Rollcall Tavern

A DM cockpit for 5e-compatible tables

Overview

RollCall Tavern is a browser based toolset for running table top RPG's. The intent was to put everything a session needs in one place, For the DM it provides a single workbench for the campaign. The DM can take Notes, create NPCs, and generate battle and more. A story map helps organize and branch your thoughts visually. While, battle maps calculate line of sight, so walls block vision and each player sees only what their character can see. Built in combat tracker helps you run and calculate enemy damage. Rollcall Tavern also allows you to push images to the players, anytime so you can share more than just battle maps. Run your campaign the way you want it to be run. For players the experience runs on any browser. They see the current map and any material the DM pushes to them, and on their turn they attack, cast, move and end their turn from a single action bar. Player sheets and inventory tracking also help players stay organized and ready to go. Everything runs in a browser. There is nothing to install, and a session works the same way whether the group is gathered around one table or playing remotely. RollCall Tavern is free to use. The only paid component is optional AI art and text generation, which is disabled by default and can be ignored entirely. A full campaign can be run without it. All campaign data exports as JSON and accounts can be deleted at any time.

Interviews
Welcome to Weird Games and Weirder People, my name is Diogo Nogueira and I will be your host in a series of interviews or chats I am having with creators and artists from the tabletop RPG scene, especially the weird “Indie” people, who creates more personal and, why not, weirder games, weirder, art, weirder fiction, and so on. That’s the stuff I crave, and I think many of us do as well. Weird Games and Weirder People is a podcast about role playing games and the weird wonderful people bedim them. This is the show where we welcome the weirdness both inside and outside each and everyone of us, and talk about how we harness its power to our creations. Stars Without Number

Stars Without Number is a sandbox science fiction tabletop role-playing game designed by Kevin Crawford and published by Sine Nomine Publishing. Originally released in 2010, followed by an extensively expanded and restructured Revised Edition in 2017, the game is a prominent fixture of the Old School Renaissance (OSR) movement. It is structurally engineered to merge the lightweight tactical framework of early fantasy role-playing systems with exhaustive, modular sci-fi sandbox generation toolkits. Description Stars Without Number takes place in the year 3200, centuries after the tragic collapse of the Second Terran Mandate. The human galaxy was once interconnected by instantaneous jump gates and protected by a core of psychic navigators, until an evolutionary psychic catastrophe known as "The Scream" drove every psychic in existence instantly insane or dead. The sudden collapse of interstellar transit triggered a multi-century dark age of isolation known as the Silence. In the modern setting, fractured sectors of space are finally rediscovering faster-than-light spike drives and exploring a fragmented universe. Players navigate this dangerous frontier as spacers, scavengers, mercenaries, or rogue psychics, operating in a cosmos characterized by corporate espionage, lost pre-collapse technology, and shifting planetary regimes.
