Arkham Horror: Comets of Kingsport

Welcome to the Somnium Shard. A sundered paradise; knowledge, gods and power's all known throughout the land, its history coveted by lost tomes, cosmic knowledge and crazed minds. With earliest carvings detailing a different world that may have been the Shard's muse, the inspiration for reality. However not all could be replaced, and the world's panorama was in its own natural discourse, with the residents at home. With that overly grand intro done welcome to my personal world, a multi-year labour of love that I'm still working on with every session, a sandbox type world for players to discover, learn about and influence as they desire. Designed as an open campaign for players to fit into as they wish, follow the threads of their backstory, or start a questline that leads to them swearing loyalty to a kingdom. Whatever it is you feel you want to do in a fantasy world I'll accommodate it as well as I can. However do not think that this means everything is free, the Somnium Shard is still a living and breathing world, thievery, murder and the sort will have consequences, as will trying to steal that magical artifact. You'll have to contend with mages scrying on you, rangers tracking you and bounty hunters after you if you upset the wrong people. So come and join the adventure, see where your characters can take you, how they can evolve and develop in this world with a DM that can handle whatever you feel like throwing at him. Planning to run a campaign eventually with WFRP next year but planning a few oneshots in Oct/Nov/Dec. Will be using Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay 5th edition (only just released) I hope To find some like minded players or just to have a oneshot laugh with new people and maybe bring some people to the game. Beginners more than welcome (some of my group are from DnD and new to Warhammer). If you’re interested drop me a message and tell me a bit about you. For the oneshots I will likely make a load of varied characters with enough choice that there will be something you want to play. This is so that we can get straight into it and learn the rules as we go. Likely play on Weekends usually at Arcanists Tavern in Hackney. For those new to Warhammer: it’s a more grim and more perilous world, set in the Human empire, you have a species: Human, dwarf, halfling, high elf, wood elf. Career: each career has 4 tiers and the idea is you progress in this (or swap to a more appealing one) you may start as a Grave robber but end up as Indiana Jones/Lara Croft type. No game breaking abilities but powerful nonetheless. A bit about me: in my 40s. Group is 30-40s but anyone welcome. I’ve run WFRP as a kid (1st Ed) and as an adult have run 2nd edition. I also play in two DnD 5e campaigns and have DMd a 5e campaign. I plan to go back to Warhammer, love the setting and find the lower power and more brutal Warhammer appealing rather than the quick power jumps. Prędko staje się jasne że w to miejsce przyprowadził was ten sam cel: zbadanie krzyku rozchodząceg się po gęstwinie. Podążając za odgłosem spotykacie ekscentrycznego jegomościa, który wydaje się szukać młodej kobiety, poraz ostatni widzianej w tych lasach. Prędko okazuje się że leśne gestwiny skrywają w sobie mroczne sekrety ,a zło chowa się tuż za rogiem. W miejscu gdzie zmarli zdją się wiedzieć więcej niż żywi, waszym zadanie jest odkrycie zagadki zaginienień nawiedzające okoliczne wśie i odkryć co czycha w mroku. Jednocześnie starając się by samemu nie paść jego ofiarą. Co łączy wszystkich zaginionych? Kto krzyczał w lesie?  ---- To moja pierwsza próba prowadzenia kampani, wcześniej prowadziłxm tylko one-shoty.
