Description

Become the spark that burns down a tyrannical Empire. We are a drama-free, welcoming group of 4 players who actually show up every single week ready to tell a story together. Here's a quick campaign hook! "The reign of the tyrant Zharr is absolute, and hope is a forgotten word. But in this campaign, your specific choices and creative ideas will directly shape the survival of the rebellion. This is a high-stakes game of espionage, stealth, and guerrilla warfare where trust is a resource and every mission is critical. You cannot win in open battle, but with your help, you can strike at the heart of an invincible war machine." The Details: - System: Daggerheart (via FoundryVTT) - Time: Saturdays at 11:00 am EST - The Crew: Level 4. We currently have a Warlock, Bard, Sorcerer, and Guardian who desperately need a 5th (or 6th) member to round out the crew for our stealth and sabotage missions. This table is for you if:
  • You want a reliable, weekly escape where you can consistently roll dice with good company (and make friends!).
  • You love the tension of stealth, strategy, and roleplay (remember in daggerheart, there is no "roll for initiative" combat! Fight when you're ready).
If you're ready to join the resistance, send me a DM! I’ll get back to you today.

🌍🌍〰️〰️〰️ | Exploration ⚔️⚔️⚔️〰️〰️ | Combat 🎭🎭🎭〰️〰️ | Social RP & Drama 🧩〰️〰️〰️〰️ | Puzzles 😂😂😂〰️〰️ | Humor # About the Campaign 🧑‍🏫 Learn the Game | 🎲 Sit and Play! | 😄 Have Fun! Marlowe Fairwind, the right-hand sorcerer of King Emeris, has gathered her most trusted allies to carry an important package to Hush, a small village within the ancient forest of Sablewood. The crate is large, heavy and sealed with magic, addressed to the Whitefire Arcanist. You’ve been given a map and a carriage, and the promise of reward upon your arrival. # What This Campaign Offers 🎓 Learn Daggerherat - A quick rundown of the mechanics, providing pre-made characters, complete with suggestions of links and background questions to help you immerse yourself. ⚖️ An All-round experience – Combat, exploration, roleplaying, social encounters and magical places. Get a taste of everything applied to the system of Daggerheart, and find out how it works for you! ✨ Whimsy - Although the campaign is short, the city of Hush and its inhabitants carry a certain whimsy and magic within them, making them fun personalities to engage with, so the session aims to be fun and light-hearted. ⏳ No Prep One Shot - You don't need to do any work; just show up to the game, and I'll teach all the rules and offer characters. Just sit down, learn the game, play a session and we're done! 🐣 Kid Friendly - Sablewood Messengers's only heavy themes are the inclusion of Undeads and Violence. The undeads can be easily re-skinned to something more friendly, and the combat can be quirky and silly if needed. Other than that, it's magic, fairies and songs! # In-Depth Campaign Structure Designed with beginners in mind, Sablewood Messengers is often called the Quickstart. It was released alongside Daggerheart as a free content to help players get into the game easily. It's a single session which includes explaining the game, going through two possible combats, and social encounters with a magical city and a quirky fairy grandma, with a lot of room for players and characters to interact and become closer throughout their travel. Characters are included in the module, and they have a suggestion of how they connect already included in their backgrounds, as well as questions prepared to help players strengthen these bonds. The game's rules are very simple, and can be explained within an hour. # Preparing For The Session You'll need accounts on Roll20 and Discord. No character creation needed! Characters will be provided at the start of the session! Payment and scheduling is done through [StartPlaying.Games](http://StartPlaying.Games) # About Me! Hey there! I'm Erick, and I have been a regular RPG player since 2015, but I've been involved in the world of RPGs and have been a fan since I was a little kid, when my brother used to GM for me. I'm a big fan of game design in general; so I also enjoy creating content and tweaking the rules as needed. I've played a few other systems, but D&D 5th Edition is my favorite by far. RPGs are my favorite hobby, and I believe they have immense narrative, rational and therapeutic value. I am happy to teach newcomers and engage with veterans alike. Although I embrace heavy themes and take the narrative itself seriously within the game, our communion as writers and players is something very light and comfortable for me. We'll use battlemaps for all scenes that include a scuffle, and mostly use theater of the mind for the rest of the scenes; although I do share the images that I use as reference for locations, when there are any. We'll use music to set the vibe as we play, as well as some sound effects, all integrated within Roll20. I got a firm grasp of the rules, and I am lax with them, trying to create a flow on scenes, without losing balance. Preparing to play on the 17th, 19th and 23rd of October, depending on your preference! CAMPAIGN FRAME: Beneath The Neon Sky Pitch: New Horizon City stands tall amongst the powers of the new world in its shining towers, luxury districts, and dense population. But beneath its surface lies an underworld ruled not by elected officials or some governing body, but by various gangs and criminal organizations. Ones whose influence touch every corner of the city. The wealthy and powerful have long intermingled their fortunes with organized crime and as a direct result, created a place where favors carry debt, where every street is claimed, and the citizens are caught in the struggle between rival factions vying for control. In a Beneath The Neon Sky campaign, you'll play street level people navigating the dangerous web of gang politics, criminal enterprises, and ever shifting alliances that shape daily life within the city. It doesn't matter if you're chasing money, power, revenge, or just trying to survive another day. You'll quickly learn that the city has two important lessons. There are no heroes. (Ad will say $5 per session but it will be free) Bi-weekly / Saturday - 2:00 PM CDT.  Sign up here A fortune lies hidden somewhere beneath Waterdeep, and every power in the city wants it. Masked nobles whisper behind velvet curtains. Criminal guilds stalk the alleys. Watchful spirits haunt old rooms. This is a cinematic Daggerheart campaign inspired by Waterdeep: Dragon Heist, rebuilt for dramatic character choices, faction intrigue, urban mystery, and fast-moving fantasy adventure. No Daggerheart experience is required. We will learn through play, with guided character creation and a Session 0 to establish characters, tone, safety tools, and party connections. Expect: Urban mystery and investigation Heists, secrets, and dangerous bargains Tavern ownership and colorful NPCs Faction politics and moral choices Dramatic combat when blades finally come out Character backstories woven into the city This game is best for players who enjoy roleplay, mystery, social encounters, clever problem-solving, and cinematic fantasy danger. Your choices will decide who becomes an ally, who becomes an enemy, and who deserves the gold when the vault is finally found.
