Description

I have been working for 15 years on a world setting, and for 5 years on a system, on and off in my spare time. It is finally time to test it out in a full campaign. Mid to high fantasy setting (black powder weapons do exist) Single Die system, everything is decided with a d20 with no extra rolls required. Looking for 3-5 players to participate once a week in a long campaign (shooting for multiple months or longer if everyone is having a good time and the system holds up) Classless-ish system highly customizable characters with players being able to use a template to design abilities. Will most likely use MapTools for the Campaign. Players Guide Available. Map Available. Further information available of course if there is interest. Hope all good luck and high rolls in all their endeavors, and hopefully at least a few of you are willing to give something new a shot.

robloxia: the tales of time

Homebrew
House rules, a custom setting, or a system the Game Master wrote themselves.
Newbie friendly
New players are welcome, and nobody expects you to know the rules beforehand.
A mysterious catastrophe has scattered the 50 Weapons of Calamity across Robloxia. Each relic was forged long ago upon the legendary Heights, each carrying incredible power—and a dangerous cost. Left unchecked, these weapons could reshape kingdoms… or destroy them. You are not a legendary hero. You’re an ordinary Robloxian who has become mysteriously connected to figures from Robloxia’s ancient past. That connection grants you just enough willpower to wield the Calamity Weapons without immediately falling victim to their corrupting influence—but every relic still tests the resolve of its wielder. Guided by the admin Shedletsky, you’ll journey through a world inspired by classic Roblox, exploring jungles, frozen sanctuaries, ancient kingdoms, haunted mansions, forgotten temples, underwater civilizations, and places that should never have existed. Every chapter centers around recovering a unique relic while uncovering the history of the guardian who once wielded it and the hope they left behind. But you’re not the only one searching. Someone is always one step ahead. Wherever you arrive, traces of another relic hunter remain: repaired bridges, abandoned camps, cryptic notes, impossible acts of mercy, and stories from those who crossed their path. Some call them a thief. Others claim they’re a savior. No one can agree on why they’re collecting the relics—or what they’re trying to prevent. Your choices matter. Kingdoms can be saved or abandoned. Guardians can be redeemed or lost. Entire chapters change depending on the decisions your party makes, and the consequences of those choices echo throughout the campaign. Robloxia: the tales of time is a story-driven D&D campaign focused on exploration, memorable boss fights, powerful legendary relics, difficult moral decisions, and uncovering one of Robloxia’s greatest mysteries. Sometimes, saving the world isn’t about becoming stronger. Sometimes… …it’s about giving people a reason to keep hoping. "im sorry... if it means that this world can go on... then I'll see it through."

Amalgam

Combat focused
Fights, tactics and initiative take up most of the table time.
I'm looking for a DM who takes requests or is looking to learn by using an existing homebrew world for a group with six players. I have a game world already mostly put together that I used as a DM but would like to take from the player's side in this instance, the game is an amalgam of various existing nerd culture franchises such as Star Wars, Marvel, DC and anime where the characters and lore exist simultaneously and always have which create a unique setting rich with possibilities for the players to adventure and explore. We live in the Pacific Northwest but having an online DM who lives elsewhere but connects online is totally welcome, looking forward to hearing from you and having fun with you soon! Please DM me if you want more details.

The Lucid Abyss

West Marches / Living World
One world and a big pool of players, but no fixed party - whoever signs up that week is who plays.
Homebrew
House rules, a custom setting, or a system the Game Master wrote themselves.
Lucid Abyss is being rebuilt and revived as a persistent, multi-DM Underworld RPG. The original Lucid Abyss was a free Discord-based persistent-world RPG. I am trying to rebuild the project back after nearly 3 years, rebuilding its foundation from scratch, and developing it toward a professionally operated, persistent world. This is not a traditional D&D campaign and there is no prewritten adventure waiting to be run aside from the decided world boss. I want this project to become a premium server with a live, and engagement-driven community. The goal is a living world where multiple DMs operate within the same persistent setting, players make their own choices, and those choices create lasting consequences. 🜏 WHAT WE'RE BUILDING The rebuilt Lucid Abyss will use a curated combination of: • Underworld Races & Classes • Sandy Petersen's Cthulhu Mythos • The Psychic & Spiritual Handbook • The appropriate 5e class framework Core 5e races will remain excluded due to the unique setting circumstances, as well as the higher power scaling. There are already so many available races that having too many could complicate the narrative generation for story content. Many also share large similarities to other core races. (Don't worry, humans are still around with a twist lol) Subclasses will be curated from the setting material, rather than automatically allowing everything available in every core or homebrew source. There are enough unique base classes and subclasses to cover the game mechanics many times over. We're building a single game environment where their strongest ideas can coexist without cluttering the mechanical and racial pool. ⚙️ WHY WE NEED PROJECT LEADERS The revival has reached the point where the project needs people who can take ownership of major systems. We're looking for leaders for: UNDERWORLD SYSTEMS Underworld races, classes, subclasses, racial interactions, environmental mechanics, crafting, equipment, and balance. CTHULHU MYTHOS Mythos races, subclasses, dread, insanity, Dreamlands, formulas, Mythos magic, cults, and related systems. PSYCHIC / SPIRITUAL SYSTEMS Psychic powers, power points, possession, dreams, spirit mechanics, psychic conditions, and interactions with other systems. PERSISTENT-WORLD SYSTEMS Economy, crafting, downtime, travel, death, resurrection, information, factions, resources, and long-term world consequences. DM OPERATIONS Creating consistent standards so multiple DMs can run the same world without contradictory rulings, duplicated consequences, or different interpretations of the same mechanics. 🧠 WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR You don't need to be an expert in everything. We're looking for people with genuine experience in areas such as: • D&D 5e • Homebrew design • Game balance • Persistent-world RPGs • Discord RPG administration • Worldbuilding • DMing • Economy/system design • Community management • Horror / Mythos • Psionics / supernatural systems • Rules documentation Most importantly, you should be able to analyze systems, recognize unintended interactions, document decisions, and work with other leaders. 🎭 THE CAMPAIGN PHILOSOPHY The world boss is delegated amongst the appropriate project leaders and changes as players defeat them. No mandatory quest chain. World progression and story progression pressures players in a rewarding way for an active, dedicated, and plot-interested player economy. The world has its own conditions, factions, dangers, resources, and ongoing events. Players determine where the campaign goes as the DM implements the subject field. Adaptation and dungeon master versatility are the most important pieces for a living world. The DM team crafts their own stories in the sub-categories aligned with the decided world-structure. Mythos, and metaphysical lore can be a potential candy land for storytelling. The world boss is intended to be complementary to the DM's story, and high intensity is encouraged as this is a high power level setting. 📋 INTERESTED IN JOINING THE REVIVAL? Copy/paste and fill this out: Discord Name: Leadership Role: Relevant Experience: Primary Area of Expertise: What I Can Contribute: Previous Projects/Campaigns: Availability: Anything Else: We're currently building the leadership structure for the revival. If you want to help bring Lucid Abyss back and have a meaningful role in building what it becomes, this is the stage to get involved. 🜏
