D&D. DM is looking for the players (16-18+)

Homebrew
House rules, a custom setting, or a system the Game Master wrote themselves.
Roleplay focused
Conversation, character and story take up most of the table time.
Weekdays only, a group decides on day & time Most people will probably play between 16:00 – 21:00 (GMT+0) Will be played in Discord voice chat, "Theatre of the Mind" playstyle (means no VTT) My Discord (weebseatshit) *PREMISE* You are dragged into a dangerous encounter together with other unlucky ones. Now you are bonded whether you want it or not. Since you are a witness, some people want you dead, watch your back(s) & trust no one It's an RP-focused, Forgotten Realms based, custom (homebrew) campaign with an emphasis on story, characters & adventures Ratio: 40 Roleplay/40 Exploration/20 Combat Starting level is 1, standard array for abilities Spells become cantrips, you can cast them without components or GP Some spells that affect game's balance & world, may be forbidden. It'll be discussed Instead of HP you have healthbars, & you don't know how big are your enemies healthbars Healthbars are rather "cinematic". Depending from how much dmg you receive, i'll adjust your condition. But in general: 6 HP: Sorcerer, Wizard 8 HP: Bard, Cleric, Druid, Monk, Rogue, Warlock 10 HP: Fighter, Paladin, Ranger 12 HP: Barbarian Only these races are allowed: Human, Elf (Moon, Wood), Dwarf, Goliath, Tiefling (Purple, Pink, Blue), Tystling (a human with cat ears (& eyes)) Artificer & Psion aren't allowed I'll describe locations & looks with little to no detail Just like with the books, i'd prefer that every player imagined their own stuff (& because there may be an info that player may not get or just ignore) A tystling is similar to a cat Monochrome darkvision Enhanced senses: smell, hearing, vision, touch & balance Soft step: walking is almost noiseless (unless a tystling has something noisy on), running is slightly quieter comparing to other races A tystling is shorter than an elf, but taller than a dwarf A tystling is slim like an elf, but lighter than an elf, with smaller muscles. That makes a tystling even more agile & dexterous than an elf, but it's very hard for a tystling to lift or carry medium heavy things

Akkra: The Phaselands [5.5e]

Newbie friendly
New players are welcome, and nobody expects you to know the rules beforehand.
TLDR: I run a group on Thursdays and a separate group on Mondays. Thursday's group had a player drop, so fresh blood is needed. The Campaign is ~25 sessions in. We're looking for someone that likes roleplay and doesn't mind joining a campaign in progress. Imgur (Hook, World Map) <- Read me! Description: Set in a war-torn land where old alliances are barely remembered and new friends are hard to trust, the players are a rag-tag group of survivors attempting to mend the ties of the nation and unravel a plot that would seal its fate. Explore a sandbox dark world with never before seen eras of history, lore, books, races, factions and locations. The structure of the world itself seems unstable and something seeps trough the cracks. Akkra is a low-magic setting with spellcasters being prosecuted by a zealous religious order. Its rulers and leaders are few, untrusting and have a guarded approach to outsiders. What’s left of the Kingdom suffers, its borders crumble and outside invasion is only a matter of time. While there is a main plot laid out, and quite a few ready adventures within Akkra, just begging to be stumbled over and followed, Akkra is also built up from the ground to be a completely Free-roam Sandbox where the players can do just about anything they want, and of course, suffer the consequences. GM: I've been playing and DMing on and off since 2014. Experience Required: None. New players and Veterans both welcome. The game will be geared towards newer players if needed. System: D&D-5e-2024 & 2014 (Homebrew allowed - if discussed.) Current Level: 4 Player Count: 4 Session 0: Will be a 1on1 introduction to Akkra, my DMing style, and if needed; D&D5e and FoundryVTT. -------------------------- Schedule: Bi-weekly - Thursday 18:30 CET, Expected runtime: 3-4 hours. Play as many sessions as it takes to get to level 13. Where: Foundry VTT, Discord for voice. Content Warnings: Gore, Horror, Body Horror, Hopelessness, Claustrophobia, Religious Parallels, Death, War, Potential Others (Content will be discussed in Session 0) Age Restriction: 18+ Homebrew: Potentially allowed, but must be discussed beforehand. (5e 2014 content is allowed (even preferred), but not officially supported) -------------------------- How to apply: MSG me 🎯

6 players looking for a DM

Roleplay focused
Conversation, character and story take up most of the table time.
LGBTQ+ friendly
The table is openly welcoming to LGBTQ+ players.
Hello DMs! We are 6 players looking for a Dungeon Master for a RP-focused game. We're hoping for a game set in Exandria but we're open for anything. Most of us are fairly experienced with some room to learn. We're really hoping for a game in which we can enjoy tons of chaos, rp, challenging combats and most importantly, a good story to collaborate in! It should also be clear that this is very much an ANTI-AI zone. We don't want any AI used in the game! We are all in the 20-30 age range and hoping for someone within that range! An experienced DM is preferred, but it's also alright if you're more newer to DMing. We just want someone who's familiar enough with the 5.5e rules! Of course, we will having our game over on Discord as well. We'll go through a interview process to get vibe checks and make sure everyone gets along! Please DM me if interested, let's roll some dice! :) System: D&D 5.5e with D&D Beyond Sheets VTT: Roll20, Foundry

The Tales of Cambiamento

Homebrew
House rules, a custom setting, or a system the Game Master wrote themselves.
Roleplay focused
Conversation, character and story take up most of the table time.
About the story 6 years. That's how long the war between your home country Cambiamento and The Empire of Stasti took. 6 cruelin years of lost, brutality and the fight for your freedom. Lead by your new king, King Abruzzo, who had dethroned the old queen, Queen Vittoria, you sought to find peace within your border again, that had be oppressed by The Empire for over two centuries. And then four years ago you finally achieved just that. Queen Vittoria was hanged and The Empire agreed to free Cambiamento from its grip. Four years ago you, who had fought as a group for so long, said each other's farewell. Thinking that you could finally learn how to live again, how to use your new earned freedom. None of you ever thought to see each other again. Four years have passed both quickly and way too slow. And just as you thought you had fought your way back into normalcy a letter arrived. The sender? The Royal House of Cambiamento. About the campaign  Welcome to Cambiamento, a complete homebrew campaign! Being set in the vast world of Possblità, you play as a group of soldiers who are just trying to find your way back into life. But with the letter of the king that doesn't seem to be as easy as you thought. I'm trying to make this a long term campaign where your characters and their choices matter. Especially looking for people who are more interested in RP and exploration than combat. And ofc looking for people who are LGBTQIA+ friendly. Lines and veils  All sorts of Triggers can occur except for anything relating extreme gore and spiders, as well as depiction of SA, violence against children or animals.  About the DM Hello, I'm Marco and 24 y/o. I'm a forever DM living in Germany and I have just enough time for yet another campaign. I'm a transman with severe ADHD so expect me to be really focused on preparing sessions. Outside of that I'm also really into games, folklore and everything true crime related c: I'm excited to meet you!

Where Paths Converge

Homebrew
House rules, a custom setting, or a system the Game Master wrote themselves.
Newbie friendly
New players are welcome, and nobody expects you to know the rules beforehand.
This is a beginner friendly and open campaign where the players get to decide on what they want to do whilst playing.  The world lore revolves around the dead 3, which are the 3 gods that share the throne of death after the old god of the dead resigned. The world has and will slowly become worse and worse off whilst the dead 3 fight for power in the material plane. Additionally I am trying to have a kind of psychological horror feeling when in comes to this campaign  We play for around 3-4 hours, often with a short break and every session starts at 8pm cet, or to be very specific, Swedish time. We use a discord channel for verbal communication during our sessions and it also works for keeping notes, recaps and just general hanging out with the other players outside of sessions If you're interested, please send me a short message request, maybe a short description of you: pronouns, age and most importantly how you are as a player. And when I see your message I will accept and give you my discord username for continued contact and in order to add you to our server channel If this campaign isn't for you, I wish you the best of luck finding one you want to and can join, have a wonderful day/night! ❤️

Tales of Acaridian: Moth to a Flame

Homebrew
House rules, a custom setting, or a system the Game Master wrote themselves.
Adult
The table is for players who are 18 or over.
Moth to a Flame — A D&D Campaign The first act of The Tales of Acaridian Wrath has ruptured amongst an elder reality, destroying everything and bleeding its corruption into ours. Acaridian is a simple world of fantasy but not at the mercy of its own chaos. We are set in the desert of Anibuah, a land of dune and scorching rays of heat and herds of vicious monsters, the land is threatened by orcs and elementals as the dragons slumber begins to break from chains beneath, a titan that must remain sealed and now our party is here in search for a lost relic, one which may prevent the titan from awakening, but first they must find the hall of judgement, where the elder god Judge had imprisoned Diablo the dragon titan of ages.. Moth to a Flame focuses heavily on: Exploration with rich worldbuilding, deep lore, high fantasy, cosmic horror and meaningful character progression. Evolving combats and boss encounters, as well as cosmic wonders and chances, the bigger the parties influence, the stronger the enemies. This campaign has a unique Homebrew Rune System, using charts to grant creatures runes based on words forming their own unique element with its own rarity and authority over other rune power. Runes is a massive concept for the Acaridian Series and is a great way to explore creativity. I use homebrew feats to impliment abilities and google docs for stats, its simple but it can be a little overwhelming at first, but trust me once your in the flow, its amazing. Important notes: We are LGBTQ+ friendly but we aren't sensitive friendly, if your not a fan of loudness, dark humor, etc, then i do not suggest you join our group Age span would prefer between 18-30 years old (Can make exceptions for older) I would prefer all members to have a flexible schedule for if we ever need to change dates, but mostly for when we decide to extend sessions We do NSFW themed roleplays and encounters, so if your not comfortable with that mixed with some dark fantasy, then please for your sake don't join haha Preferably be good at speaking english clearly And lastly, be able to operate dnd beyond, owlbear rodeo, and talk in call on discord The Session Times: AEST UTC+10 Saturday and Sunday 9:30am-1:30pm In CST time i believe thats 6:30pm-10:30pm on Fridays and Saturdays Thank you so much for taking the time to read my post! have a great day adventurer.

Dnd 5e Crooked Moon

We are running a campaign of Crooked Moon and are pretty early in the campaign.  The setting is kind of dark and folk horror themed.  We just lost one member and have an opening for 1 or maybe 2 more players.  It is a pretty casual game and I am a pretty new DM.  I've run multiple oneshots but this is my first campaign.  New players are welcome!

DORCS Gaming Group

Newbie friendly
New players are welcome, and nobody expects you to know the rules beforehand.
LGBTQ+ friendly
The table is openly welcoming to LGBTQ+ players.
Adult Player Wanted for Light Hearted, One Shot–Focused TTRPG Group We’re looking to add adult players to our long running, relaxed gaming group! Experience is absolutely not required—just bring curiosity, a willingness to join in, and a sense of humor. What We Play We play a wide range of systems and genres—classic fantasy quests, chaotic goblin nonsense, supernatural westerns, sci fi mysteries, and plenty more.   Our group leans toward short adventures and one shots rather than long campaigns. It keeps things fresh, lets everyone try new characters and playstyles, and avoids long term commitment burnout.   We do play D&D 5.5e the most, but we love trying new systems. Our Vibe We keep things light, fun, and low pressure. No rules lawyering, no perfectionism—just a bunch of adults hanging out and having a good time. • Mechanics stay simple and easy to grasp (rules are a guide) • Bold risks and silly ideas are encouraged (let’s see how we can make that happen) • Romance fades to black • Gore stays reasonable (…though someone did carry around a decapitated head once) • We respect everyone’s triggers (one player is terrified of spiders) Inclusivity Matters We are proudly LGBTQIA+ friendly and want players who feel the same. We do not tolerate homophobia, transphobia, racism, or sexism. We also avoid political debates—this is a space to relax, not stress. When & Where Every other Saturday 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. EST We play on Zoom and use dndbeyond.com when playing D&D. Want to Join Us? Check out our website to learn more: DORCS.US If the vibe feels right, reach out—we’d love to chat with you on Zoom and see if we’re a good fit.

There are no stars, only heroes! Welcome! We will be running a long-term hybrid homebrew 5e D&D campaign and writing project which will eventually be published online weekly called Pinnacle (stylized ?innacle), with two available slots open! Our five-person group is tight-knit and we are hoping for friends rather than casual players that leave right after sessions. It will be strictly done on Discord in text format Monday or Tuesday evenings from 7:30 PM - 10 PM EST. It will also be a collaborative effort, with an emphasis on player participation in both world-building and consequent lore. The campaign will be split into alternating arcs: one taking place in the past and one in the present!  We have a compendium, timeline and calendar with some guidelines on the in-game universe constructed so far along with a few requirements for applying: - Must be 25+, LGBTQIA+ inclusive  - Lives on U.S. East Coast - No use of AI tolerated - Be very comfortable with improvisation and collaboration - Engaged and committed to the experience through participation beyond during sessions - Experienced in and leans towards a more RP-heavy style - Extensive reading comprehension skills - Previous D&D experience (not a dealbreaker) - Lean towards more cerebral/thought provoking themes and clues  Perks will include tons of art of your character, printed books, shirts and more! We will be asking for a filled out form for a potential character in the campaign. To be considered, you must integrate official lore or your application will be disregarded. The more creative, the better!  Please consider the following too when creating this character:   - In a meta-sense, they will be regarded in present part of the campaign as a legendary hero in the campaign-titular guild Pinnacle. - The environment is resource-scarce due to desertification and has led to intense competitiveness and individuality. Well-knit communities not based on economic drive are rare. - The party currently consists of a tiefling bard, human cleric, half sea-genasi/half sea-elf paladin and a high-elf sorcerer. Do not try to min-max or optimize your role for the team as it’s all about the story. - Lore comes first so do not worry about stats or a character sheet yet! Upon advancing, we will be holding an additional phase where we will be doing a one-shot campaign to see how you mesh with the other players in the group and the DM style. Good luck and feel free to shoot me a message if you are willing to read the material and fill out the form. We are aware this will be a lengthy process but hopefully a fun and fulfilling exercise for any interested! ❤️

The Land Forbade

Homebrew
House rules, a custom setting, or a system the Game Master wrote themselves.
Roleplay focused
Conversation, character and story take up most of the table time.
I'm looking for 4 players for a homebrew dark fantasy game. I already have 1 player so this will bring the group size to 5. A hundred years have passed since the end of a great war known as the God Hunt. When mortals rose to defy the gods. Angered by the realization that mankind could now slay them, the Gods laid siege to the world below them twisting and altering the lands forever. In the end it would not save them and as the pantheon fell, We were left to deal with the consequences of destroying our makers. With the gods gone there was nothing standing in front of the darkness that longs to dominate the world. Even as oppressors the gods were our protectors. The world has become hostile to life itself. As the dark miasma slowly contaminated the forests humanity retreated inside its castle walls. Only fortified settlements had a chance to keep the darkness at bay. Many villages fell to what now dwells in the dark. And communication between cities grinded to a halt. For many years venturing too deep into the dark forests meant certain doom. The man power required to safely traverse between settlements was too large to justify frequent trips. The night is too dangerous to stay in one place for long. Making it most efficient to bring enough men and carriages for round the clock travel. This wouldn’t last, we needed a better way to make communication and trade viable again. That’s when a breakthrough was made. Someone found a way to distil from the miasma in the woods an elixir that would heighten the senses and best of all stave off the need for sleep. However this did nothing to reduce the danger in the forests, only to allow smaller groups of capable people to quickly traverse between settlements. There was now a need for people that could handle themselves in a fight and survive the trek through the lands. The Traveler system was born to answer this need. That’s where you come in. You are a Traveler, you are one of the few that are strong enough to survive the world outside the walls. Whatever your reason for choosing this life. You now face deadly encounters and the remnants of a world once bright with life but now dark and unwelcoming. *Please hold off on character creation until we have time to chat and get a feel for each other. it will be better to make a character tailored to this game rather than coming in with a built character sheet. I will be running the game on discord, i plan on keeping the game theatre of the mind but may explore a VTT in the future. we will be using DND beyond for character sheets as well. Please have a decent mic for discord and a stable internet connection. no phones or tablets should be used for the discord call. If you are interested send me a message and i can answer any questions you have. we can also set up a time to chat. **please be aware that I am looking for a more serious tone for the campaign, I'd like for the characters to be grounded and feel like people. This is not the place for meme/joke characters. It is also important that you be willing to engage in conversation. No lone wolf or shy characters that refuse to talk. These are hard rules so if you feel you cannot adhere to them this not the game for you.

No paid games
On a player profile - you are looking for free games and are not interested in paid ones.
-Hello, I'm Demon. the short to this is, I have made this post to find anyone that wishes to play D&D, the number of players seen is how many peaple are in the dicord group. - we currently have me and 2 others player, and a number of other that wanted to check out the Discord -the schedule is Saturdays after 7:30pm CDT Bi-weekly at the moment.  -I figured if we can get 5 people (me included), and each of us take turns doing one shots, until we figure out who we want as a DM. I'll be doing the first one at least. and maybe we all can take turns DMing the campain if we like that Idea.  -This would let new players figure out, a bit more of the game. if I get more experienced players that's fine, I only wish that you do not call out the newer player for things they do not know, Me included. I can't say I'm new, nor can I say I'm experienced. I know some things but can't juggle the DM part of things vary well, so I would like to be a player, or play with other players who are new and are willing to learn to play with me. -this is a way to help connect other players with other players, and allow other players to see what DM's have to do as well as enjoy learning and making mistakes, after all we all make them, and the rule books are just a guide to play, we can easly make up are own rules as a group, as long as every one is ok with the rules, but we should stick close to the rule of the book so things don't get to overpowered.  -I would prefer 18+ group, however I understand new players may not be, there for I will exept any age at this time. -I may be willing to Draw art for the members, but I only ask if you want it please be patient with me, I'm not a fast drawer. I can also do Ai art if you want, but I think hand drawn art is more unique.

LFG 2-3 Players 2-3 Hour Campaign Tuesdays (DND5E) (Looking for 2-3 players to fill out a party of 2 already, if more people are interested, we will have an interview/session 0 so everyone can get the vibe of everyone, etc.) A notice hangs crookedly outside a crowded tavern in the town you are located. The parchment is new, the bloodstain across its corner isn't. TO SELLSWORDS, SEEKERS, SCHOLARS, FOOLS, AND THOSE WITH NOTHING LEFT TO LOSE: Three hundred and twenty-seven years ago, the Kingdom of Valdyr vanished. Its cities remain standing. Its ships remain in their harbors. Gold still rests inside abandoned vaults, and weapons belonging to dead kings still hang upon forgotten walls. Yet of the men, women, and children who once called Valdyr home, not one was ever found. For three centuries, the mountains kept their secret. Until now. An earthquake has opened the old road, and beyond it lies a kingdom untouched for generations. Already, men have entered poor, and returned rich. Others have returned screaming. Most haven't returned at all. A settlement called Blackgate now stands at the mouth of the pass, filled with treasure hunters, mercenaries, archaeologists, priests, thieves, merchants, and every other bastard convinced they'll be the one to uncover Valdyr's secrets. Expeditions are leaving Blackgate every morning. Bring a weapon. Bring someone you trust. And if you find yourself wondering whether you've gone too far into Valdyr... you probably have. — Expeditions inquire within. Hey everyone! I'm looking for players for a new D&D campaign: The Lost Kingdom of Valydr. This is going to be a dark-fantasy exploration campaign built around discovering a completely lost kingdom. Think treasure hunting + fantasy gold rush + archaeological mystery + survival horror, with the campaign getting progressively stranger and darker the deeper you travel into Valdyr. You're adventurers who came to Blackgate because something about Valdyr called to you. Maybe you're here for money. Maybe you're an archaeologist trying to solve the greatest mystery in history. Maybe you're chasing someone who disappeared on an earlier expedition. Maybe the church sent you. Maybe you're a criminal looking for one enormous score. Maybe you just want to see what's beyond the mountains. The campaign will be heavily focused on exploration, character roleplay, dangerous expeditions, discovering ancient locations, faction relationships, monsters, treasure, and slowly piecing together what actually happened to Valdyr 327 years ago. The world will react to what you discover. Things you bring back can change Blackgate. Factions can become allies or enemies. Rival adventuring parties will be exploring Valdyr alongside you. And there will absolutely be moments where you'll have to decide whether that unopened door is worth risking the entire expedition for. This will be a longer-form campaign, but will be a little short on duration. System: D&D Campaign: The Lost Kingdom of Valydr Day: Tuesdays Time: <t:1789515000:F> (3 Hour sessions) Tone: Dark Fantasy / Adventure / Mystery / Archaeological Horror Focus: Exploration, roleplay, combat, discovery, player choice, and consequences You don't need to have your entire character figured out before joining. We can work together on characters and find a reason your adventurer has come to Blackgate. All I really ask is that you make someone who wants to explore and who has a reason to keep pushing when every sensible person would turn around. Hopefully this is something you are into, love yall.

Hoard of the Dragon Queen

I am looking to start a new long-term group to run through the Hoard of the Dragon Queen and potentially beyond. This portion of the post is normally where I sell the campaign module. But Hoard of the Dragon Queen is already pretty famous, so suffice it to say- There will be adventure, there will be dungeons and there inevitably WILL BE DRAGONS! We will be playing in person at my house, using miniatures and wargaming terrain. I live near 1-25 and Eisenhower Blvd in Loveland. Game night will be determined by the group but game time will be roughly 530 to 830/9pm. My schedule is flexible and can accommodate a weeknight or weekend schedule. My house is a non-smoking environment, so feel free to smoke/puff before you show up. If you want to have a few beers while we play, thats fine. But i try to keep drinking to a 2 drink minimum since people getting tanked at the table is a problem. Also, I have 2 dogs, so if you are allergic this might not be the game for you.    I'm 42 year old dude and ive been dming games since 2014. I will admit I am not the best role-player, so do not expect a Matt Mercer or Brennan Lee Mulligan performance. The dice come out in every session, and I lean more heavily into combat than i do role-playing. I prefer players that are driven, and want to achieve things in the game. I also think the most important player quality is attendance. People missing games and cancelling is the #1 reason games die off.    I prefer to stick with the standard PHB races. For classes and subclasses, I am ok with homebrew, but it will need to be approved and if I have a problem with whatever it is, we will try to rework it before I say it's not going to work.    I also homebrew enemy stat blocks heavily. If you are the type of person who has memorized the entire monster manual and will become upset when the enemies use spells and abilities that aren't in the book, this is not the game for you.    The Hoard of the Dragon Queen is one of the first modules ever released for 5th Edition, and it is a bit rough around the corners. I'll be making some edits to the module, mostly to make the game more enjoyable to run and to play.    The characters will be starting at level 1, and the group will decide if we roll for stats or if we use the standard array.    There's always tons of stuff i forget to write during a LFG post, so if you have questions feel free to reply, message me directly, or feel free to hit me up on discord- biossecond

Hey all! I'm looking to join a group of 5e/5.5e that plays during the daytimes - I have work during evenigns and oftentimes cant play when most groups will be. I'm hoping to join as a player, as I spent too much time worldbuilding and GMing recently, so looking for a new perspective! I'm an experienced player of 2.5-3 years with a few systems, always looking to expand my horizons.  Happy to run a module, but also excited to dig into a homebrew world or campaign the GM comes up with! An LGBTQ+ friendly group is prerferred.  A group that plays on any day between 10am and 4pm BST/GMT is preferred.

Looking for 1 player to join a long running group

Welcome to our game! We are an open and affirming 🏳️‍🌈 group looking to fill out our regular, weekly dnd 2024 5e game. You would be joining our existing game of five players. We play weekly on Wednesdays from 8:30 PM to 11:30PMish Eastern Time. Our Rules We play 2024 Dungeons and Dragons 5e in a world which we have built and will continue to build together. We are flexible with the rules, adjusting them to make the game more fun and removing the rules we find less fun. While we have been playing dnd for decades, we have a series of house rules to make the game more interesting, and we may need to make adjustments once we go along. Our Game Here are some details about our game, to help you decide if you think we would be a good fit: - We favor roleplay over tactics, doing what our characters would most likely do, rather than what tactically makes the most sense. - We split the time between roleplay and combat about 50%/50%, with some sessions being entirely story driven without any fighting. - We do not do dungeon crawls. We do not recommend min-maxing, instead building the character to help tell the story. - Fights can and will likely be dangerous, and character death is a possibility (but death does not always mean the end of the story!) - We favor teamwork over individualism. If your instinct is to run off and do your own thing when you get to town, you will not likely fit in well with this game. We want to play with each other, and want to help develop each others’ stories. Our World In our next campaign, we will be playing in a game based on the Dungeon Crawler Carl books. This will not be a massive dungeon crawl. The focus will be on story development, puzzles, interesting NPCs and determining how you would interact with them. The story will be: your character is from the current, real world and you have been forced into this massive dungeon to survive. You will start human and have a chance to become something else, as well as earn a class as we play. This game will add additional, custom elements to the game to make it more interesting and give more options for players as they figure out how to survive the dungeon. About you - To fit in, you need to be an open minded player who favors fun over everything else, not just yours but everyone's. - You are welcoming, accepting and supportive of all types of people. - You are a team player and are comfortable sharing the spotlight, and enjoy when others have the opportunity to shine. - You are comfortable putting the needs of the group above your own, and sometimes being outvoted. - You are comfortable with the use of safety tools, and prepared to respect others preferences and boundaries. - You can come weekly regularly, are reliable and timely - You love Dungeons and Dragons and other TTRPGs and are excited to play every week on a regular basis. - You are comfortable with technology and digital tools. - Our tools and platforms have shifted over the years, and sometimes we shift based on the decisions of the tool’s corporate controllers. - Currently, we use zoom for video calls, discord for our chat, and a combination of different VTTs, (Favorites right now are Foundry and Shard). Interested? If you are interested, please fill out this google form to let us know, and we will reach out soon to schedule time to meet with some or all of our players:  https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdlloJaAOY9_rtYEroB-e4ipKQ8FAVfx_uaAcbjn9WAS0UUzw/viewform

House rules, a custom setting, or a system the Game Master wrote themselves.
LGBTQ+ friendly
The table is openly welcoming to LGBTQ+ players.
Hello hello! I am Matthew. I am a new DM building a homebrew world, and I want your help filling in its history. Before my main campaign begins, I am running a series of one-shots set in "Year 0". This is when an apocalyptic cataclysm nearly ends the world. The future campaign will be set centuries afterward. This post is for a specific prequel one-shot for a party of four bards. AND you as the player ideally have an instrument to RP with and maybe play poorly. When? I run my business from home and have a family, so M-F during the day works best. These one-shots will take place Tuesday through Thursday, between 9:00am and 2:00pm Central time (chicago area). If you work from home, work nights, or live in a time zone where this is your evening, this table is for you! What is it? You will play level 6 bards surviving the chaos of a larger conflict. You may be "just" bards, but together you can make a real difference in this harried, crumbling world. All of this happens under the shadow of the First King, whose mysterious sacrifice during this era saves the realm but curses his bloodline forever. Legacy? Yup If you survive, I have a "Fortune & Fate" roll planned to help determine your character's epilogue. Though you will have plenty of creative control over their outcomes. My particular hope with this one-shot is to establish a few bards as local heroes of sorts. And in the epilogue and leading into the future campaign, these bards and their instruments will be cherished.

High Lords of Terra (5e/5.5e homebrew) (21+)

Homebrew
House rules, a custom setting, or a system the Game Master wrote themselves.
Roleplay focused
Conversation, character and story take up most of the table time.
Intro to Terra If you’re coming from Faerûn, think of Terra as a vast continent that used to feel like one big, functioning empire. A tradition of feudalism, with noble "High Lord" houses ruling over their regions. All offering allegiance to a central authority, the most powerful noble house, Arista, and crowned it's leader as the First Lord. So the Legend Goes At the dawn of this world, the Gods watched our people struggle to survive in an unforgiving world - Early settlements decimated by violent storms. Explorers slaughtered by ferocious beasts. To have a chance at survival, these benevolent Gods gifted the lands with powerful spirits. And for the inhabitants, an ability to bond with these spirits. As these lands were conquered, creatures brought over were quickly surpassed by Humans, who found they could tame and even command these spirits. For thousands of years, these settlers fought and struggled to secure as much power for themselves as possible. Anarchy, chaos, and endless bloodshed, with the most vulnerable most at risk. It was not until those wielding the most powerful elemental magic banded together that law and order was able to form. Rather than fighting each other, they spread across the lands in a uniform effort to end the violence. Forming what are now known to be the High Lords of Terra. These High Lords rallied behind the most powerful among them, First Lord of House Arista. For generations, there was peace among the world. Humans across Terra in harmony with one another and their spirit blessings, working together to build great cities, sprawling farmlands, relying on each other for protection. The Civil War starts... Nearly one hundred years ago, tragedy struck when the First Lord passed away, leaving behind two sons with competing claims to the throne. The older son, born of an illegitimate affair with the High Lady of House Kalara, vied for the throne against his younger brother, son to the First Lord's wife. The conflict immediately turned bloody amongst the High Lords. On one side stood the loyalists, supporting House Arista and the rightful heir to the throne as appointed by the King's betrothed. On the other stood the would be usurping traditionalists, who sought to uphold the laws of succession. They rallied behind House Kalara. Now, a century later, the realm remains divided, locked in a never-ending struggle for power and dominance. The loyalist houses of Teos, Retosia, and Pytion stand firm in their support of House Arista, while the traditionalist houses of Sultern, Rhodes, and Toria remain steadfast in their allegiance to House Kalara. As the conflict rages on, the fate of the realm hangs in the balance. One thing is certain - It cannot survive another century of civil war. A Forgotten Evil Stirs... While the realm is torn apart by war, a new shadow rises. Mysterious disappearances reported near the uninhabited forest. Legend of an undisturbed kingdom made of wax in it's center. Ghost stories of an ancient evil laying dormant... now waking up. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello! Looking to stretch myself and finally start a new table with a homebrew I've been putting together for a few years. Looking for players that are in a similar timezone (PST). I'm also a parent, so would be looking for evening sessions after kiddos are asleep (~7pm PST). The world's lore is loosely inspired by Jim Butcher's Codex Alera series, mashed together with Faerun. Familiarity with source material is not required or expected at all. Lore will be provided on this world, and the unique elemental powers ALL characters will have access to... With this world, there will be some restrictions on the Player Characters. All playable characters at this time will be Humans. Most classes are workable, though the system really lends itself to Martials/Half-Casters. I would highly recommend using one of those. I'm not a major Rules Lawyer, big believer in Rule-of-Cool and being adaptable. Improvising and leaning into the roleplay is where the magic happens. There will challenging, purposeful combat but not a meat-grinder style of a campaign. Getting the right dynamic is very important to me, so will definitely be intentional. Would also love some diversity (both in character and out of character) at the table. If this sounds interesting, please reach back out! Would be happy to discuss further and share more info on the lore to make sure it's a good fit. Regardless, best of luck to you on finding the right table. :) Cheers, Windy

A New Frontier. Dark High Fantasy homebrew-western

The Astrological Pontificate is an interconnection of planets under the rule of the theocratic order known as "The Gatekeepers". Travel between planets is only possible during extremely rare planetary alignments known as Conjunctions that only happens once every few century. After 327 years it is finally time for another conjuncture. In just a few hours all the planets of the Astrological Pontificate will align, opening up an opportunity for you to go off-world. You've been selected / volunteered to settle on Golgotha, a previously uninhabitied and desolate desert planet. The Gatekeepers sent out a small convoy to survey the planet in the last Conjuncture. The reports speak of the remnants of an ancient, cosmic war, and dunes littered with petrified skyscraper-sized skeletons of dead titans and aberrations. These bones contain crystallized marrow, a highly volatile magical battery that can power any machine for eons. For 327 years the powers that be has ben biding their time, waiting for this moment. Now it's a race against the clock, every political power in the Astrological Pontificate wants to get it's hands on the marrow. "He who controls the marrow, controls the Pontificate." Your part in this "Marrow-rush" is still uncertain. One thing is certain, what awaits you on the other side of the portal is a lawless, dangerous world with flora and fauna beyond your wildest comprehension. Will you join hands with a political faction? Attempt to overthrow the Gatekeepers? Form a posse of bandits who hide on the outskirts of civilization? Delve deep into the depths of Golgotha on the hunt for treasure and power? Hello, my name is Fredrik. I'm 28 years old and from Sweden. I don't have a lot of experience as a DM or with DnD. I'm looking for 3-4 players, preferably age 25+. Beginners are extra welcome as we can learn together, but I won't turn away seasoned roleplayers for that reason alone. This is a sandbox-style campaign, the more you put into it, the more you'll get in return. In session 0 we will create characters and figure out what your groups longtime goals will be. All official content, and some unofficial content available on DNDbeyond is available for the campaign. We will be using AboveVTT, DNDbeyond and Discord. You need a browser that supports the addon AboveVTT, for example Chrome or Firefox. No AI Allowed. Please apply using this link. https://forms.gle/fMskt1DY3J6tMnRs8 We will play sundays 19.00 CEST/CET

I just moved to Weatherford and I want to start up a D&D table! My name's Mac (28 they/them), and I've been D&D-ing for 8ish years. I have experience playing and DMing, modules and homebrew, short term and long term. For whoever can make it, I'm going to run a short module first then as long as we all clicked move on to something a little more meaty (and likely homebrew). I'm still a little new to 5.5 so it'll probably blend 5 and 5.5 for a little bit while I'm figuring out the differences. I'm ready and willing to host in Weatherford, but if another player is more central to the party and they're willing to host, I'm happy to travel.

The Land Beyond the Fog

Hello, I'm Bartek and I dm a soulslike homebrew DND campaign, heavy roleplay and engaging combat. With a very immersive, and active homebrew pantheon. The players are now at session 3 of the campaign and about to enter some catacombs, however 2 of our players have had to leave due to their own personal lives, giving us 2 extra slot This is the prologue the players received in session 1, to give you the vibe of the campaign. The fallen leaves tell a story... Of a land beyond the fog. Before kingdoms. Before war. Before the names of kings were carved into stone... There was Vita, Mother of All. From her hands came the first trees, their roots piercing the untouched earth. From the trees came the first plants. From the plants came sustenance. Then came the beasts of field and forest, given breath beneath the newborn sky. And at last... Vita created Man. But there was only one. His name was Vex. The First Man. In those earliest days, Vex was a gracious ruler. He built where there was nothing. He nurtured what was fragile. He gave order to a world yet untouched by war. And beneath Vita's watch... His people prospered. Yet life, once born, does not remain still. Vita bore within her the promise of three children. And where there is creation... It must cast a shadow. From the darkness cast by Vita's own existence came something that bore but one name. Umbrosus. The Eternal Dark. It dwelled where sunlight dared not reach. Beneath roots. Beneath stone. Within the forgotten places of the world. At first, it knew nothing of Man. Nothing of Vita. Nothing of the tongue spoken by living things. But it watched. And it learned. Slowly, Umbrosus crept into the dwelling of Vita. It learned the language of its creator. It listened to the voices of her children. And in the stillness of night... It heard the beating of Vita's heart. One heartbeat. Then another. Then... three more. For within the Mother slept the unborn children of the world. Mortuus The Golden Child. Distortus. The Forgotten Son. Enchidna. The Mother of Monsters. Three children. Untouched by the world's cruelty. Three souls destined to inherit the Mother's creation. But Umbrosus reached them first While Vita slept... The shadow entered the womb It did not kill them. It did something far worse. It left within each child an ember of itself. A darkness that not even the Mother's light could wholly extinguish Kings may bury their crimes. Civilizations may burn their histories. Gods may attempt to erase their mistakes. But time continues. And eventually, time reveals all And so... The children of Vita were born carrying a fragment of the shadow. And now... Our world bears the weight of it. But where there is shadow... There is light. Light that finds its way through the cracks. Light that refuses to die. Light that does not merely shine... but roars And now... There is only one question left. Dear adventurers... Will you heed its call? If your interested in joining please either DM me or leave a comment. :)

The Epic of Relovia

[5e 2014 & 2024][Boise, ID area][LGBTQIA+ Friendly] Veteran DM looking to take some cool people on a homebrew adventure. Hello everyone. I am looking into starting an offline game in my area. As of now, I am looking for 2 or 3 people who would be in the mood for a long term campaign that is partly in progress. Please only apply if you are of the age 21 or older. Edit: I live in Meridian and the game will take place at my apartment! Sorry for that confusion! Who are you, strange internet person? I am a man in his late 30s who has been playing TTRPGs for about 15 years. I started with 3rd edition and found my home in Pathfinder for the majority of that time. I recently wanted to expand that portfolio into 5e with the 2024 ruleset but I will allow for usage of the 2014 ruleset pending review! This is my first 5e game so expect a lot of rule checks. That said, I have physical copies of 6 of the books (DMG, PHB, MM, TCoE, XGtE, and MotM). I have plans to get the newer books but they are expensive and I am a poor little guy. What sort of game will we be playing? The game itself will be a dark fantasy and post-apocalyptic world known as Relovia. Relovia suffers under the blight of the Stillborn Moon, a failed god seedling that has turned Relovia into an ashen hellscape of mutated monsters, aberrant horrors, and terrors beyond imagining. Themes include body horror, cosmic horror, survival, existentialism, hope, and defiance. The campaign will be about 70-30 between roleplay and combat. 70% of the campaign will be social encounters, exploration, and the like while the other 30% will be combat. A master document will be provided which will go over the setting and is highly recommended reading. You don’t necessarily have to make a good character but you have to make a character that wants to take part in this story and wants to travel with the group. Actions will have consequences and Relovia can be an unforgiving place. We will be playing at level 3 in a campaign that is already a couple sessions in but we are at a point where we can integrate new characters very easily. I am aiming for a heavy immersive game and so backstories are mandatory and coming with the attitude of wanting to explore the world, while not mandatory, will help you enjoy yourself much more. When will this game take place? I have a strict work schedule so as of now the only time the games can take place is on Sundays. Currently, we play at 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM Local Time. Mountain time! As of now, I have not nailed down a time for the campaign to pick back up, but the sooner the better. What kind of player am I looking for? Mostly just looking for players who identify with the stuff they’ve read so far. I’ll be straight up, I am under no illusions as to what kind of state I live in. If you support or supported Trump, are MAGA, or the phrase ‘I’m not very political’ is part of your regular vocabulary, you need not apply.  The table does tend to have a few minutes of time at the beginning of each session, to chat, mingle, and politics frequently comes up. If that sounds like something that appeals to you, awesome! I would love to hear from you. My DMs are open and I’d love to chat a bit to get to know you. I am intrigued. What should I do next? Please send me a DM! I’d love to talk to you and I’d love to hear why you think you’d be a good fit for Relovia. If you read this far, please tell me what my favorite color is! (Hint: It’s purple).

The Inheritor Trials

Roleplay focused
Conversation, character and story take up most of the table time.
Adult
The table is for players who are 18 or over.
CROSS POSTED FROM:  https://www.reddit.com/r/lfg/comments/1whicie/onlinepst_fewshot_5e_2014_or_2024_flexible_lgbtq/ __ The number of gods and goddesses that exist across our diverse histories are as timeless and innumerable as the stars themselves. Even at the pinnacle of godhood however, petty squabbles over power and status frequently break out due to pride and boredom in equal measure. Governing their respective aspects and starting occasional conflicts on the mortal plane was all well and good, but little seemed to stir any true interest from their immortal thrones. Thus, the Inheritor Trials were created. It was both a thrilling spectator sport to look forward to and a means to decide which gods produced the most powerful offspring. A satisfying proxy war most found preferable to the effort and consequential destruction direct conflict would cause. Every century, the gods extend an invitation to all of their immediate descendants, beckoning them to participate so that they may gain ‘equal’ glory and prestige. While the trials are notorious for being dangerous and foul play is not uncommon, for most the reward promised to the victors far outweighs the risks: A boon from their divine progenitor. More than a mere favor, any boon granted to a demi-god is made before all of the gods witness to the event - meaning the god is honor bound to fulfill the request lest they face the judgement of their divine peers. Perhaps you wish to use this boon to cement yourself as your divine parent’s favorite after years of neglect? Perhaps you don’t care for their favor in the slightest, but require their power to help you with a problem you can’t solve on your own? Or, perhaps you simply wish to participate in the Trials to test your own mettle against your demi-god peers? Whatever the case, the day of the Inheritor Trials has arrived, and you must take your fate into your own hands. ~~~~ LOGISTICS: TWO SHOT* (maybe three depending on pacing, we’re gonna call it 2) September 21-24 (TBD) and October 2nd, 5-9PST over Discord on Roll20 Level 11, all official and partnered content on dndbeyond good with me. I'm comfortable running 2014 or 2024, I'll go majority preference. Thoughtful, serious backstories are highly encouraged. You may be the half mortal half godly offspring of any mythos. ex: Zeus, Abunis, Selune (forgotten realms), the Stormlord, (CR), or niche cultures/gods too! Interview process =  fill out google form here: https://forms.gle/dKNKNPpAwKr1as4z8, I'll pick my 3 favorites by Saturday (the 19th) , then from there we’ll talk on discord so I can get one last vibe check then we play! Transparently, these few shots are being run with the goal of growing a ‘long term’ roster for me and my existing tables. We pride ourselves on all being very strong, character focused roleplayers that throw our everything into the emotional story arcs and intense combats we go through together. While experienced players are preferred, ultimately you just have to be open to in equal measure be respectful and dedicated to the story we all tell together. PLEASE NOTE: While this game is being labeled as 21+ there will NOT be any gratuitous explicit sex scenes, gore, body horror, suicidal themes etc. That rating is mostly there because that is the general age range of my group (mid to late 20s), in reality I'd say the table 'rating' is more 18+ for cursing and general maturity level. Think CR/D20 level of vivid combat descriptors, social use of alcohol or drugs, occasional flirting if consensual, and fading to black if necessary (probably not relevant for this). I'm happy to go over any clarifications in call if chosen. Oh also obligatory, extremely LGBTQ+ and minority friendly. Bigotry of ANY kind is not tolerated. Thanks for reading! Hope to see you there!

Welcome to Vaeloria!

Welcome to Vaeloria! Generations ago, the Underfolk rose up in a crusade that failed. What followed was worse than the war itself: subjugation under House Xanos, a wound that still hasn't closed. Some Vaelorians have grown kinder to the Underfolk races over he years since, but many haven't. Beneath the surface of every gleaming city, from Eryndell's towers of scholarship, to Thalor's living canopy to Vaeloris Prime's golden halls, something is not quite right. But you don't know any of that yet. Right now, you're just trying to survive a forced labor camp you shouldn't be in. A stranger has given you a piece of paper, asking to meet with a few others in the common room that night.  What to expect: - A homebrew D&D 5e (2024 rules) campaign blending political intrigue, personal stakes, and genuine moral grey areas - Combat that hits hard, mysteries that reward paying attention, and choices that don't come with a clearly right answer - A slow-burn story, secrets are meant to be uncovered, not handed to you This campaign will include a lot ot homebrew items and monsters.

On Time's Edge

Roleplay focused
Conversation, character and story take up most of the table time.
Homebrew
House rules, a custom setting, or a system the Game Master wrote themselves.
The era of mortals is coming to a close. Time, once a flowing and vast fact of life, is being eaten away by a divine stasis known as The Fog. More than half of the planet and its people have been swallowed by it now, leaving a sparse few beacons of light in the ever growing darkness. Our story begins in the 11th month of the year 3046PS, roughly 60 years after the first sightings of The Fog, as one of the final refugee ships from the west dock in the port city of Punto de Partida. Snow falls upon our fated party as they’re engulfed by the anxious city and its people, having only themselves to fend for against a world nearly frozen. You, dear survivor, live while the timer of the end ticks down. What will you do in the final years of mortals? Will you spend them ignoring the inevitable and indulging in what little comforts are left, or will despair halt you even before stasis arrives? Or maybe you have hope of a miracle, be it from the gods or crafted by your own hands. Just how much, I wonder, would you be willing to lose to save the world? [This campaign is set to be a long-term, slowburn story focused on character development and roleplay. Much of its world, people and cultures are open for players to imagine and make their own, making it perfect for players who love world building and crafting intricate backstories. The story will cover many of the expected topics for a pre/mid apocalyptic setting, as well as heavy themes such as classism, genocide, xenophobia and racisim/speciesism. Other sensitive topics may be covered barring any content that players can choose to veto; my goal as a DM is to make an immersive and realistic world while showing utmost respect to my players while doing so.]

This is a one-shot but I am looking for somebody who would like to play in a longterm consistent campaign.  If you enjoy yourself in this one-shot, the following week we'd hold a Session Zero for a longer term campaign.   I look forward to gaming with you.

Newbie friendly

LGBTQ+ friendly
The table is openly welcoming to LGBTQ+ players.
The campaign is going to revolve around the Mournlands of Eberron as it has recently shown signs of expanding, even the this slight expansion imposes great concern over the nations requiring pooled resources and a dedicated team (you) to investigate this phenomenon and possibly find a way to stop it. This is the barebones summary as more will be explained in a session 0 later next week on Saturday same time as the normal sessions will be.

The Forgotten Forest - Text Based Game (PBP)

Deep within the woods remains a place that maps nor scholars can agree on; it is nothing more than a legend to them, an impossibility. But to you? It's unavoidable. For whatever reason, your feet have now brought you to the edge of the Forgotten Forest… You recall that time moves differently here. It was told to you in stories throughout your childhood, the resting place of faerie magic. Travellers who have sought out the forest but never returned. Was it because it was dangerous or because it was so beautiful they never wanted to return? You remember the tales describing the forest as a paradise for the mythical. Fairies dancing in the twinkling sunlight, great dragons that soar for miles without fear of being seen by the outside world, and creatures thought to be long extinct. What has brought you here? What do you seek? What will you do?  Example From Game:  You now stand at the threshold, the grass shifting from a dull green to a vibrant, glowing emerald. The air smells of jasmine, honey, and cedar. You have found the sanctuary of the old magic… But the woods are completely silent now. As you look back, you realize this is the point of no return. You notice a faint humming in the distance, as if the forest is calling you. Do you answer? What to expect? -Immersive Mystery: your backstory will directly connect with the story -The Shift: high fantasy with dark secrets -PBP: text based story telling and game play -Game Time: mix of "live" texting and asynchronous gameplay -Balance: 70%RP/ 30%Combat

Displaced Cans

The story is set in a world with 4 distinct nations, each with their importance in and out of the main story, ranging from a massive nation built on a large city, to a divided nation of high mountain dwellers to grassland and desert inhabiting nomads. This campaign has been running for 1 and a half years and i'm looking for a player to join. This is a mostly homebrew world with a homebrew story, with a few house rules just to make the game more enjoyable (notably i decided to axe casters only being able to cast 1 spell on their turn, e.g. Fireball then Misty step being allowed). This dnd uses DnD beyond for the making of sheets and gameplay but uses roll 20 for the visual side and battlemaps. We are also using discord for talking amongst eachother, so only real requirement is that you have a mic, that is all. The party is level 11 and as such you'd be starting at their level, it consists of a Monk, Artificer and a Cleric. There was another player but they've taken a temporary hiatus and the other player has essentially gone awol, hence why im looking for another player. I've been a DM/player for around 2 years now, with my players also playing dnd for around 2 years, we are all around the same age (16-17) . If you wish to join, simply reply with your discord user and a lil bout yourself, favourite class and whatever else you wish to say.

Moonsetter: A Project Moon D&D 5.5e Mini-Campaign

Homebrew
House rules, a custom setting, or a system the Game Master wrote themselves.
Combat focused
Fights, tactics and initiative take up most of the table time.
M Corp. Residing in District 13 of the City, and the pinnacle of mental and psychological care. Nowhere else will you find psychologists and therapists more qualified. Whether you're suffering from run-of-the-mill struggles, serious mental health conditions, or something more esoteric, you will find no better treatment than within one of M Corp's mental care institutions. …If you're well off, that is. The Backstreet slums of District 13, as is typical for all districts, doesn't get to taste the fruits of its parent corp's labour. Mental health services in the Backstreets are underfunded, neglected, and ineffective for dealing with the City's ails—with one exception. Moonsetter Clinic, founded by an ex-researcher of M Corp, seeks to bring the cutting edge of mental care to the people who most need it. Since its establishment three months ago, it has become a venerated, almost sacred institution to the Backstreets residents. Dozens of people each day walk into the complex, and walk out changed for the better. Even some of the Five Fingers have taken notice, and gone as far as to enforce it as neutral ground exempt from their bloody turf wars. It is a bona fide miracle. You don't buy it. Oh, you had your suspicions before: nothing that good ever graces the Backstreets without some strings attached. But there's also a personal reason behind your mistrust. You know someone—friend or family, colleague or simple acquaintance—who is a frequent patient of this place, and they recently went for their usual check-up. Maybe you even accompanied them to the lobby. It's been days, and they haven't returned. Your suspicion turned to surety. You quickly came across others who shared your experience, banded together, and decided. There is something rotten about Moonsetter Clinic, and you are all going to get to the bottom of it. Introduction Hi there! I am Nope (22, he/they). I hail from the far-off land of New Zealand, and I've been playing and running TTRPGs for close to 9 years now—mainly D&D 5e and 5.5e, but I've also dabbled in other systems like Pf2e and Lancer as well. I am also, as the title might indicate, a big Project Moon fan! This mini-campaign was made to combine two of the interests nearest to my heart, and is hopefully the start of a larger anthology of adventures set in the City. If you're not aware, Project Moon is a Korean indie game studio that creates games set in The City: a cyberpunk dystopia with fantasy elements. Life is cheap, violence is banal and commonplace, and corporation rule unchecked. In terms of vibes, think office workers in suits or streetwear fighting with store-bought swords and back-alley augmentation procedures, living paycheck to paycheck. Familiarity with this setting is not required for this mini-campaign; the plot will be pretty self-contained and won't make many references to the wider Project Moon canon. Details - System: D&D 5.5e, with some homebrew to adapt it to Project Moon's setting. The necessary homebrew is actually quite light (just 9ish pages) thanks to the City arguably borrowing more from high fantasy than conventional sci-fi in its worldbuilding; thus, the majority of translation is in reflavouring abilities and classes rather than bespoke custom rules. You can take a peek at the homebrew I plan to use here. - Level: Probably around 5-7, to be discussed with players during Session 0. Level-up is unlikely, given that this is a single adventure. - Time: Sunday 2pm fortnightly, GMT+12. Sessions will run from 3-4 hours. - Starting Date: My goal is to hold Session 0 sometime in early-mid October! - Length: 4-6 sessions, as a very rough estimate. More likely to be longer than shorter. - Players Needed: 4-5 - Platform: Foundry for VTT, Discord for communication Requirements - Age 18+ - Have a decent mic and a stable internet connection. - Have some decent experience with D&D 5e or 5.5e, or be willing to learn quickly. - Be willing to be earnestly invested in the campaign, and in each other's characters. - Be prompt and timely in showing up to sessions; give advance notice of a few days if you're not able to make it. - Don't be a bigot or an asshole. - No use of generative AI; I'm not a fan. Further Considerations - This is an LGBTQ+ friendly table! If you're not comfortable with that, go elsewhere. - The following topics will be covered: classism, mental health, medical malpractice, slight body horror. - The campaign will likely have a focus on combat and social interaction, with limited exploration. - This campaign is intended to be serious, but not misery porn! There will be ample space for jokes, light-hearted moments, and goofiness in general. - Combat difficulty will aim for 'challenging but fair'. I'm not interested in playing every encounter absolutely optimally; enemies will act based on their personalities, goals, and the current situation. As a DM, my priority is for combat to be fun and engaging, while still maintaining actual stakes—notably, this means non-zero chances of character death. - The setting of the campaign is not perfectly 1-to-1 with the Project Moon setting, due to D&D's mechanics and structure. The biggest divergence from canon is that magic as it works in D&D exists in the City and is well-understood and utilized as just one of many pathways to gain power, alongside technology, augmentations, and sheer competence. - Project Moon's stories are very character-focused, with emphasis on personal trauma, character growth, and facing your fears to achieve self-actualization. Include the word sun somewhere in your application. While the scope of this mini-campaign means there probably won't be much in the way of formative character arcs and development, I want to keep that focus on character-driven personal stories that Project Moon is known for. - My hope is to run this mini-campaign and others like it (some set in the City, some with their own bespoke settings) to build a community of like-minded players, with whom I hope to establish a long-term TTRPG gaming group! - I am technically a Project Moon larper LMAO (haven't played any of the games, got into it purely through watching playthroughs and wiki-diving) Applying If you want to apply, fill out this form! Once I gather enough respondents, I will shortlist a number of potential players and schedule interviews with them over voice call on Discord. After that, I will select 4-5 players to invite to a Session 0, and hopefully from there the campaign will begin!

Secrets Long Buried

Homebrew
House rules, a custom setting, or a system the Game Master wrote themselves.
Roleplay focused
Conversation, character and story take up most of the table time.
So it took me longer than expected but i am finally getting stuff together for my own campaign. Maps and minis and stuff. I would prefer to have players who can commit to regular play but i can easily work with absences due to the nature of the campaign. I am still looking for around 60/40 roleplay/combat.  I am willing to do a short one or two session adventure in my setting if people want to feel things out first. I intend to rent out the private room for sessions. I don't know if this matters to people but I have 0 desire to use AI in any of my campaign so if that matters to you there you go. A summary of the setting and what's going on as relayed by Arius, the figure with the bow in the images:  Long ago, when gods ruled the land, and men sailed the sea, when the earth trembled and the sky broke, a great beast rose up in the shadows, and cast the world into perpetual twilight. As the shadows grew long, horrible monsters rose from them. For many long years, the gods fought against this darkness, but they struggled. They cast their holy light upon the beast, but the brighter it burned, the darker the shadows became.  Finally, in the year 482 of the common era, Lifskona, the goddess of the sun, queen of the heavens, made a deal with the men of the sea. They would be allowed dominion over the land, in exchange for driving the beasts away, so that the gods could direct their power towards their true foe. Man would be blessed with great magic to aid in this war.  Their attention no longer divided, the gods soon succeeded in binding their foe, and banishing him from the mortal realm, ending the long twilight. It was not so easy for man. Even with their new power, the tribes of the sea struggled to gain ground against the monsters we call the Drak.  What the gods percieved as a short conflict was a multigenerational war of attrition. Neither side gained ground and the fields of Flodlan ran red with blood.  It seemed the violence would never end. Many considered returning to the sea, and a happier world. It was only 20 years ago that the Namea appeared from the south to lend us their aid. Mysterious and wise, they turned the tide at the brink of defeat, and together with the men of the sea, pushed the Drak west into the desert.  Ram Anu, our king and the man who led us in that final push, rode back different. Nobody who rode with him will speak of what occurred.  6 years ago, the king rode out again, to end the Drak menace once and for all. He has never returned.  If that piques your interest, let me know. I know i've posted about this twice now. It's just taken a while to get things going.

Homebrew
House rules, a custom setting, or a system the Game Master wrote themselves.
Newbie friendly
New players are welcome, and nobody expects you to know the rules beforehand.
Welcome to Glemmerrúm, a free in-person, kid-friendly beginner D&D campaign in NE DC on Sunday afternoons. We are looking for some beginner players to explore the Glemmerrúm, a collaborative, home-brew D&D 5.5e campaign, designed for kids (9+) and adults to play together. Characters will start at Level 3 and progress throughout the campaign. Anyone under 18 who wants to join will need an adult playing/present with them. The game is in-person and will take place every Sunday afternoon in NE DC, from September to December. Once we have six players confirmed, we’ll set up a Session Zero next week, before the first session Sunday, September 13th. While this is my first time DM-ing a full D&D campaign, I have run numerous D&D one-shots. Please complete this form to join us: https://forms.gle/dbE7TqkToFecrREd6 -- Cheers!

Adult
The table is for players who are 18 or over.
Welcome. This is a playtest for Lost Mine of Phandelver. If your application is accepted you will be a part of the first group to set the baseline for this world from start to finish. Help me polish this adventure and your characters may just be immortalized in some way. Expectations: - 4 or 5 players - Starting at level 4, playing from levels 4-9 (its normally designed for 1-5) - Aiming for Monday Sept 14th with an optional 'Session Zero' Monday Sept 7th if applications fill fast - 1 Free roll of stats, 4d6 drop the lowest, otherwise pointbuy (Please declare it in Roll20 chat) - Vanilla Forgotten Realms Dnd (mostly using rules from 5.5e, 5e classes and the like are allowed) - Open to a 5e rules playthrough, applications will determine. - Focus on questing and combat (think Tactician level difficulty) - Aiming for 20 sessions (with distant options to get into DoIP or ToA. Shattered Obelisk was considered but not my style) - For character backstories you will be assigned secrets (as seen in the adventure IDRotFM) but I am flexible here. - Downtime, IC conversations, shopping, etc will be encouraged over discord and less in game. - Possible monster card game if I have time. (Defeat a monster, gain their card, cards can lvl up, play NPCs for keeps, etc.) No players under 18 No homebrew or Unearthed Arcana. No primarily evil characters at the start (may revisit this as the campaign progresses) Most books are allowed (list in discord) If you have a question about some popular combos (shepherd druid, coffeelock, conjure woodland beings, etc) I am flexible If you have a question about some item combos (bag of beans, equipping a familiar, illusionist bracers, etc) feel free to ask Write Gygax in your application so I can see you read this. Some brief homebrew rules (not the full list): - Level ups by milestones - Flanking, but only for Rogues - Anyone can grapple on an op attack, including enemies - Rest casting ok, but incurs 1 lvl of special exhaustion that cant be mitigated till next longrest - Cant benefit from a full rest in armor (unless Warforged or Autognome, etc) - 2 of the 8hrs rest can be done awake, however, staying awake in camp requires Con check - Starting gold may be rolled once in Roll20 chat. - Inspiration has ways of being earned (see discord) - Write the name 'Greenwood' in your application for free inspiration. - You may sell unneeded items at half price but need to wait till in game to buy stuff, initially. - Death saves are rolled in private (But, characters 5ft away can make a free medicine check [DC 12]) - Characters preforming help action requires proficiency for the respective ability check. - We will try not to dogpile skill checks, but I may ask multiple characters for the same check - Druids can equip metal - Using surprised condition from 2024 - Orc NPCs are evil bc Grummsh said so, Halforcs can be any alignment (players can still play anything with any alignment) - S, M component discrepancy mostly ignored if you have a spell focus. V components can be no quieter than a 'chant' About me: -Around 2000hrs experience, with limited one-shot GMing -Completed LMoP, SO, ToA, OOtA, DoIP, WDH -Heavily played in SKT, Planescape, IDRotFM, DragonLance, Scarlet Citadel, BG3 800hrs+

The Ashen Crescent

Homebrew
House rules, a custom setting, or a system the Game Master wrote themselves.
Roleplay focused
Conversation, character and story take up most of the table time.
What kind of game is this? This is not a casual dungeon crawl. The campaign has already begun, the party is currently level 7 and mid-way through the first act, and we are seeking new companions to join the story as it continues to unfold. The Ashen Crescent is a long-form, ambitious D&D 5e campaign inspired by the Third Crusade, told through a lens of faith, prophecy, and political intrigue. Imagine a holy city where banners of rival religions hang side by side; where incense and blood mix in the same streets; where ancient relics, half-remembered prophecies, and bitter oaths drive men and women to fight, pray, and betray. Set in the grand desert city of Elarah, you will step into a world of: Crusade-era conflict: rival faiths clash over relics and scripture, each believing salvation is theirs. Early medieval aesthetics: swords, shields, banners, cloisters, and bazaars. No very high fantasy tropes. Magic is semi-rare and mystical. Low fantasy, high stakes: the miraculous feels sacred, not common. Politics and belief matter as much as steel. Moral ambiguity: there are no clear villains, only zealots, survivors, mystics, and opportunists. Or so you think... The factions are: Luminari — the Sun-faith of order, dawn, and light. Sulahim — scholars, jurists, and fire infused desert camel-lords. Yeshari — cunning keepers of covenant, memory, and exile. Wayfarers — silk road traders, mystics of prisms and hidden paths. Your choices shape the city’s destiny. Who you kneel to, who you betray, which side you protect. All of this carries weight. The System & Tools System: D&D 5e+ (characters tracked on D&D Beyond). VTT: TaleSpire. Custom 3D maps and set pieces (requires a PC with semi-decent specs). This entails that either you have the $24.99 version of the game (Steam), or you are able/willing to buy it. Also, you will need a mini (best created in Hero Forge). Please adjust for that. ⚠️ Important ⚠️: This campaign is essentially a paid-level production offered free. I am building custom TaleSpire boards, art assets, lore documents, and immersive narrative arcs. Because of that, I expect the same level of seriousness/commitment from players: punctuality, reliability, and a willingness to roleplay. Seriousness doesn't mean no fun allowed. In the end, we all seek the escapism and fun found withing D&D. Seriousness instead means commitment, and reciprocating the same effiort I put into giving you this story. Schedule Main Session: Saturdays @ 5:00 PM EST Fallback: Fridays (same hour) when attendance issues arise Sessions are multi-hour, roleplay-heavy, and story-driven. Combat will be present, but when it hits, it HITS! What I’m Looking For I need players who will commit long-term. Respectfully but firmly: if you are just looking to scratch a quick D&D itch for a couple of sessions, this is not the game for you. This is a campaign built to last, and every time someone leaves, it disrupts immersion and damages the living story we are building together. This campaign has been going on for around a year, and it doesn't look like it will end anytime soon. Use this as reference to the commitment you will be making. I’m seeking: Reliability & punctuality: Respect everyone’s time. Commitment: Stick with the campaign until its conclusion. Since this story has already begun, reliability is even more important. New characters are stepping into a web of alliances, rivalries, and prophecies already in motion. Ambition: Players who actively pursue goals and drive the story forward. Love for roleplay: Dialogue, tough moral choices, faction intrigue. Good mic + capable PC: Technical reliability is part of the immersion. How to Apply If this speaks to you, especially within the scope of commitment, send me a DM or post a comment with: Name/Age/Timezone Confirmation you can commit to Saturdays 5 PM EST (Fridays as fallback) Confirmation that your PC can run TaleSpire + mic confirmation Your D&D experience (new/casual/veteran) A short character seed (2–4 sentences: motive, flaw, and which faction intrigues you so far) Why you’re looking for a long-term campaign, and why does this one resonate with you From there, we’ll schedule a short Discord interview to ensure compatibility. This isn’t meant to gatekeep. It’s to protect the story, the group, and the time we’re all investing. Why Join? Because The Ashen Crescent is designed to feel like stepping into a living chronicle. Think the Crusades retold in a D&D world. A city of temples and markets, faith and blood, prophecy and steel. If you’ve ever wanted to be part of something epic, morally complex, and richly atmospheric, this is it. If you’re ready to swear your oath and carry it through to the end — Elarah awaits. Here synopsis about most of what has happened so far: Each of them crossed the Kesareth Desert alone, drawn by purpose, faith, or something they could not fully explain. Their paths converged at a Wayfarer caravanserai, where strangers became companions out of necessity. From there, they set their sights on Elarah, the sacred city at the heart of the desert, said to be a place where prophecy, power, and belief all collide. Days into their journey, the sky erupted in a storm of falling stars. The heavens burned with unnatural color, and those who witnessed it were forever changed. A crystal-like mark formed on their right forearms, alive in ways none of them understand. It reacts. It pulses. It seems to answer to something beyond them. When they finally reached Elarah, they found its gates sealed. The city had already begun to fracture under the weight of its own faiths. Forced to slip inside through the sewers, they were met with a truth far worse than rumor. Elarah is not simply tense. It is unraveling. Within its walls, four competing faiths struggle for control, each convinced they alone hold truth. Law is enforced with severity in the Ink Row, where rulings are swift and often merciless. The streets are filled with unrest, quiet fear, and the sense that something inevitable is approaching. Amid this instability, the players found footing with the Red Company, a powerful mercenary force tightening its grip on the city. They offer work, protection, and information, but never freely. Every favor has weight, and every agreement draws the players deeper into a web of ambition and control. After making a rash decision to stand for their morals, the group feel the consequences of their choices. Hunted by half the city, and narrowly escaping a close brush with the punishment hanging over their head, they leverage what little favor they have left with the Red company to arrive at the four pillars, the birthplace of a faith that spans the known world. There, the party found both a new truth and a new purpose under King Baldwin. Following the command of the King, the party sets sail into the Levantine sea, heading into Anatolia to investigate the lack luster support given by one of the holy orders to the defense of Elarah. On their way there, the captain screamed for the party and crew to man the defenses, chaos erupting as they scramble: fumbling over ropes in the cramped deck; on the horizon: three ships appearing on the horizon, sails raised at full mast, rushing into combat range. A grueling sea battle ensued, ballista cracks and screams filling the air; through skill, planning, trust, and faith the players managed to barely escape with their lives at a great cost. Now stranded in the middle of the sea, exhausted, lost, and clinging to life; the players will be tested in a hostile and unforgiving environment; surrounded by miles and miles of deep water, they must find a way to their destination. Or at the very least survive. The party stands at a crossroads. War is no longer a distant threat but an approaching certainty. Each faction calls for loyalty. Each path carries consequence. The question is no longer whether Elarah will change, but who will shape what comes next. And whether this fragile alliance of strangers can survive long enough to choose.

From simple goblins and thieves to fighting full on multiversal threats this campaign is perfect for new players and veterans alike. To play you need an account on Roll20 and you need discord.

Kings over Ignia ( level 1-6 adventure )

A level 1–6 D&D campaign set on Ignia a remote tropical island where the party begins lost and shipwrecked and cut off from the outside world, developing into unlikely heroes over the course of an Exciting Journey. Expect a mix of wilderness exploration, village intrigue, lost strange ruins, moral choices, and a semi open Sandbox branching story where the party’s decisions can significantly change how the campaign unfolds. if you played Lost mines of Phandelver expect a similar vibe to progression and overall idea of time and expectations. about me , Howdy, im Azurion and am a dm with two currently running long term campaigns, like Dungeons and Dragons and Daggerheart alot, and after testing out some starter campaigns and never feeling fully satisfied, had the wish to construct my own version of one, meant to teach dnd concepts while still delivering a fun and unique experience where player choices matter. i would be glad to welcome five new player into this game :). I’m choosing players based on group compatibility rather than first come, first served, so feel free to apply as long as this post is still open. System/edition: D&D 5e 2024 Online: online, over roll 20, using discord for Bookkeeping, chatting and music etc. Schedule: Friday, 20:00–23:00 Germany time Europe/Berlin . Frequency: Biweekly games lasting about 3-4 Hours. Starting date: Session 0 should be ideally done beforehand over chats and vc talks , starting date would be 18.09.2026 , which will have a session 0 + session 1 experience ( aka pregame discussion over everything) . Players wanted: Five players, New players are welcome. I’m happy to teach, but I expect you to put in some effort between sessions to learn Roll20, understand your character sheet and the basic rules of DND 5e, and become familiar with your class and abilities. Age requirement: content will be relatively PG-13 in terms of content , but i would prefer you being 18+ to avoid any issues. Homebrew or module: Homebrew Campaign length: Several Months, 20 - 30 Sessions taking you from level 1-6 Gameplay balance: aiming for 40 Roleplay / 40 Combat / 20 exploration. Tone: Lighthearted Heroic Adventure in a quaint but threatened Island, closest would be a teen- adventure novel or series like Avatar / owl house in terms of overall tone, evil exist but the people are nice and tone should remain somewhat light. Player agency: Semi Linear - Sandbox, meant to be approached and to open up to your choices, even if the sandbox it offers is comparatively small. Character creation rules: All races except Flying races ( Aarakokra and Owlin ) are allowed, all classes that are official are allowed, dont power or metagame the game is meant as a more baseline starter campaign and will offer little challenge to a overpowered pc. New players requirements: if your new you need the following to still joing ( look into roll20 and fully create atleast a sheet of your pc , not dnd beyond integration ones please, willing to know your classes and the games basic rules , this can be learned in a free 40 page paper on dnd beyond. Decent Audio equipment and somwhat ok PC is also needed. if you played even one campaign on roll 20 , you should be ok doing this. VTT: Roll20, Chats over Discord Language: English, i however am from germany , expect a little awkardness , englisch isnt my main Languange Attendance expectations: Reliability is by far my biggest requirement. Missing occasionally ( though not too often ) with advance notice is understandable; ghosting or unexplained absences will result in removal. Table rules / behavior: NO PvP, metagaming, murderhobo behavior, disruptive characters, etc, this is a friendly and Heroic Adventure game where you are expected to work as a team. Content/safety: No Heavy Gore, No Homophobia and Racism of any Kind, all explicit content will be fade to black, romance is restricted to what could fit in a disney movie. Evil PCs are forbidden. What you want from players: Consistently showing up , RP engagement, teamwork, backstories, knowing the rules of your own character. this campaign expects you to be heroic and to want to help people , Evil PCs are forbidden and neutral is ok but likely may lack the same enjoyment you get from being good in this game. About you as DM: 2 year experience, ran following campaigns : Dragons of Stormwreck Isle, Lost Mines of Phandelver, Curse of Strahd, Wrath of the Glass dragon, my main homebrew setting in which this game also takes place , its a remote island nearby. Application: send me a message , i invite the ones i see as interresting to chat over discord. please include -- What should I call you? Pronouns Age / confirmation that you're 18+ Country and timezone Your D&D/TTRPG experience Your Roll20 experience, if any What are you looking for in a D&D campaign? What do you enjoy most about D&D? What do you enjoy least about D&D? Any rough character idea you currently have, if any Confirmation that biweekly Fridays, 20:00–23:00 Europe/Berlin reliably works for you

Crooked Moon (Foundry VTT 5.5e)

Adult
The table is for players who are 18 or over.
Looking for 2-3 more players — The Crooked Moon (Foundry, 5.5e, online) Hey folks, Two players + me as DM, looking to fill out our table to 4-5 for The Crooked Moon. Quick note, yeah it's a "scary" campaign, but I'm not running gothic horror, this isn't Ravenloft. More Grimm farytale spooky-adventure-with-stakes than Ravenloft's "Gothic horror" doom and gloom, spiraling into maddness. Table's got jokes, nobody's precious about tone. What we need: can commit to (nearly) weekly sessions (life happens, we get it, but "shows up when convenient" won't work for the group). Know 5.5e or willing to learn it (it's not hard).  Never used Foundry before? No problem, it just means less time fumbling with rules and more time actually playing. Good mix of combat, exploration, and RP (were not super serious about "getting into charachter, but have fun), and the maps, charchters and stories are genuinely well made (thats not a brag, check out www.kickstarter.com/projects/legendsofavantris/the-crooked-moon-folk-horror-in-5e. One more thing so it's not a surprise, a 4th friend pops in as a guest every few sessions when his schedule allows, think of him as someone who (hopfully) shows up when things get really bad. Were planning on starting in about a month when we finish our current campaign, but the way things are going it might even take 2...  If that sounds good, feel free to hit me up on Discord me and let's talk.

Hey everybody! I'm a long time DM/GM looking to put together a party for DnD (or similar ttrpg system). I'm open to players of all sorts, experience levels, time zones and the like, as long as we can make it work for everybody!  At the time of posting this, I have zero seats filled. Looking for 3-5 players. If you are intersted and we connect and get you in the group but it doesnt vibe with you or something doesn't work out, no heart feelings.  If you're a diehard DnD player, I'm probably not the DM for you. I love being a bit more loose with the rules and allowing for player creativity, using DnD as a foundation. I'm very theatre of the mind. With that being said, I did pay for a platform called Foundry VT that is very nerdy and detailed with interactive maps, character sheets and more. We'd use that (players dont pay anything) and discord for playing and talking. Not a requirement, but for informational purposes I'm in the U.S. and in EST. If you're interested or have questions, please hit me up! Look forward to hearing from you all! I'll keep this post updated if/when (hopefully) seats get filled.

Inferno A Dante's Inferno-inspired D&D 5e (2024) campaign — looking for 2 players System:D&D 5th Edition (2024 rules) Platform: Foundry VTT + Discord (voice) Players needed: 2 Schedule:Saturdays, 9pm GMT+2 Session length: 3–4 hours --- You died. Minos judges, Minos sentences, and you spend eternity exactly where your worst act put you. No appeals, no exceptions. Except somewhere between the shore of the Acheron and the judgment you were owed, something went wrong with the paperwork. You're still unsorted. And someone with more to lose than you'd expect is willing to walk you through Hell itself for a chance at a real hearing instead of an automatic sentence. This is a story-driven, character-focused campaign about facing exactly what put you here, with enough combat, danger, and infernal politics along the way to make sure you don't get there easily.  What to Expect - Psychological and personal. Each circle of Hell mirrors something true about a character, not just a themed dungeon. - Still a full D&D campaign. Real combat, real stakes, real chances to die twice. Infernal contracts, hellish factions, a warzone feel in the lower layers. - Character-driven pacing. Story arcs are built around the party's choices and backstories. - Session zero. Before we start, we build the world and your characters together, including what each of you actually wants out of a game about Hell.  About the Table DMing for 5+ years, mostly 5e, running games that lean heavily into roleplay and character backstory over pure mechanics, though I know the rules well enough to bend them when the story calls for it. All experience levels welcome; Recommend joining if you favour roleplay over combat ## Interested? Exploring the horrors of war in Falkovnia!

Combat focused
Fights, tactics and initiative take up most of the table time.
Roleplay focused
Conversation, character and story take up most of the table time.
G'day g'day! I'm Kregler! You can call me Jasper or Jazza if you really like. I'm 21 and would consider myself a fairly intermediate DM, having DM'd on and off over the past 3 years for short stints- though I have been playing MUCH longer. Just to establish some expectations as to what I'm looking for in players... I'm seeking a group of people who are within my age group. Meaning over 18 and preferably under 30. This will be a fairly average sized group of four players, with a focus on combat and roleplaying in the combat, with a strong focus on the party's dynamic. Just a thing of personal taste- I find AI character art to be VERY jarring and it honestly just breaks my focus, so please don't use it, I'm happy to help you find alternatives. Also, please for the love of the Lord, do not use AI to generate your backstories. Sessions will be hosted at 5:30pm AEST every Saturday, either weekly or fortnightly depending on the general preference. If you're in an American or European timezone, you very well may struggle! Planning on starting a Session 0 on the 22nd of August, with Session 1 on the 5th of September. You will all be starting at Level 3! Anyways... some info on the setting and campaign. Falkovnia is a Ravenloft setting, with a LOT of zombies. Characters will originate from a Faerun that is far more grim to fit the theme. Expect an intense amount of combat with endless hordes of the undead and an exploration of the very human horror of war. As for your characters... The black shadow of War has always hung over you. The hatred upon the faces of foes you've slain, the death-rattles of your family slaughtered in a raid, or the tears you have wrought in shattering families by your own atrocities. Mayhaps you've tried to escape it. Mayhaps you've accepted your lot. Mayhaps you could never live without it. An incredibly lucrative offer in a wartorn land leads your characters to the eternally burning forest of the Château de Levagneux - the sight of a terrible massacre. A noble man from the local Kingdom desperately clutches at the idea his family may yet be found, even if that means sending fodder down the rabbit hole. Something terrible hides in the thick smoke and cinders, none of the locals dare go near, for those who do oft never return. It draws you further in, still. A part of you - more ancient then your spirit or soul - can feel what is beyond there. Its all too familiar. Application link below! https://forms.gle/L9qfa135raMjupbLA

Welcome to ODIN, the Order of Dimensional Intelligence and Neutralization. You are a Judicar, an elite field agent assigned to a special team known as a Vanguard. Your missions will take you across the last surviving planet in the universe, where you will investigate, document, contain, or neutralize dangerous anomalies. How you handle each anomaly is entirely up to you. Study it. Negotiate with it. Contain it. Destroy it. Taste it to see if it has a chocolate flavor. Accidentally make everything worse. ODIN trusts your judgment. Usually. Think the SCP universe meets D&D 5e, with fantasy, science fiction, eldritch horror, firearms, strange investigations, and occasional chaos. ALSO: You have a plant scorpion turtle cat as your companion. So you know the level of weird you can expect. Session Details: Beginner friendly Biweekly on Sundays 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Eastern Time Approximately 3.5 to 4 hours per session Discord for voice Foundry VTT for maps, combat, and gameplay Approximately 60% roleplay and 40% combat POC and LGBTQ+ friendly English will be used during the game, but banter in other languages is welcome. Players must be 25 or older because of the mature themes. But happy for someone to join who is 21+ so long as they are aware of the themes and ideas. Genres include fantasy, science fiction, horror (eldritch and cosmic - so consider that a warning), comedy Campaign requirements (the boring, but vital stuff): Be friendly, reliable, and invested in the campaign and its story. Respect everyone at the table. Hate speech, discrimination, harassment, or privately messaging other players without their permission will not be tolerated. There will be no second chances for serious violations. Campaign features (the fun stuff): You can create almost any kind of character. A vampire elf? A werewolf artificer? A gun-toting raccoon with unresolved emotional problems (essentially Rocket Raccoon). Yes, you can. Just discuss your concept with me first so I can approve it (and it doesn't read like a God/Super Saiyan character). There are guns. Pistols, revolvers, sniper rifles. Plasma gun. Also, gun modifications. Hey, it's the future. Classes and subclasses? Sheeeee. There's a lot of them (Mystic is already taken though).

You and other people got locked up for a crime (that you may or not have commited). Recently a new method of punishment was put on practice where prisoners who had some potential go do quests and things that would be to dangerous to risk precious knight lifes, so instead, prisoner scum like YOU gets sent to do those dangerous mission. Best case the problem gets solved and you can be ready to  solve other things, worst case you die, but its not like your life matters rigth? Of course you will not be be doing this without payment, however your payment does not need to be gold or silver, you can instead request that your sentence be reduced from a couple months to even some years. You can decide to follow the rules and comply like an obedient dog or you can rebel and(maybe)suffer the consequences. We ABSOLUTELY accept new people, will love to teach you(im not omniscient though). We will be using Discord VC for calls, and Owlbear rodeo as VTT(Virtual TableTop), you can do your characters sheets wherever you like. I am COMPLETELY AGAINST AI, do not come at me with AI generated characters, if you need an image for your character use heroforge or draw it by hand, I dont care, just DONT USE AI! Interested people fill out this forms:https://forms.gle/9xg3nhr5ShsgWiTy5 The day CANNOT be changed, the hour however may be up to debate:)

I'm usually the forever DM but I have been in a slump recently and I know that what I need to get out of it is to go back to my roots and be a player. I'm looking for a group of 3 to 4 other players and a DM to play with me and I'd love to make some new friends aswell. I would love a campaign with a good balance of combat and roleplay but I also want roleplay to be an aspect in combat. I can work with essentially any genre (EX: Horror, high fantasy, political intrigue)

Black clouds boil overhead, signaling the impending storm set to ravage this section of the Sword Coast. At odds with the upcoming Highharvesttide, you hope to make it to Daggerford before the heavens above open up in a downpour that threatens to drown even ocean dwellers. In an unconscious motion, you reach into your bag, touching the reason you've even made the journey here..... Good day! I am your DM of 12 years, Jeidi, and I am looking for some brave adventurers to join in on a modified game of Curse of Strahd! This is a safe space, and I do not tolerate bigotry of any kind, as I myself am genderfluid. The big requirements for players are that you be respectful and communicative. I am looking at playing on Friday evenings either weekly or biweekly, time to be decided. I can host or we can find a space to play in. Any questions or interest, feel free to DM me, and I'll be happy to answer. Happy gaming, as, after all, the Mists await....

This is a livestreamed campaign. Weekly on Sundays starting at 7pm CET/CEST, going for 3 (or a little longer) hours. We did already have 4 players, but one has little time so we are thinking of making her character a recurring guest character. We are currently 3 Sessions + 1 Oneshot deep in the world of Praegisia. - The Eternal Summer Night The Kingdom of Velengard was prosperous for almost a thousand years, with its endless army of devoted knights and talented sorcerers. They were able to hold their own against those who wished to do them harm, winning war after war until the whole world of Praegisia knew of their might and power. Many wished to join Velengard's kingdom in search of work and studying, and they were welcomed with open arms by the Queen. Alas, even the mightiest kingdoms must fall eventually, though it was not because of war or internal conflict - it was because of what came to be known as The Eternal Summer Night. A faithful day came where the sun simply vanished out of the sky and the land was covered in endless darkness. What was curious was that only the Kingdom of Velengard had lost its light. It seemed that the other kingdoms and the rest of Praegisia remained unchanged. The Eternal Summer Night caused a decrease in resources and an increase in sickness. The lack of sunlight, though welcomed by some, was mostly shunned by others. Slowly, the Kingdom of Velengard began to lose its people. Those who remained either did so because of the Queen's orders or because of their own death wish. The priests at the temples begged their Gods to intervene. The sorcerers and wizards channeled magic in a vain attempt to find out just what was going on. In the end, nothing changed. Velengard, to this day, is still drowning in darkness.

This is a short homebrew campaign set in the animal world of Ecosia! This is hopefully the first of many more sessions to come in other modules and worlds to explore.  We are using 5e2024 rules with a bit of homebrew around the races to choose from as they are animal races. This one shot is made for 5 players starting at level 10. Characters have already been made if you are new to roleplaying and need a bit of help. It is more of fun/comedic story and hopefully not so daunting.  Not to reveal too much, but this is a mystery story with some horror elements. Players should be 18+ and all are welcome. This will be my first time DMing online so I look forward to giving it a go.

Hi there, Festenia is planned as a long term~ish campaign, set in the setting of the same name made by myself and player input In the style of typical high fantasy, we are currently 6 sessions in and have been looking for a 4th player for quite some time. Games are weekly on Saturday at 7pm cet,  last session concluded with the party witnessing a dragon attack on a town they were currently staying in. The part itself is currently made up of a phantom rouge, a light cleric and a psy warrior fighter. The rule set is mostly 2024 dnd mixed with some stuff from 2014 and very mild homebrew, although on request homebrew/ partnert material can be allowed (if it's balanced).   Game is a healthy mix of roleplay and combat I would say 65/35% respectively. A couple words to me Im currently 19 m, and first time dm, but ready to learn and accept feedback, and from what I have heard the other players seem to enjoy the games. Speaking of them we are all in the age range of 18-24, and one of the players doesn't want to run a game with a minor.  Now finally a few things about the Setting: Festenia is a continent featuring multiple nations struggling for power left after a event from the distant past where mortals rose against the gods to overthrow them, currently one such nation, the Dristin empire has declared war on the continents central place of commerce, the trade federation. Now different nations are forced to position themselves on one side of this conflict in order to either guarantee their own survival or to enrich themselves in ancient knowledge or Monetary power.  More infos are available if you are interested, we hope to see you in the game.

This continent-spanning campaign takes place in 535 PA. In the wake of a war that is still relatively recent, tensions are high between the countries of Ingentes. Banditry has been rising to alarmingly common levels, Druidic and Arcane magic is outlawed and seen a "Witchcraft" by the Holy Elysian Chamber, and no matter where you go, fear of the other countries and monsters that lurk in the dark is prevalent. This negativity is exactly what the forces that would destroy Ingentes need to spark the fires of war. In this campaign, there is a main questline and plenty of optional objectives. You can treat this like a standard hack-and-slash adventure if you'd like, or get embroiled in the mystery and political intrigue if it interests you! There's something for everyone here. Our campaign begins in Arcadia! Court Witch Aloysia seeks talented individuals she can hire for a personal mission. Whether you were invited or not, adventure awaits! (As a note, I definitely want to play on Sundays, but the exact time during the day is negotiable; furthermore, one of the players is a teenager learning to play the game.)
