on fixed outcomes. Players can explore/scavenge dangerous lands, deal with rival factions, build up a camp or settlement over time, and shape how the story evolves through their decisions. Combat exists, as long with some light survival, resource management, and camp expanding mechanics. I was thinking that the campaign adapts to player choices, nothing is predetermined or set in stone story-wise. Dm if interested. English is not my main language, so i apologise for any misspellings.

"A real sense of a world and a story to explore" - current player review More reviews at https://startplaying.games/adventure/cmn29jth10031jy047qj8r5o0 Pick up your guns, and save the Material Plane! - Blast your way through a dying D&D weird west, with new firearm-themed magic items, spells, and subclasses - Fight an enigmatic cult, set on making the apocalypse even worse - Track down mysterious tarot cards and solve the puzzle of creation - Prevent (or abet!) an inter-planar jailbreak - Mind Flayer Train Heist Hear what Jacob the DM has to say about Spireward Bound at https://youtu.be/8lGXO76AeW8 At the centre of the Great Wheel lies the Material Plane, and at the centre of the Material Plane is Sigil. A flying city of portals, the City of Doors has closed. The gods have decreed that The Reckoning has come and the Material Plane's time is over. All that is left now is the Endlands, immeasurable leagues of sunless wastes, fled by all who can escape to the Outer Planes. But something else moves in the shadows. Might there be something worse than the end of the Material Plane after all? In this mash-up of Planescape and Stephen King's Dark Tower epic, you will explore a reality moving on, discover the secrets of its creation, and decide its fate once and for all. Your heroes have come together from across D&D's time and space to a land of sunless light, unpredictable magic, and guns. Lots of guns. Let's hope you're quick on the draw. Built for players who are comfortable with 5e and excited for a twist on its core rules, Spireward Bound follows a semi-episodic structure. Every few sessions, your characters are confronted with a new, exciting situation on your journey, each of which is designed for open-ended adventure. Our adventure is well underway, but there's room at the fireside for more travelers! Our Tarot Hunters are now about halfway through their quest to the Spire, coming to believe they have to save all of creation from the hunger of the Crimson King. They have just taken the very first steps in pursuit of the Justice Tarot...

MOONLIGHTERS: Adventures After Dark!

Homebrew
House rules, a custom setting, or a system the Game Master wrote themselves.
The City never sleeps, and as a Moonlighter, niether will you! MOONLIGHTERS is a high-stakes Dungeons and Dragons campaign set in a fantastical version of the modern day. The players take the role of Moonlighters - part time adventurers who operate after dark. Are you a college dropout Elf? A pixie attorney specialising in Magic Item law? A gnome taxi driver? Whatever your reason, while the city sleeps, you Adventure! Players will form an Adventuring Party, working the Adventuring gig economy in the Big City. They'll choose from available jobs, meet wacky clients, and co-operatively worldbuild and expand on the city with the DM in the process. Will you stage an elaborate heist at the Museum of Villainy? Fix a Wizard Duel for a down-and-out gambler? Explore the forgotten catacombs of the public graveyard? It's up to you! More here: https://startplaying.games/adventure/cmq7tyim4007bjs04bh2hluyy?q=moonlighters  Each of the player characters will have a day job, which will be narratively incorporated into the story. If your single dad Orc is an accountant by day. maybe they'll notice some irregularities in the companies magical accounts. If they're an exhausted sound technician for a bratty DJ, maybe they'll have some connections to the shadier side of the city. During a Session 0, we will all discuss the general tone of the game the players are in the mood for. Player characters could all be friends fresh out of college, living out a coming-of-age Jon Hughes movie (with oozes and werewolves), a group of reluctant oddballs flung together in a workplace comedy, or desperate individuals just trying to make ends meet in a brutal, unforgiving city. The choice will be communal, and can always evolve with the narrative. I will discuss privately what each player wants to see, and what they never want to see in game. I'll make sure everyone is on the same page without drawing attention to any individual player's needs. The games is $20 per session via Startplaying. Alternatively, you can message me if you would rather pay another way.

Hai :3  I've been DMing online for about 2 years now but I've never tried irl, so here I'm trying to start that :p forgive me if I'm rather amateurish  I have two campaigns that I'll decide between based on the player makeup, one a time-loop sandbox I've home-brewed, and another a tighter dungeon crawl, still fairly nonlinear, based on Fear&Hunger. Before any of them, I'd like to run a oneshot to see what type of players I have  Generally, I don't tend to stick super closely to rules as written, and tend to not plan nameless enemies. I also don't have a super firm grasp on the rules themselves lol so it'll be a learning experience for all of us (so generally, not trying for the highest heights of difficulty)  In terms of players, I'm hoping to find people who aren't super old (I'm sixteen, ideally be under 20) and who are ok with the queers™ (don't be an arse basically)  So ya :3 if you want a roleplay-planning focused campaign rather than turn by turn battle strategy this is probably the campaign for you ✨  If your interested, DM me on discord at 'lavenderthesillycat'
