Description

PLEASE NOTE: This is a playtest game, I will be testing out a few different and new systems to myself in hopes of adapting them into my games in the future. This is also a playtest for the Daggerheart Drakkenheim ruleset as well so player feedback is welcomed and encouraged throughout. Wednesday 9pm GMT The 11th day of the 11th month, 1111. To some, it was a day of prophecy; to most, it was just another Tuesday in the jewel of Westemär. Then the sky split open. A star of pulsing violet fire screamed through the heavens and struck the heart of Drakkenheim, vaporizing the Royal Ward in a heartbeat. You aren't heroes, not yet. You are survivors, caught in the shadow of a dying city. As a strange, prismatic fog begins to roll through the streets and the very stones start to weep purple ichor, your only objective is simple: Get out before the Haze claims you. The air is thick with the scent of ozone and rotting flowers. Around you, the impossible is happening. People you knew are warping before your eyes, limbs lengthening, voices dissolving into wet gurgles, and sanity fraying under the glow of the "Octarine" light. This is a world of Eldritch Horror and High Stakes Survival, where every street corner offers a choice between a desperate rescue and a necessary betrayal. In this high-octane Daggerheart adventure set as a Prequel to Dungeons of Drakkenheim, you will navigate a cityscape undergoing a violent, magical metamorphosis, the day the eldritch meteor struck the city. You must balance your dwindling Hope against the encroaching Fear as you witness the birth of a nightmare that will haunt the continent for decades to come. Will you lead survivors to safety, abandoned those that are already lost, or will you become just another shadow etched into the ruins of the lost capital? The sky has fallen, the King is gone, and the Haze is hungry. Run.

Curse of the Sablewood

Newbie friendly
New players are welcome, and nobody expects you to know the rules beforehand.
LGBTQ+ friendly
The table is openly welcoming to LGBTQ+ players.
"Sent by the king, you brave the Sablewood, bringing unmarked cargo to the Whitfire Arcanist in the town of Hush for unknown purpose." This is an official starting adventure for the Daggerheart System, providing info on how to play and premade characters. The setting is one both filled with wonder and dread as the Sablewood is filled with magic both blessed and cursed from the time before the Gods fell. Mixing both roleplay and combat this game acts as a good starter for those new to RPG's in general not just those new to this system.

Daggerheart - The Wyrd of the West

Hi there.  I’m in my late twenties, based in the UK and am setting up a Daggerheart campaign to take place on Saturday evenings (UK time).  Currently, we are quite locked in on doing a session on two Saturdays in a row from 6-10PM (UTC+1/UTC+0), then doing a two week break, then two more weeks of Saturday sessions and so on (i.e. session, session, skip week, skip week, session, session, skip week, skip week, etc.). A big part of this is me wanting to expand my social circle and to make some good friendships that aren’t just limited to time spent in TTRPGs. Currently we have 3/4 players confirmed and I am looking for a final member of the party to round us out (5 players total). This will be my first time with Daggerheart, as it will be for all players currently confirmed.  The setting is a big mix of genres, but primarily Wild West with a lot of spooky and fantastical weirdness. I’d describe it as Weird West/ Gothic/ Horror/ Jazz Age/ Fantasy in a homebrew world. Characters may do things like uncover eldritch cults in the bayou, go on the trail of monsters out in the forests, and duel with undead gunslingers and the like. A setting document has been created to provide a baseline of the world, and players are more than welcome to contribute to the worldbuilding. There are currently no strict overarching plans such as a BBEG or end-goal (though I have some ideas), and I see the campaign being more about having fairly separate arcs and chapters that will have some links to each other, but that could all change based on player input. I want the players to tell me what sort of goals they want their characters to accomplish in the world. Although the setting doesn’t take itself too seriously, I want characters to be capable of being serious and fitting into the world. Currently, I’d like the campaign to go for a few months, maybe about a year (which should take players from levels 1 to 10). What I’m looking for: Enthusiastic and collaborative players, both with the party but also myself, letting me know what next big thing they want to do so I can properly put things in place to make it the best I can. This game relies heavily on a player-gm agreement for what pushes the narrative forwards and provides people with the most enjoyment  Players interested in RP and creating a great story together where everyone has their moments to shine. I’m not looking for players who want to powergame or murderhobo, especially as the campaign would be broadly good-aligned Players interested in the worldbuilding side of the hobby. I’m currently focusing on fleshing out the setting more than a grand overarching story, but I’d really like players to contribute to the setting Reliable scheduling. I’m happy to occasionally run games with a couple of players missing, but mostly I’d like the whole party To clarify, there is no cost associated with this game, and we would be looking to begin in the next couple of weeks. What you’ll need: Discord Mic and speakers for communication Roll 20 A Demiplane account (needed for Daggerheart) Please DM me if interested with a bit about yourself, your playstyle, character ideas and such, and we can discuss!
