Grael Infinite Plaguelands - Ruins of Hope

Homebrew
House rules, a custom setting, or a system the Game Master wrote themselves.
Roleplay focused
Conversation, character and story take up most of the table time.
Its been 40 years since the incident in Ion occured which would lead to its tragic fate. A strange winged creature broke through the titanic structure of the dome of the city. Whatever did clearly leading to its irreparability. Within few years the city became a desolate ruin and its citizens were forced to flee underground. Eventually the project to rebuild Ion was tasked to the main overseer - Regina Vivingon Leigh. Yet the overworld of the Baronny isnt entirely happy with the notion of Ion coming back. The nearby circle city of Elrond is determined to prevent this task. You all were tasked with scavenging the ruins of Old Ion to find secrets in it, something that could help Elrond find where the people of Ion are hiding and what was so special about Ion. Whether youre doing it out of curiosity, to earn favour with the rulers of Elrond, or simply for the reward isnt important. The important thing is that you come prepared. Its said that there are strange threats lurking in the shadows of the ruin. The DM Greeting TTRPG community. My name is Shiv, a 22 year english teacher/amateur musical performer/ drag queen and I hail from Poland. I have been DM'ing for 5+ years, including a weekly monday campaign which has been going regularly since august last year and will go on for another year at least. My DM'ing history is exclusive to dnd which is a system I have a certain mastery in reshaping to my whims. As a DM I am very pro homebrew (as you will see later in the post) and I encourage player creativity, as long as it fits the setting we're in. I prioritise story and plot and thus always make sure that character backstories and themes are tied to at least one prominent plot point. First part of the password is: The. I pride myself on connecting things quite organically and can do so halfway through the story so dont be worried about your characters dieing :3 Another thing i pride myself on is handling tough themes in stories with respect they require and subjecting characters to hardship. In my campaigns, and especially this one, victories are hard earned, but when you do earn them, its a triumph. Despite the above statement I dont enjoy punishing my players I actively need to force myself to give adequate consequences, but trust and believe - If you act stupid, you will get an appropriate response. On the topic of consequences I do have a zero nonsense policy on problematic behaviour. If I notice an issue, I will speak with the player and let them adress their behaviour. We're here to work together to tell a story not against each other. All this makes me sound like a serious person but I am very much a jokester and always try to liven the mood when possible. I just take my responsibility as DM quite seriously. I make more than half the maps I use as well as all the enemies you fight, magic items you get and I am always willing to make a subclass for someone If asked nicely. The World In short Grael is a post-post-apocalyptic setting. The apocalyptic event happened way over 3000 years ago and the world learnt to live around it. The Second part of the password is: Ground Progress has been made both magically and technologically, including a broad train system and everyone's favourite airships. All this progress is mainly in opposition to the ever present threat of Decay - the magical force that aims to corrode and rot away everything, living and unliving. The pace of progress is combated by the pace of the Decay strengthening, seeming like a futile attempt to simply slow down the inevitable doom of all life. Those who can bear some Decay intensity will in open settlements like the broad circle cities and the water-fairing Mazzeras, but others hide in the steampunk Fortresses, colourful Carnival Courts or underground all the way to the underdark (more info in the Grael master doc below). Overall this world combines different visions of a post-apocalyptic world with different types of dystopian societies to create a truly one of a kind Existentialism nightmare. The Player The perfect player for this campaign is someone who is writing out their character on a psychological level. In this game choices matter and when I say they matter, They Matter, how you choose to approach the conflicts will dictate how the different microcosms will change. Thus how the character approaches choice-making, what choices they make, how do they argue them and how do they live with consequences is chief. This player must be consistent. The Third part of the password is: Awaits. The game doesnt stop when someone has to miss a session. The only way a campaign can live is through players who make this a priority of some sorts to them, not show up when they feel like it. I am looking for storytellers, people who want to achieve something with tje characters they write. Intentionality is key and so is creating a proper theme. I dont need 20+ pages of backstory, half is enough often times. Some of the most interesting characters I had in my campaigns had bulletpoint backstories. You cant be rules rigid. This is s roleplay first campaign. You say what you want to do and my job is to tell you if it is possible and if its see through the consequences accordingly. Sometimes I might need to be corrected on how certain rules work, but oftentimes when I dont do something rules as written, there is a reason. This also extends to the fact I am veru homebrew forward and have some homebrew rules of my own. Finally, I am running this campaign for my friend, after last time we did it in this setting fell apart. Me and my friend tend to be obnoxious together, but we can buckle down and have serious moments and Rp. I expect the same from you all, dear applicants. The Game Still awake? I can put on some subway surfers in the background if it is boring. We will be playing 5e 2014 dnd however we will be utilising the Weapon Mastery feature from 2024 as well as using 2024 variants of spells for healing (mandatory) and other spells (optional). The game takes place on Tuesdays 8pm to 11 pm CEST. The fourth part of the password is: You. The day and time is non-negotiable. There might be cases where we might want to run longer just to finish something so I would ask you be open to that. Voice and all communication will be done through the dedicated discord server. The game itself will be held in foundry (if i figure out how to use it) Next tuesday I plan there to be a session 0 but it might be postponed to the next week If I need more time vetting applicants. The actual game will begin 2 weeks after session 0, to ensure proper time for character creation. The game will start at level 3, but I tend to have a quick pace with level ups. Applying Since I already have 1 player, I will be looking for 3-4 players to fill up the roster. I will be collecting application till friday evening when I will close the form so probably around 10 pm. People I select from the form will move on to the voice interview portion where after all calls are made I shall inform all voice-vetted applicants of their verdicts. I will not be contacting people not accepted on the application form stage. To apply you must fill-out the form, I will not be reading any private reddit messages from anyone. All answers that you need to find out are already in the post. Weekdays only, a group decides on day & time Most people will probably play between 16:00 – 21:00 (GMT+0) Will be played in Discord voice chat, "Theatre of the Mind" playstyle (means no VTT) My Discord (weebseatshit) *PREMISE* You are dragged into a dangerous encounter together with other unlucky ones. Now you are bonded whether you want it or not. Since you are a witness, some people want you dead, watch your back(s) & trust no one It's an RP-focused, Forgotten Realms based, custom (homebrew) campaign with an emphasis on story, characters & adventures Ratio: 40 Roleplay/40 Exploration/20 Combat Starting level is 1, standard array for abilities Spells become cantrips, you can cast them without components or GP Some spells that affect game's balance & world, may be forbidden. It'll be discussed Instead of HP you have healthbars, & you don't know how big are your enemies healthbars Healthbars are rather "cinematic". Depending from how much dmg you receive, i'll adjust your condition. But in general: 6 HP: Sorcerer, Wizard 8 HP: Bard, Cleric, Druid, Monk, Rogue, Warlock 10 HP: Fighter, Paladin, Ranger 12 HP: Barbarian Only these races are allowed: Human, Elf (Moon, Wood), Dwarf, Goliath, Tiefling (Purple, Pink, Blue), Tystling (a human with cat ears (& eyes)) Artificer & Psion aren't allowed I'll describe locations & looks with little to no detail Just like with the books, i'd prefer that every player imagined their own stuff (& because there may be an info that player may not get or just ignore) A tystling is similar to a cat Monochrome darkvision Enhanced senses: smell, hearing, vision, touch & balance Soft step: walking is almost noiseless (unless a tystling has something noisy on), running is slightly quieter comparing to other races A tystling is shorter than an elf, but taller than a dwarf A tystling is slim like an elf, but lighter than an elf, with smaller muscles. That makes a tystling even more agile & dexterous than an elf, but it's very hard for a tystling to lift or carry medium heavy things

Fights, tactics and initiative take up most of the table time.
Welcome to the Somnium Shard. A sundered paradise; knowledge, gods and power's all known throughout the land, its history coveted by lost tomes, cosmic knowledge and crazed minds. With earliest carvings detailing a different world that may have been the Shard's muse, the inspiration for reality. However not all could be replaced, and the world's panorama was in its own natural discourse, with the residents at home. With that overly grand intro done welcome to my personal world, a multi-year labour of love that I'm still working on with every session, a sandbox type world for players to discover, learn about and influence as they desire. Designed as an open campaign for players to fit into as they wish, follow the threads of their backstory, or start a questline that leads to them swearing loyalty to a kingdom. Whatever it is you feel you want to do in a fantasy world I'll accommodate it as well as I can. However do not think that this means everything is free, the Somnium Shard is still a living and breathing world, thievery, murder and the sort will have consequences, as will trying to steal that magical artifact. You'll have to contend with mages scrying on you, rangers tracking you and bounty hunters after you if you upset the wrong people. So come and join the adventure, see where your characters can take you, how they can evolve and develop in this world with a DM that can handle whatever you feel like throwing at him. An unwitting Paladin has released an ancient Lich. Jailed for ages, it is now back and undead assault the living with renewed vigour. Can you stop it? Welcome to the Somnium Shard. A sundered paradise; knowledge, gods and power's all known throughout the land, its history coveted by lost tomes, cosmic knowledge and crazed minds. With earliest carvings detailing a different world that may have been the Shard's muse, the inspiration for reality. However not all could be replaced, and the world's panorama was in its own natural discourse, with the residents at home. Hello and this is the introduction to my most recent open game for my homebrew world, The Somnium Shard. The game is a special edition of my normal open sandbox style that focuses instead on the undead and release of a lich. The theme of this game in particular is that of dealing with undeath and all of the horror and creatures that come with it. There is still a lot of room for your backstory, side missions and all manner of varying fun however the over-arching narrative is tied to this. As a sandbox, you are welcome to tackle this threat however you see fit of course as the world is open to you however with this pre-established major threat. The game is beginner friendly and we are happy to help you get into the game and learn it.

"You remember our venerable house, opulent and imperial. It is a festering abomination! I beg you. Return home; claim your birthright, and deliver our family from the ravenous, clutching shadows of the Darkest Dungeon." Hi everyone I'm looking for 4-6 players for a Darkest Dungeon themed old school D&D campaign. I'll be running it through Old School Essentials (A repackaging of Basic/Expert D&D) with some fairly heavy homebrewing to make it fit the source material (Stress, Quirks, Unique Heroes) It should be fairly accessible to anyone, regardless of your experience with D&D or old school play. The overall focus will be on delving the dungeons of the region, recovering artefacts, amassing wealth and getting powerful enough to finally defeat the evil deep beneath the manor. Currently looking at Sunday 6pm CET / 12pm EDT with some room for flexibility based on replies. Play will be on Discord. Open to any enjoyer of Darkest Dungeon, regardless of experience. Drop me a DM if you're interested and tell me who your favourite hero is. I look forward to hearing from you!

A flying city of portals, the City of Doors has closed. The gods have decreed that The Reckoning has come and the Material Plane's time is over. All that is left now is the Endlands, immeasurable leagues of sunless wastes, fled by all who can escape to the Outer Planes. But something else moves in the shadows. Might there be something worse than the end of the Material Plane after all? In this mash-up of Planescape and Stephen King's Dark Tower epic, you will explore a reality moving on, discover the secrets of its creation, and decide its fate once and for all. Your heroes have come together from across D&D's time and space to a land of sunless light, unpredictable magic, and guns. Lots of guns. Let's hope you're quick on the draw. Built for players who are comfortable with 5e and excited for a twist on its core rules, Spireward Bound follows a semi-episodic structure. Every few sessions, your characters are confronted with a new, exciting situation on your journey, each of which is designed for open-ended adventure. Our adventure is well underway, but there's room at the fireside for more travelers! Our Tarot Hunters are now about halfway through their quest to the Spire, coming to believe they have to save all of creation from the hunger of the Crimson King. They have just taken the very first steps in pursuit of the Justice Tarot...

Conversation, character and story take up most of the table time.
About the story 6 years. That's how long the war between your home country Cambiamento and The Empire of Stasti took. 6 cruelin years of lost, brutality and the fight for your freedom. Lead by your new king, King Abruzzo, who had dethroned the old queen, Queen Vittoria, you sought to find peace within your border again, that had be oppressed by The Empire for over two centuries. And then four years ago you finally achieved just that. Queen Vittoria was hanged and The Empire agreed to free Cambiamento from its grip. Four years ago you, who had fought as a group for so long, said each other's farewell. Thinking that you could finally learn how to live again, how to use your new earned freedom. None of you ever thought to see each other again. Four years have passed both quickly and way too slow. And just as you thought you had fought your way back into normalcy a letter arrived. The sender? The Royal House of Cambiamento. About the campaign  Welcome to Cambiamento, a complete homebrew campaign! Being set in the vast world of Possblità, you play as a group of soldiers who are just trying to find your way back into life. But with the letter of the king that doesn't seem to be as easy as you thought. I'm trying to make this a long term campaign where your characters and their choices matter. Especially looking for people who are more interested in RP and exploration than combat. And ofc looking for people who are LGBTQIA+ friendly. Lines and veils  All sorts of Triggers can occur except for anything relating extreme gore and spiders, as well as depiction of SA, violence against children or animals.  About the DM Hello, I'm Marco and 24 y/o. I'm a forever DM living in Germany and I have just enough time for yet another campaign. I'm a transman with severe ADHD so expect me to be really focused on preparing sessions. Outside of that I'm also really into games, folklore and everything true crime related c: I'm excited to meet you!

No paid games
On a player profile - you are looking for free games and are not interested in paid ones.
I'm a game designer, and I'm looking for a group of great players to help me playtest the crap out of it. Anyone willing to playtest will get a free digital copy of Prosperon on the house. I was thinking of running sessions every other week on Saturdays, since I already run a podcast campaign weekly. If you're interested, sign up and let’s have a blast. To give you an idea of the gameplay style, it’s about 65% roleplay and 35% combat, though that really depends on the group’s dynamics. If you all want more combat, I can absolutely make that happen. The game is a cyberpunk/biopunk mix set in a dystopian society on a distant planet far from Earth. Humanity colonized a world called Khaelmora, later renamed Prosperon by the human settlers. If you're interested, let’s get those dice rolling and have a good time. I just wanted to add that I’m also looking to start a play‑by‑post group. I still want to run a VTT game, of course, but a play‑by‑post format could be fun too.

Iron Gods campaign Pathfinder 1e, some homebrew

Newbie friendly
New players are welcome, and nobody expects you to know the rules beforehand.
Homebrew
House rules, a custom setting, or a system the Game Master wrote themselves.
PF1e tends to be combat focused, lots of teamwork, but there's puzzles, riddles, investigation too. I don't charge money, game time is Fridays at 6pm central. I have been GMing weekly since 1997 or so, cut my gaming teeth on AD&D first ed. I go above and beyond for my players! This campaign is Discord video chat, but we could change time/day if the other players are willing and able. Don't worry about the mechanics, they are a lot easier than most believe, I am a good teacher (or so I have been told repeatedly over decades). I do not use a VTT. Tried. So I draw it out on a wet erase board, and if there's only one or two enemies, I don't bother and keep it in my head (I have the IQ to be able to do so, and then some). NO FURRIES! If you go into this expecting to create your character without regard to the setting or the group composition, you can kiss your entitled butt goodbye. Even if I did nothing different as GM, the group would suffer and your PC might not make it. I do get your back when I get the chance if you are willing to try a class you don't normally. Lots of stupid puns and jokes. My campaigns tend to be accidentally lethal, and my NPC's react within the bounds of their Intelligence scores. I poke players into beefing up their defenses in the low levels (in between game sessions), I value intelligence and wisdom in a player. I have no problem with potent PC's, so long as they play well with others and make sense. I tend to be very helpful in between game sessions, giving as much relevant info as possible without spoiling the plot, with less info for veteran players. Quite military friendly, as my NPCs tend to react realistically and tactically. I am extremely good at teaching, not just game mechanics but also tactics, even interaction with fellow players. During game sessions, I play all my NPC's to the hilt, so if they are actively trying to kill your PC, that's how it is. I rarely fudge dice results, when I do it's for drama's sake, trying to make the game exciting and interesting. With Iron Gods (this takes you all the way to 17th level) you gotta make the characters WITH MY DIRECT ASSISTANCE in a video or audio chat as I make sure they fit with the group and campaigns, plus I give out extra benefits (like gear). We currently have a female aasimar Cleric, a female unchained sylph Rogue, a male elf Alchemist, and a male angelkin aasimar melee Fighter. They are now 2nd level, and we could use a Gunslinger (probably Techslinger archetype is best given the campaign), and a Wizard magic and tech item crafter/Technomancer (who gets assistance from the Cleric and Alchemist, and I came up with a Wizard build that grants additional 3 feats for item crafting so you can have more freedom), or another high int spellcaster of some sort, who could supplement the wizard in magic item crafting feats, spread the load more so to speak. It's for the Iron Gods campaign, it has science fiction alien tech in it, not just medieval fantasy. Iron Gods is all about alien technology meets medieval types, sorta might and magic vs science fiction tech, people say it has a lot of Conan the Cimmerian vibe to it. The campaign seems to have robots, undead, aberrations running around, so having alternatives to mind affecting stuff is a good idea. That isn't to say you can't, it just means have more than one way to mess with the tactics of the enemy. Also, since real world firearms tech was really bad at this point in technology, you probably won't be using black powder firearms much if at all. Also, there's an area in the campaign where you can't use summoning spells, might want some alternatives. Because the Cleric and Alchemist are taking 2 tech crafting feats each, and a feat that lets them pitch in with the magic item speed crafting, all that's left is the magic items and the levels in Technomancer for anyone taking over the Wizard, plus the build I came up with gives 3 bonus feats on top of the normal general ones you get every odd numbered level. I can reduce this required amount of magic item crafting feats still further if a 6th player takes another spellcaster of some sort, like a Bard/Magus/Witch. They might take a Gunslinger instead, dunno. I sure hope the group can find someone to take the Wizard over, I am sending some good stuff that character's way in the campaign. Plus, any spell that the Alchemist and Wizard spell lists is shared with the other for repertoire (a little house rule of mine to help out). I have a giant list of races available, some of which are androgynous, others exclusively male, others exclusively female, all of which are official save for 2 (Sylvan elves, basically archer and Ranger types, and Trollans). I instituted sexual dimorphism attribute modifiers to get players running more female characters, right now for example in Iron Gods we will have 3 female characters and one male (but played by a woman and 3 men but not the classes you'd think). Subtract 5 points from Strength for female characters, and add 2 points of Constitution, 2 points of Charisma, and 1 point of Wisdom. Please note that Elves,Sylvan elves, Drow, Trollans (based on Orko from masters of the universe cartoon from the 80s), Gathlain, Ghoran, and Wyrwood are not subject to this ruling, so there is no difference mechanically between male or female characters for them. Interestingly, female characters are mathematically better for Oracles, Clerics (so long as you stay away from melee combat), Sorcerers, Psychics, Mesmerists, Mediums, basically anyone that doesn’t need a high Strength score, and could use the increased Constitution, Charisma, and a little bit of Wisdom. Yes, there are cheap ways to dramatically increase your carrying limits, I can show you. Skill based classes like the Unchained Rogue and Bard tend to be a mixed result since a low Strength impacts carrying limits, Climb, Swim, and sometimes Intimidate. Male characters make better warrior types, so Fighters (melee and bows but not crossbows), Paladins, Samurai, Unchained Barbarians, Unchained Monks, Cavaliers, Inquisitors, Rangers tend to be male. Basically it pokes men into running characters that think in a more indirect, feminine way, and women into thinking in a more masculine, direct way by poking them into classes that have the right mindset/tactics. I really enjoy variety, and the prewritten campaigns tend to have a lot of different activities, not just "dungeon crawls". Banned Classes/Races Summoner (and Unchained version), Arcanist, Bloodrager, Brawler, Hunter, Investigator, Shaman, Skald, Slayer, Swashbuckler, Warpriest (this is all of the Advanced Class Guide), Vigilante, Shifter, all mythic paths are banned permanently (broken ruleset). Half-elves, Half-orcs are banned permanently; they are too mechanically similar to humans and don’t make sense genetically. Note that I never allow 3rd party (non Paizo) material (unless I honestly think they are balanced and appropriate but you gotta ask first), and I do not allow material that I don’t have access to personally. I am willing to get new material, however. I am the same way about the Gunslinger (need advanced tech available), Ninja (very culture centric), Samurai (very culture centric), Antipaladin (evil aligned only), Assassin (evil aligned only) classes. For example, we are playing Iron Gods, and you get access to alien guns so the Gunslinger is welcome. I won't run Rise of the Runelords, Carrion Crown, Giantslayer since I already did them.  These are the Pathfinder campaigns I have: Rise of the Runelords, Jade Regent, Shattered Star, Return of the Runelords, Reign of Winter, Mummy's Mask, Iron Gods, Curse of the Crimson Throne, Skull & Shackles, Hell's Rebels, Ruins of Azlant, Carrion Crown, Tyrant's Grasp, Strange Aeons. The difficult campaigns I have access to are Council of Thieves (3.5 have to adjust it), Giantslayer (kinda boring starting book 4 for the GM), Goblin adventure series (very short), Hell's Vengeance (evil aligned PCs), Kingmaker (3.5 have to adjust it), Second Darkness (3.5 have to adjust it). Only a few APs exist that I won't run period.  That’s not even counting the dungeon crawl classics adventure modules. Reign of Winter will let you see 18th level since I tacked on a module at the end, Carrion Crown only 15th, all other PF campaigns 17th. No gestalt classes, nothing outside the list below. Each new campaign, take a different class and role. My groups last for years, not weeks like so many others do, in multiple campaigns. These are the Pathfinder classes I use: Warriors: Unchained Barbarian, Unchained Monk (very SE Asian culture centric), Paladin, Fighter, Ranger (and possibly Gunslinger if I run Iron Gods or Reign of Winter, Samurai if running Jade Regent), Cavalier Skill Monkeys: Bard, Ranger, Unchained Rogue, possibly Ninja if running Jade Regent Divine casters: Druid, Cleric, Oracle, Inquisitor Arcane casters: Sorcerer, Wizard, Witch, Alchemist, Magus Psychics: Kineticist, Medium, Mesmerist, Occultist, Psychic, Spiritualist No politics of any kind: right, left, sexuality, real world religions, excessive feminism/whatever etc not allowed, if you have a need to make a fuss about that, you will be kicked out (all sorts tend to be in my groups). It's perfectly fine to have those views, but don't bring them to the game (this is meant to be fun, social, intellectually challenging). If you have major psych problems that get in the way of simple social interaction (explosive outbursts etc) don't contact me. I eventually ask for telephone number just in case of you not showing up to game and you didn't tell me otherwise. It's for emergency stuff, like if someone gets sick or something and I gotta cancel the game. I do care about my players! And yes, I am meticulous about not calling for funsies.  Listen, I have some rules for players. 1 Give me warning 24 hours before the game if you are gonna cancel. I need the time to tell the others and cancel the game if I don't have enough people to play. This is non negotiable! 2 Play well with others. If you are too disruptive, I will boot you after several private warnings. 3 Take a different role each new campaign. Try new things! 4 You have to show up to play 75% of the time. If you cancel too many times, there's no point to having you in the group. 5 Sometimes you will be required to take a role you don't really want because the rest of the group made their picks already. If this happens, the next campaign I will make sure you get first pick as to your role/class. 6 If you have to make sacrifices for the group, like blowing feats on item crafting etc, I will try to send good things your way. Teamwork is important.

Teamwork is important. I have been GMing since 1997 or so, cut my gaming teeth on AD&D first ed. I go above and beyond for my players. I am very adept at teaching, btw. This campaign is on Mondays at 6pm Central time Discord video chat, but we could change time/day if the other players are willing and able. Set in Chicago, I've added abilities to the NPCs to support their discipline powers, and set the whole timeline from Chicago 1 to 2 and beyond more gradually, changed who lives. Note that I have changed some of the clans a bit, like switched Gangrel(Sabbat) and City Gangrel (Camarilla), turned certain Brujah into True Brujah, a Ventrue into a Nosferatu, that sort of thing. Vampire has characters that are difficult to create without my assistance if you don't know how the numbers and discipline powers work (you distribute dots, there are no classes). However the game play dice mechanics/rules are easy as heck. The hard part is that it demands more forethought to play, because there's a lot of deceptive NPCs, including your own. It is oddly more ethical/moral than medieval fantasy games by far, even though you don't play a hero normally, and even though you're a vampire feeding on humans and aren't human yourself. It's darker I suppose, lots of intrigue and figuring out what is really going on. Kinda like watching Babylon 5 or Dune, you have to take notes to recall everything that could be vital later. A LOT less combat than medieval fantasy games! It's rare, but nasty when it does occur. Maturity is advised. Note that I broke my campaign down in a timeline, it can be altered by PC actions, even down to the year and month.  VERY DETAILED homebrew campaign that can be changed given PC choices. RIght now they are in late 1990 somewhere between Oct and December, you will get the PC's average xp to start with, along with a host of extra little benefits outside what the creation rules normally grant. You dictate the parameters, I figure out how to make the mechanics do what you want and tell you about potential problems, and I pick out flaws so as to give you your own story arc. Its also a great way to get rid of problem NPCs. The Dark Fate flaw is reserved for anyone meeting their end during Gehenna, the end of the world. See, the Antediluvians rise, and they are hungry for their clan members.... That doesn't mean you can't play, you can still run other characters even after your main one croaks. Official list of clans/bloodlines you can take in Chicago compatible with the group as it is: Nosferatu (must take Dark Fate flaw), Toreador, Ventrue, Brujah, Gangrel (Sabbat), Malkavian, City Gangrel (Camarilla), Tzimisce (must take the Dark Fate flaw), Gargoyle, Caitiff (Anarch typically), Assamite (Milwaukee Sabbat), True Brujah (camarilla). Obscure list (you can take them if you want, but you won't have support from fellow clan members in Chicago): Daughter of Cacophony, Nagarajah, Lamia, Salubri warrior. Got a Cappadocian (a hospital morgue doctor and a necromancer), Salubri (one Healer(an FBI agent), one Watcher (a homicide Chicago police detective), one Warrior, and Lasombra (an amateur boxer and criminal lawyer, he wants to go Camarilla), and a True Brujah rebellious philsopher. I have set up each pc to have fast growth, to have really good rolls for their disciplines right away. The party could use a member that has Vicissitude, Animalism as clan, or possibly Thaumaturgy. Luckily there's a 5 point merit that allows anyone to buy clan xp rates, hint hint.  If you go into this expecting to create your character without regard to the setting or the group composition, you can kiss your entitled butt goodbye. Even if I did nothing different as GM, the group would suffer and your PC might not make it. I do get your back when I get the chance if you are willing to try a clan you don't normally. You gotta also pay for mentor ratings since you need a teacher to increase your disciplines outside of Celerity, Fortitude, Potence. BTW, I made these 3 powers much easier to use, and less vitae expensive. If you pick from the obscure list, you can BUY up to 7th generation, but you blow 6 background dots to pull it off.  Caitiff are interesting, I made them able to teach ANY discipline they learn; normally the 13 clans can only teach their clan disciplines. A Tremere is possible, but you'd need to be a diehard Anarch (meaning the local Tremere want your keister dead, although good news for you that the Chicago ones are less than competent). If you don't know the clans, I can give you information but you will need the V20 core rulebook (learning the setting and abilities but not the disciplines), the dark ages core rulebook (mostly just for the super powers/disciplines), tome of secrets (all forms of vampire magic, even Obtenebration), and Erciyes Fragments (this will feature heavily in the campaign, its the Vampire bible of sorts including prophecies) books. Also a total of 20 d10's, basically two matched sets of 10 d10's, but the 2 sets cannot match each other. Preferably translucent dice, not solid. Chuck out any that have bubbles inside. Game always starts at 6pm central Mondays. The Guide to the Camarilla from the Revised edition might be handy, but not strictly necessary. Prince's Primer is nice for understanding elder vampires' mindset. They are very manipulative, and deceptive. This is a copy of an update I gave to a player that missed a session: Both Michael Payne Toreador and Son of the Malkavians are dead, and Jay found another body in the basement, this time of a dead boy, a formerly months old vampire Caitiff. His name was Neon, and Damien of the Brujah (one of 2 anarch leaders was caring/teaching for Neon) Damien will have to be told. Neon was chained via manacles to the basement floor in Son's Skokie residence, his throat ripped out and his face gnawed upon. Evidence was found that Son was blackmailing Horatio Ballard into insane and demeaning acts. You could get a major boon from Ballard using this, or use it against him in other ways. (the players gave this information to the Nosferatu, who now owe them big time)  Ballard apparently has been naughty. Michael accidentally killed Son, and Michael is dead thanks to the party knocking him into torpor, and the elders ending him. recall, Michael was suicidal, and homicidal after the party ended his ex wife. plus had a rep for being a thug who used to cause chaos your character Salubri Healer just rescued the young couple that Son was psychologically torturing, and you shot Michael (bashing damage, just reduced him to torpor) as he tried to use Ben the Cappadocian as a shield

If you’re a great fit for the table, I’ll send over the lore primers and everything you need to start building your character! A BIT ABOUT ME: Hello, my name is Aron, I’m 34 and I started playing this game as the forever DM just before COVID hit and have been DMing multiple weekly games since. I am for the most part fairly introverted which this hobby has helped deal with, and while I may not do all the little funny voices (it’s a thing I’m working on) I’m a sucker for the Rule of Cool and a good story! And what better story then one you build together as a collaboration with other like minded individuals?! Outside of D&D my interests revolve heavily around music, movies, and other general nerd things

Isekai as Monsters !

Paid game
The Game Master charges a fee to run the game.
Homebrew
House rules, a custom setting, or a system the Game Master wrote themselves.
About the Campaign: I have tried doing isekai dnd before, but what I want to do this time around is players being reincarnated as low-level monsters for the first few sessions and then gaining their first levels later down the line. Would be pretty hard game, as monsters would be at disadvantage, but who knows what might come out of it. Planning to also run it as a combat heavy, dungeon survival campaign. Players would be able to evolve their characters with certain circumstances, including sacrificing souls of humanoids for a ritual. This evolution would be a custom mechanic and a way to get extra features both for your race, and your class. About time: I am planning to have sessions run at least 3 hours. This would be 2 different groups at 2 different time. One at Fridays 6 PM EST, another at Saturdays 7 PM EST About DM : I am an experienced DM of 6 years making a new campaign open for new players to join. I'll be happy to teach and explain anything about Dnd. I am happy to accommodate any type of player, as long as they are not disruptive and are not causing issues for me or any other players. I tend to do more RP then Combat, so expect about a 60/40 split, if not 70/30. About cost: I ask for 20 USD payment at least within 24 hours after the session. Refund will be made with reasonable situations as well as refunded at the end of session 1, as that one is a trial, if you're not willing to continue. About character creation: Lvl 1 start. All character can be created before the game or during session 0. Stat will be rolled with a minimum of 70

Traveller: Imperium

Homebrew
House rules, a custom setting, or a system the Game Master wrote themselves.
Newbie friendly
New players are welcome, and nobody expects you to know the rules beforehand.
You are outlaws, operating at the fringes of the once great Kardashev Imperium. Whether driven by ambition, discontent or simple necessity, you seek to find your own fortunes. As radicals and revolutionaries seek to topple the Tzar's reign, and her secret police crack down in an attempt to stem the surge of discontent opportunities are opening for people such as yourself. Perhaps you wish to shape these changing times, to recover lost honours or reshape the future order; or perhaps you simply wish to make it to tomorrow better than today. Either way, times of change present opportunities for the bold.  So, prelude aside, this campaign is an criminal focused Traveller game, set in my original setting, the Kardashev Imperium (Think something inspired by 1890s-1910s Imperial Russia). You as PC's will be doing a range of jobs in the legal fringes of this setting, primarily a mixture of smuggling and heists, with hauling cargo/passengers on the side. Once you make it out of the first adventure you will have your own ship also. The campaign will be a sandbox-ish game, but with a long term focus on building a narrative based on the jobs you take and events that play out in doing said jobs.  Looking at running through Voice on Discord, and Fantasy Grounds as VTT.  As a GM, I generally go for a game where Narrative is supported by mechanics. I'm willing to wing it where it makes more sense, but value mechanical systems to create a certain predictability/consistency to the world. Equally however, I think a primary skill of any good GM is knowing when to rely on mechanics, and when they aren't necessary.  I like to encourage players to have a good sense of their characters, but also to leave space to discover more about who their characters are through play. I don't always make the odds against you fair, but will try to adjudicate impartially. If you come up with something creative, I generally try not to get precious about disruptions to my plans. (Frankly, there are few things as fun on my end as when the PC's come up with something completely unexpected, or approach a task in a way I never thought of). If the odds aren't fair, I don't expect you to play fair either.  Looking to run 7PM Saturdays my time (UTC+13). Weekly. Usually 2-3 hour sessions.

Runial (Homebrew)

Homebrew
House rules, a custom setting, or a system the Game Master wrote themselves.
Newbie friendly
New players are welcome, and nobody expects you to know the rules beforehand.
The campaign takes place on a homebrew world called Runial. The civilizations that inhabit it are: Civils, the alliance of demi humans such as humans, elves, dwarves, gnomes, halflings, orcs, goblins, and any other manner of humanoid beings. Ferals, which are more animal than humanoid, anthropomorphic creatures made up of any animal species you can imagine. Pseudofauna, which are a mix of demi human and some animal trait. Examples of this include holstaur, winged humans, merpeople and so on. They're distrusted by both Civil and Feral societies though are free to dwell within either albeit with some difficulties. Otherworlders, mysterious beings with special powers that are resistant to Runian natives. They can be any Runian race, although none of them arrive with memories of how they came to be. Civilization for the most part on Runial can be compared to the 1800s. The most advanced parts of the world have access to basic amenities such as rudimentary plumbing and electricity. Weaponry has advanced up to single action revolvers and lever action rifles. Runial in recent times has been plagued by a mysterious weather phenomenon known as the Aetherwind, a warm gentle breeze that rises from the ground, bringing with it motes of multicolored orbs of mana that float gently towards the sky. Any living thing caught in the Aetherwind is quickly and horribly mutated, rarely surviving the process. Alongside the appearance of the Aetherwind came the arrival of beings known as Otherworlders, people with special abilities that boast high resistance to attacks from Runian natives, making them difficult to combat without extreme measures. The Aetherwind began at the most northern point of Runial and over time has crept slowly to the south, pushing the Civil races down towards Feral territories. Ferals, in an attempt to retain their lands, have declared a defensive war on Civils to prevent their encroachment and Civils, desperate to escape the Aetherwind, grab what land they can to survive. The Aetherwind can also appear in random pockets anywhere on Runial, making nowhere truly safe. You are an adventurer that has woken up in an alien looking laboratory with no memories of who you once were or what has been done to you. After a narrow escape, you're now looking for answers alongside others that have also escaped the facility. Note: The game has themes of violence and is somewhat dark in nature without becoming too edgy. I do not focus on overtly sexual themes. We are partially on the second act of the campaign and are looking for 2 additional players for a long term commitment. I prefer newer players and don't mind teaching them, but veterans are ok too. My campaign has some homebrew and mixed elements. I DO use generative AI in creation of character images and some tokens in Foundry. I do NOT use AI in any part of my worldbuilding, character creation, or story progression. The session will take place over Discord mostly through text and voice, but for some sequences such as combat Foundry will be used. If this info dump was enough to entice you, feel free to message me!

Conversation, character and story take up most of the table time.
The Campaign: Chronicles of Mr. Crow's Society of Best Friends "Sentient Crow seeks squad of best friends for playing in the rain, daring adventures, and casual dinner parties. Compensation provided. I am a real crow." You have responded to a personal ad from Mr. Crow, a reclusive and wealthy financier of the revolution. He has a few tasks in mind for you to complete together. Undertake some quests, eat cheese cubes with little toothpicks, and fund the revolution through rampant corvid mischief while protecting your charge from others (and himself). The Game Master charges a fee to run the game.
Homebrew
House rules, a custom setting, or a system the Game Master wrote themselves.
System: Fabula Ultima (no books required) Platform: Discord and Foundry (you will not need to purchase Foundry to play this game) Format: Live Time: Now sure yet, I'm trying to find players first and then we'll talk about times (I'm in EST) Tone: Mostly lighthearted, but it will have it's more serious/darker moments Safety Tools: I always use Lines & Veils, X-card, and Open Door Policy Requirements: 13+, beginners and experts welcome, I'm more of a role play heavy gm, so come to the table ready to roleplay. Price: $20 per person unless we get up to at least 5 people, then the price will be $15 per person per session. I'm still working on the story, so I don't have much to say about it other than it'll be fun for everyone even if it has a slightly more female centric topic. The Setting is going to take place in the Ever After High Universe which is a Doll line and internet series (you do not have to have seen the series to play in this game), but I will be bringing in some darker topics. I want to go back to the roots of Fairy tales and have some of the more gruesome aspects. I have 1 player already that I got in contact with on Discord. So I will be looking for at most 5 more players, a minumim of 2.

I am looking for 3–4 players for an open-ended campaign set in the Gundam Universal Century timeline!  we will use Owlbear About the Campaign: Timeline: Starting during the One Year War (OYW) and continuing for as long as the story takes us—until the squad either falls in battle or decides to retire. Player Choice Matters: Your starting faction, objectives, and assets will be dictated by the choices you make as a group. You have the power to change the course of UC history or become another victim of its tragedy. Sandbox & Dynamic Storytelling: This is a heavy sandbox campaign. I love building the world around player motivations and goals. Some sessions will be purely character-driven roleplay with little to no combat, while others will drop you straight into gritty, intense battlefields. Custom Art: As a GM bonus, I can provide custom sprite art for your custom Mobile Suits and potentially your characters! What I Ask from Players: Patience & Feedback: I am a first-time GM stepping over to the other side of the screen for my first full campaign (after running a couple of one-shots). I might make mistakes, but I am very open to constructive tips and feedback! Roleplay Focus: We are here to craft a compelling story together, not just min-max or go on kill streaks. If you want to shape the Universal Century, this is your chance.

Conversation, character and story take up most of the table time.
The Strangers From the Outskirts... A plunge into the Depths of the Project Moon universe! Hello, I'm NoyVye! Your local Project Moon enthusiast! I come to you with the proposal to embark with me on a journey through the meaning of being Human, of being true to one's self, of what it means to find solace in the moments of utmost darkness and horror. In this iteration of the games saga, players will undetake the role of outsiders from a war torn, far away zone of the Outskirts, continents away from the City... And, in one way or another, they shall find themselves roaming the concrete jungle of horror. The premise: You are soldiers, citizens of one of the many husks of nations of the Ourskirts. The Lands, as you know them, are host of war after war, where mankind still battles itself over flags which meaning has been lost to time. One day, a message arrives at your doorstep, you have been selected to take part of an exploration party that is to go study the Nebula, a meteorological phenomena that has been eating away at the world... Until you saw, a pillar of light. Join your fellows in the adventure, and decide on whether you will call The City... Home, or forever leave it behind. IF you can, Stranger. We will use Take5, an indie TTRPG that allows a great deal of character customization and freedom of build! Perfect to take on the Denizens of this hellscape. This campaign takes heavy inspiration from various Cyberpunk Genres: Obviously, PM's games and stories, MGS Saga, Cyberpunk 2020 to 2077, Signalis, Tom Clancy's: The Division, Ghost in the Shell and The Forever Winter!  This game takes heavy creative freedom when it comes to the Outskirts and other City related lore that wasn't expanded too much on yet, inclusing some factions or characters that may not feel too "Project Moon-ey", the game will have it's own take on things like action and adventure. Depending on the players' OOC preferences, you can expect more or less use of Canon locations, Events and Characters. Who knows, you might even be able to meet THE Limbus Company! Characters and Canon will however be treated with the utmost respect and proper characterization. Game will mostly depend on Theater of Mind, but Owlbear Rodeo can be used for support! VC for combat coordination or overall to chill during play! Venue takes place over Discord! The game follows a PBP format, I ask only for decent grammar and a drive to write wonderful stories together! This game follows a strict 18+ bar, while not an ERP game, I prefer a hands off, everything goes kinda writing style. Topics of sexual nature, violence and other forms of expression are all good to go, proper TWs will be established upon group formation! Join expecting a no filters on type of game, at your discretion. DM me over Discord or over GroupFinder DMs for details! Hope to see you soon!

Erdoros: The Cosmfall

Homebrew
House rules, a custom setting, or a system the Game Master wrote themselves.
Roleplay focused
Conversation, character and story take up most of the table time.
Hello everyone and welcome to the Cosmfall campaign! We are starting up a short-to-medium length campaign set in the very distant past of our main campaign world, Erdoros, during the events that would come be known in history as the "Cosmfall", when the very stars in the sky began raining down upon the world and the young races that walked its earth, these falling stars bringing with them an alien race that would change the nature of the world forever: Dragonkind. Campaign Introduction "In a time before recorded history, when the curmudgeonly Dwarves had only just begun to settle the Deep Places, and the Elves venturing from their Enchanted Hinterland home of Thala'drahel, and the younger races across the continents had only begun to settle from their nomadic ways, the very stars fell from the sky." Witness our world, Erdoros, before the advent of Magic. Druidism, shamanism and other forms of magic attuned to the natural world are permissible, but incredibly rare. Cling to ancient deities and beliefs fueled by faith and sacrifice, desperate to unlock eldritch powers you cannot comprehend to gain an upper hand in a world put to the flame. The world is young, and all races are at early stages in cultural & technological development and generally isolated from one another. - Wizard, Warlock and Seraph are not playable, but may you rise to become one of the first in history? - Sorcerer is only playable by Elf (known as Dreamweavers) or Dwarf (known as Runespeakers) ancestry. - Clank, Drakona, Infernis and Fungril are not playable. At Session Zero, choose your own path: band together with the other mortal races of this world against the arrival of the destructive and tyrannical Dragons, or betray your own kind to bask in the glory of their new world. The limitations presented here are not to "limit" your choices as a player, but to drive home and best represent the primal world you will be stepping into. Overview - Bi-weekly sessions on every other Wednesday from 20.00 to 00.00 GMT+1. - Our main D&D 5E campaign is currently on hiatus, and we have plans to play this and other shorter-form campaigns in the future to see if you as a new player vibe well with us across different settings & tones before getting locked back into the main campaign. - We are first-timers to Daggerheart, but long-term TTRPG players. We accept & welcome any experience level at our table however! The campaign will start at level 2 and will end at levels 7-8. - We are a group of 3 Players + 1 DM (Me) looking to add a further 2 to our Party. We play from across Europe and are mainly looking for people in the same timezone as us. - We use Foundry VTT hosted on a Forge cloud server, Discord for Voice & Video chat during session. For our games, webcams are mandatory as it is a preference for us to alleviate and improve the roleplay and immersion into the game itself. What We Offer: - A living, breathing world that evolves with (or without) the players' direct interaction. Just as the players have their own goals and ambitions, so too do the other inhabitants of this world. - Serious & realistic roleplay-focused narrative with moments of levity. Ranging from grimdark to lighter tones, all within a swords & sandals setting. The world of Cosmfall is a world before civilization and before diplomacy: many races bear old grudges, and some are as alien to each other as the Dragons themselves. - Consistently scheduled games, planned out with time, care and effort to deliver an entertaining and engaging experience, with heavy attention to detail to narrative elements. A free-form setting open to the collaborative input of all players with the ability to introduce your own ideas, story beats and elements if they mesh well with the overall narrative, with a Game / Dungeon Master who will work WITH you to make a character we both want to fit in the world. - A tailor-made game experience for each player, with intricate and unique encounters, fully fleshed-out boss fights, unique & powerful magic items, rewards and much more. Each person at the table has their own moment to shine, no matter how small! What We Are Looking For: - Laid-back and relaxed individuals over the age of 21 (our age range is from 24-34) who want to sit around and roll virtual dice together and weave a fantastical story that we will be talking about for years to come! - Accommodating, patient and understanding team players who look to raise each other up, cooperate and collaborate to enjoy the game together. Enthusiasm and curiosity are crucial! - Dedicated roleplayers who place emphasis, detail and care into the motivations, background and personality of their character: each player character should be an individual first, a party member close second. - Consistency and dedication to a weekly / bi-weekly schedule. We have a pretty solid track record of being able to run weekly, and during this campaign we are slowing down to bi-weekly for now. A missed session here and there is totally fine and understandable, but we all want to play together with a full party. We hope this has covered all the bases and given you a good idea of what we are all about, whilst it may seem high-octane, we are very much welcome to beginners, veterans and anything in-between, so don't be shy to put your hat in the ring if you think you'd have fun at our table, and you'd be a good addition to our party! To help us find the perfect candidates, we'd like to kindly ask you to fill out our quick application form answering a few of our burning questions to let us know what kind of game YOU'D want, and what kind of player YOU are, before we can move onto the next step. We very much look forward to hearing from you all and hope to see you in Erdoros with us very soon: https://forms.gle/i6mqghDaidmeqer48

Start Playing link : https://startplaying.games/adventure/cmrxzii1k00a9jr04ev58nj36?slug=cmmar8n4o00t4l7040hi3laio Of Hope and Other Sorrows is a linked, sandbox campaign using The Lord of the Rings Roleplaying 5E, where a journey begun beside a warm hearth in Bree may carry your Company far across Middle-earth. Rumours from the North Downs draw you onto roads less trodden, through forgotten ruins and into lands still haunted by the memory of Angmar. All the while, Goblins scurry in the deep places of the world, Wild Men heed the call of a white hand, and Elves pass solemnly along the East Road. The dead and the living cling to a past they cannot relinquish, while proud lords lend an ear to promises of power. Slowly, the troubles and grief of distant places enter your own story, and a wider Shadow begins to fall across your doorstep. And still there is time to meditate on unknown calamities, to exchange whispers by torchlight, and to give the matter of second breakfast its due consideration. Along the way, an unlikely companion becomes a dear friend, a stranger’s troubles become your own, and a place scarcely marked upon a map becomes somewhere you hope to see again. As the paths grow darker, these attachments give your choices their weight. Mercy may prove costly, courage may go unnoticed, and a small kindness may be remembered long after the Company has passed. Such things may travel further than you know. Your journey shares a living Middle-earth with my Thursday campaign, A Shadow Moves in the Dark. Through the Robin’s Roost, a quiet haven for trusted friends of the Free Peoples, letters, warnings, rumours and half-finished notes may pass between fellowships walking different roads. A discovery made by one Company may help another survive; a failure in one part of the world may send danger spilling into another. Each fellowship has its own tale, while the Shadow they face moves before the Wise fully understand its shape. Expect rich roleplay, meaningful journeys, layered mysteries and dangerous choices, with room to linger, form friendships and become invested in what happens to the world around you. You need neither a scholar’s knowledge of Tolkien nor previous experience with the system; I’ll help you find your feet. Bring curiosity, consideration for your companions, and a willingness to follow a story whose course your choices will help shape. Where Paths Converge

Homebrew
House rules, a custom setting, or a system the Game Master wrote themselves.
Newbie friendly
New players are welcome, and nobody expects you to know the rules beforehand.
This is a beginner friendly and open campaign where the players get to decide on what they want to do whilst playing.  The world lore revolves around the dead 3, which are the 3 gods that share the throne of death after the old god of the dead resigned. The world has and will slowly become worse and worse off whilst the dead 3 fight for power in the material plane. Additionally I am trying to have a kind of psychological horror feeling when in comes to this campaign  We play for around 3-4 hours, often with a short break and every session starts at 8pm cet, or to be very specific, Swedish time. We use a discord channel for verbal communication during our sessions and it also works for keeping notes, recaps and just general hanging out with the other players outside of sessions If you're interested, please send me a short message request, maybe a short description of you: pronouns, age and most importantly how you are as a player. And when I see your message I will accept and give you my discord username for continued contact and in order to add you to our server channel If this campaign isn't for you, I wish you the best of luck finding one you want to and can join, have a wonderful day/night! ❤️

Tales of Acaridian: Moth to a Flame

Homebrew
House rules, a custom setting, or a system the Game Master wrote themselves.
Adult
The table is for players who are 18 or over.
Moth to a Flame — A D&D Campaign The first act of The Tales of Acaridian Wrath has ruptured amongst an elder reality, destroying everything and bleeding its corruption into ours. Acaridian is a simple world of fantasy but not at the mercy of its own chaos. We are set in the desert of Anibuah, a land of dune and scorching rays of heat and herds of vicious monsters, the land is threatened by orcs and elementals as the dragons slumber begins to break from chains beneath, a titan that must remain sealed and now our party is here in search for a lost relic, one which may prevent the titan from awakening, but first they must find the hall of judgement, where the elder god Judge had imprisoned Diablo the dragon titan of ages.. Moth to a Flame focuses heavily on: Exploration with rich worldbuilding, deep lore, high fantasy, cosmic horror and meaningful character progression. Evolving combats and boss encounters, as well as cosmic wonders and chances, the bigger the parties influence, the stronger the enemies. This campaign has a unique Homebrew Rune System, using charts to grant creatures runes based on words forming their own unique element with its own rarity and authority over other rune power. Runes is a massive concept for the Acaridian Series and is a great way to explore creativity. I use homebrew feats to impliment abilities and google docs for stats, its simple but it can be a little overwhelming at first, but trust me once your in the flow, its amazing. Important notes: We are LGBTQ+ friendly but we aren't sensitive friendly, if your not a fan of loudness, dark humor, etc, then i do not suggest you join our group Age span would prefer between 18-30 years old (Can make exceptions for older) I would prefer all members to have a flexible schedule for if we ever need to change dates, but mostly for when we decide to extend sessions We do NSFW themed roleplays and encounters, so if your not comfortable with that mixed with some dark fantasy, then please for your sake don't join haha Preferably be good at speaking english clearly And lastly, be able to operate dnd beyond, owlbear rodeo, and talk in call on discord The Session Times: AEST UTC+10 Saturday and Sunday 9:30am-1:30pm In CST time i believe thats 6:30pm-10:30pm on Fridays and Saturdays Thank you so much for taking the time to read my post! have a great day adventurer.

Fights, tactics and initiative take up most of the table time.
Hello all, I'm Jon the DM and we're looking for players local to Indianapolis to join our new Planescape campaign. I'm a seasoned DM of 15 years, currently in my 30s looking for like minded players to round out our group. Our group is a cluster of folks in their 30s whose DnD experience varies across the board.  I tend to run narrative/character driven games regardless of the setting or system punctuated by high stakes and action with time for RP throughout. I craft and 3D print my own terrain and minis, and my lovely girlfriend is usually the painter but I'm working to improve! We're looking to play biweekly, Sundays from 12-6pm every other Sunday. I'll host at my home on the East side of Indianapolis. Feel free to reach out with any questions, looking forward to hearing from you! The Game Pitch: Plucked from the Prime, you find your very existence questioned in the balance of the Cosmic Wheel. What you believe doesn't just change your mind, it changes the Planes. You wake up in Sigil, the City of Doors, a floating metropolis built on the inside of a massive ring hovering above infinity. Here at the center of all things, every angel, demon, and philosophy has a doorstep. Each alleyway contains a door to a different plane of existence, if you have the key. And berk, you don't know the dark of it!         Tone/Inspiration: Disco Elysium, Kill Six Billion Demons, Neverwhere, Labyrinth, Planescape: Torment (duh)

Homebrew
House rules, a custom setting, or a system the Game Master wrote themselves.
The City never sleeps, and as a Moonlighter, niether will you! MOONLIGHTERS is a high-stakes Dungeons and Dragons campaign set in a fantastical version of the modern day. The players take the role of Moonlighters - part time adventurers who operate after dark. Are you a college dropout Elf? A pixie attorney specialising in Magic Item law? A gnome taxi driver? Whatever your reason, while the city sleeps, you Adventure! Players will form an Adventuring Party, working the Adventuring gig economy in the Big City. They'll choose from available jobs, meet wacky clients, and co-operatively worldbuild and expand on the city with the DM in the process. Will you stage an elaborate heist at the Museum of Villainy? Fix a Wizard Duel for a down-and-out gambler? Explore the forgotten catacombs of the public graveyard? It's up to you! More here: https://startplaying.games/adventure/cmq7tyim4007bjs04bh2hluyy?q=moonlighters  Each of the player characters will have a day job, which will be narratively incorporated into the story. If your single dad Orc is an accountant by day. maybe they'll notice some irregularities in the companies magical accounts. If they're an exhausted sound technician for a bratty DJ, maybe they'll have some connections to the shadier side of the city. During a Session 0, we will all discuss the general tone of the game the players are in the mood for. Player characters could all be friends fresh out of college, living out a coming-of-age Jon Hughes movie (with oozes and werewolves), a group of reluctant oddballs flung together in a workplace comedy, or desperate individuals just trying to make ends meet in a brutal, unforgiving city. The choice will be communal, and can always evolve with the narrative. I will discuss privately what each player wants to see, and what they never want to see in game. I'll make sure everyone is on the same page without drawing attention to any individual player's needs. The games is $20 per session via Startplaying. Alternatively, you can message me if you would rather pay another way.

Hello all, I am Michael.  I am starting a new campaign playing within the world of Ravenloft. This a gothic horror story that is traumatic and a fun time. This is a roleplay heavy campaign with intense combat encounters and plenty of chances for exploration. This is my third time running the campaign and I am excited to see what a new group of adventurers will make of this land.  This is good campaign to start your D&D journey as it starts at low levels and you learn as we play. So if you enjoy a fun and scary time at the virtual table then this is the game for you. Gothic Horror, High Fantasy, and Eldritch Horrors Level 1-10, with possibilities of higher levels depending on the game Go from ragtag adventurers. Unravel villain motivations, fend off living and undead threats that haunt the land, and confront one of the most famous villains. Strahd Von Zarovich. This campaign uses the best of the plot lines of Curse of Strahd: Reloded rounded out with additional materials, and characters backstories. Conversation, character and story take up most of the table time.
A dark archipelago of dangerous waters, unforgiving weather, and ruthless people, ruled by a cold and powerful Empress. The realm fell into despair when a deadly plague known as the "Sanguine Mist" or simply the “Red Mist” as it’s known colloquially, swept over the dark waters, causing a painful and gruelling end as symptoms include; visible, bright red veins, frequent bleeding from nose, mouth, or eyes, fragile skin that bruises and cuts easily, oddly liquid looking pupils and most notably, the constant coughing and hacking up a bloody, crimson mist that eventually causes the infected to suffocate, before reanimating their corpse as a mindless, siren-like zombie. Life here is tough, but the people are tougher, and there’s been an odd sense of routine that has formed since the first signs of the infection. Many make their living hauling or pilfering parts of the dead and dying, and while a vague sense of normalcy has returned, there remain a few who continue to search for a cure.

Homebrew
House rules, a custom setting, or a system the Game Master wrote themselves.
Roleplay focused
Conversation, character and story take up most of the table time.
This is a very roleplay-heavy campaign. Combat absolutely happens and can be important, but there is generally less of it than you would find in a typical D&D game. Characters, relationships, exploration, lore, choices, and the consequences of those choices make up a huge portion of the campaign. The tone can also change quite a bit depending on what is happening. There are storylines that get genuinely serious, emotional, or intense, but there are also sessions where everyone spends half the night laughing. One of the things we enjoy about the campaign is that it has room for both. It can be dramatic when it needs to be without feeling like the characters aren’t allowed to have fun. The DM has also built an extremely large amount of lore over the years. There are history documents, setting information, character-accessible documents, and other material that gets sent out as we learn more about the universe. You absolutely do not need to memorize four and a half years of campaign history before joining, but you do need to be someone who doesn’t mind reading and engaging with the material you’re given.

Playtest
The game is still being tested, and your feedback is part of the point.
LOOKING FOR 3–5 PLAYERS — IN-PERSON TTRPG PLAYTEST Location: Millbrook / Prattville / Wetumpka, with the Montgomery area also an option Format: In-person tabletop RPG Genre: Fantasy adventure Experience: None required — new and experienced players welcome Character Creation: Required as part of the playtest. You'll be building your own character rather than having me build one for you. I'll be available to answer rules questions, but I specifically want to see how well a new player can navigate character creation on their own. Schedule: Flexible evenings or weekends System: UNBOUND, a custom TTRPG system I'm developing I'm looking for 3–5 players to help playtest UNBOUND, an anti-essentialist, leveled point-buy TTRPG built around one idea: Build the character you actually want to play, instead of choosing a class and being told what that character is supposed to be. UNBOUND doesn't lock you into traditional class archetypes. You build your character through Build Points, Perks, Limitations, and attributes, allowing you to develop in whatever direction fits your concept. Combat is dynamic, using Active Defenses, contested rolls, and armor as a percentage-based damage reduction system. Magic is intentionally flexible, and healing isn't restricted to one dedicated “healbot” class. The goal of the playtest is to actually put these ideas through their paces at a real table — see what works, find what doesn't, and have some fun while we're doing it. No prior experience with TTRPGs is necessary. You don't need to know any systems going in; character creation is part of the playtest, and I'll walk everyone through it. The Player's Guide, GM's Guide, and Martial Arts Handbook are already available on the UNBOUND Discord. Send me a message and I'll give you an invite so you can look them over before deciding whether you'd like to play. Interested? Message me. Even if you're curious but not sure yet, feel free to reach out and ask questions.

Welcome, travelers and adventures! We are searching for those who have been held against their will and done things they wish they hadn't for the hierarchy. We are searching for all those willing to begin the process and aid in any way you can. I can't give many specific plot details yet as we are looking to surprise our enemies and catch them off guard following their demise. We are an 18+ only group playing through discord using the rules from D&D 5e and 5.5e with good leniency with homebrew. We, as the DMs, like giving out powerful items, but power only comes from those willing to take risk for it. What will you do for power?  We tend to run small quests to enable our players to get better gear, take risks, and develop their characters. Everything you do will guide the story/campaign, even when adventuring in a non-essential quest. Team collaboration will be essential for your survival and the survival of others. We invite those who live in the US timezones and near (i.e. those in Canadian timezones outside of US are welcome) it helps with scheduling and reducing conflicts within our time. Unfortunately for those in other continents, like those in Europe, we are not partial to the time difference. This is an 18+ group and there are dark themes that can be triggering for certain people.  We hope to see you there and can't wait to begin adventuring!  DM ME FOR SERVER LINK

LGBTQ+ friendly
The table is openly welcoming to LGBTQ+ players.
🎓 Who Are You? You are a student at the **Nocturne Conservatory**, a hidden college for young witches beneath the town of Duskfall. Most students are between **18 and 22 years old**, balancing two very different lives. By day, you attend classes, work part-time jobs, hang out with friends, and try to survive college. By night, you study advanced magic, dangerous rituals, and centuries-old traditions. Whether you were born into the magical community or discovered it later, you're still trying to figure out who you want to become. --- # 🏫 Your Two Worlds ## ☀️ Life Above Ground Outside the Conservatory, Duskfall functions like any other small coastal college town. You might spend your days: - Attending university lectures - Working a part-time job - Meeting friends at cafés - Going to concerts - Pulling all-nighters before exams - Exploring the town - Joining clubs or organizations Most people believe Duskfall is completely ordinary. They're wrong. --- ## 🌙 The Nocturne Conservatory Hidden beneath abandoned salt mines lies one of the oldest magical colleges in existence. Here you'll study subjects like: - Ritual Magic - Arcane Theory - Demonology - Magical History - Wards & Protection - Potion Brewing - Cursecraft - Spirit Studies -Evocation -Divination Your professors expect excellence. Failure can have consequences beyond a failing grade. --- # 🎭 What Is This Campaign About? This is a character-driven supernatural mystery focused on: 🔮 Magic 🕵️ Investigations 🎓 College Life 🤝 Friendships & Rivalries 📖 Hidden History 🩸 Difficult Choices While combat certainly happens, your greatest tools are curiosity, teamwork, and creative problem solving. --- # 🧙 Creating Your Character Think about the person behind the magic. ### What are you studying? Examples include: - Magical Law - Ritual Studies - Alchemy - Spirit Research - Enchantments - Magical Medicine - Ancient Languages --- What's your life like outside class? Do you... - Work at a bookstore? - Play in a local band? - Run the campus radio station? - Captain an intramural team? - Volunteer in town? - Spend every night buried in the library? --- How do you feel about magic? Maybe it's... - Your calling. - Your family tradition. - Just another subject to pass. - A burden. - An obsession. - Something you're still learning to trust. --- Why did you come to the Conservatory? Everyone has their own reason. Maybe you wanted: - Knowledge. - Freedom. - Answers. - Prestige. - Adventure. - A fresh start. --- 💬 Roleplaying Tips Your character is an adult, but adulthood doesn't mean having everything figured out. Lean into uncertainty. Make mistakes. Build friendships. Question authority. Support your classmates. Sometimes the biggest victories happen outside of combat. --- 📖 What Your Character Knows Every student knows: ✅ Magic exists. ✅ The Nocturne Conservatory is one of the oldest magical colleges in the world. ✅ Duskfall has a hidden magical community. ✅ Magical traditions are deeply important. ✅ Strange things occasionally happen around town. Your character does **not** automatically know: ❌ Every magical secret. ❌ Every hidden faction. ❌ The truth behind Duskfall's history. ❌ Why certain traditions exist. Those answers will be discovered throughout the campaign. --- 🌒 Welcome to Duskfall Study hard. Trust carefully. Question everything. Because in Duskfall... **Some secrets have been waiting centuries for someone to uncover them.** Like to application: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSf784PDqgFyQQcG_tInei2V3mVF9q-hKDGLUMwY23YeFNjbSA/viewform?usp=header

Hello, My name is blu I'm looking for a group to play with in a bleach based campaign and a DM willing to run it Theres a Source book everyone will be able to get onto for free at all times online and I have saved the CS's thats specially made for the source book, all I'm looking for is up to 3 other players who want to try the class/races within the book and a dm willing to build a campaign based around the SB. I will send or put the SB somewhere in the dis server or if you want to peak at it sooner I can send it to you before joining the server. What would I like to play as? A soul reaper based would be preferable over others but also for extra challenge a hollow campagin could be fun if we can fighure out how to do it. why bleach over normal dnd? 1. why not, 2. bc I really like bleach. how long of a campaign do I want? Up to the dm and players but I'd like a longer campaign. what level to start on? id like to start at level 1 to take the steps of what you are gaining within the book and gain more of a understanding of the class or classes in the SB. Finally where can you contact me? Just dm here and ask, I want to know that I'm getting friended and not just randomly get a friend request and ignore it. 1, big thing I don't want is NO GEN AI AT ALL, please if you like using gen AI please don't bother, I don't want to see AI "art". 2, No homo, trans, or any other phobs, or isims, I won't take it and kick you out of the group myself. [Online] [5e 2014] [CST] DM Seeking Premade 5-Pers

Homebrew
House rules, a custom setting, or a system the Game Master wrote themselves.
Newbie friendly
New players are welcome, and nobody expects you to know the rules beforehand.
[5e 2014] DM Looking for 5 Premade Players — 3-Month Sunday Campaign Hey everyone! I'm a longtime online DM with a homebrew campaign that I'm really excited to run. The campaign is designed for 5 players and will run for approximately 3 months on Sunday mornings. The catch: I'm specifically looking for a premade group of 5 players who already know and have played with each other for more than a few sessions. I'm looking to give another DM a break for a few months by running their group through my campaign. Each player would play their own PC during the sessions. You'll need access to Foundry VTT and Discord. The Setting The campaign takes place in Sanctuary, a massive underground dystopian city built from the remnants of a dying world. The surface is nearly dead. An enormous creature from beyond this world has been slowly feeding on the life of the planet. The land is becoming a wasteland, earthquakes tear through what remains, and civilization has collapsed across much of the world. Only a handful of powerful cities remain. Sanctuary is one of them. Home to powerful wizards, ancient magic, wealthy merchants, and dangerous guilds, the city should be humanity's greatest hope for survival. Instead, its wizards are too busy fighting over power, politics, and their own interests to deal with the world dying around them. The Fae Queens are barely holding the last remnants of life together. The surface is dying. The city is cracking. And something is coming. Campaign Tone The campaign is heavily inspired by: Dragon Age Warhammer: Age of Sigmar The Witcher Dark Souls Forgotten Realms He Who Fights with Monsters Brandon Sanderson It's a mix of dark fantasy, exploration, large-scale battles, political conflict, strange magic, and player-driven choices. Your decisions can have lasting consequences on the city, its people, and the factions within it. Game Rules D&D 5e 2014 Mostly standard rules Most official 2014 content is allowed Tasha's Cauldron of Everything is generally allowed Very few house-rule adjustments Homebrew content is available for the setting, including some homebrew classes Character creation will be discussed with the group before play Game Requirements Foundry VTT installed on your PC Discord installed on your PC A good-quality microphone Ability to communicate clearly through Discord A reasonably quiet playing environment Reliable attendance Schedule Sundays: 8:15 AM – 11:15 AM CST There will be a 15-minute break in the middle of the session. The campaign is expected to run for approximately 3 months. What I'm Looking For I'm specifically looking for 5 players who already play together and have good chemistry as a group. You don't need to be professional roleplayers or hardcore D&D veterans. I'm mainly looking for a group that: Gets along well Works together Enjoys roleplay Is comfortable communicating over Discord Shows up consistently Wants to experience a campaign where their choices actually matter If your regular DM wants a break for a few months, this might be a good fit. If you're interested, send me a Reddit DM with a little information about your group: How long you've been playing together How many players are in the group Your general D&D experience Confirmation that Sunday 8:15–11:15 AM CST works for everyone A little about what your group enjoys most about D&D The Hook The world is dying. The surface has become a wasteland. Something from beyond this world has been feeding on the life of the planet, and the civilizations that once stood against it are mostly gone. What remains survives beneath the earth. Sanctuary is one of the last great cities of the mortal realm — a massive underground civilization built by people who fled the dying surface. It is a city of powerful wizards, ancient magic, wealthy merchants, dangerous guilds, and ordinary people simply trying to survive. But Sanctuary has a problem. The wizards who rule the city are too busy fighting over power, politics, research, and old grudges to agree on what should be done about the world outside. Meanwhile, the surface continues to die. You aren't a legendary hero. Not yet, anyway. You're an adventurer who needs gold. Fortunately, there's always work for people willing to risk their lives. The Retrievers Guild specializes in recovering magical artifacts, lost knowledge, and valuable resources from places no sane person would willingly visit. You've spent weeks looking for work. Today, you finally get a contract. A surface expedition. Good pay. Valuable discoveries. A chance to make a name for yourselves. Your group arrives at the Retrievers Guild warehouse. Hundreds of adventurers are preparing for the expedition. Wagons are being loaded. Weapons are being checked. Spells are being prepared. Your contract seems simple: Protect the expedition. Protect each other. Bring back what you find. But the surface has secrets. The Drow are moving. The Fae are dying. Something is hunting the survivors of the old world. And the deeper you get into the ruins of what came before, the more obvious it becomes that this expedition isn't just about treasure. The world is dying. Sanctuary is running out of time. And eventually, you'll have to decide what you're willing to do about it. Will you protect Sanctuary? Change it? Or burn it down and build something better? That choice belongs to you.

I'm looking for 4 players for a homebrew dark fantasy game. I already have 1 player so this will bring the group size to 5. A hundred years have passed since the end of a great war known as the God Hunt. When mortals rose to defy the gods. Angered by the realization that mankind could now slay them, the Gods laid siege to the world below them twisting and altering the lands forever. In the end it would not save them and as the pantheon fell, We were left to deal with the consequences of destroying our makers. With the gods gone there was nothing standing in front of the darkness that longs to dominate the world. Even as oppressors the gods were our protectors. The world has become hostile to life itself. As the dark miasma slowly contaminated the forests humanity retreated inside its castle walls. Only fortified settlements had a chance to keep the darkness at bay. Many villages fell to what now dwells in the dark. And communication between cities grinded to a halt. For many years venturing too deep into the dark forests meant certain doom. The man power required to safely traverse between settlements was too large to justify frequent trips. The night is too dangerous to stay in one place for long. Making it most efficient to bring enough men and carriages for round the clock travel. This wouldn’t last, we needed a better way to make communication and trade viable again. That’s when a breakthrough was made. Someone found a way to distil from the miasma in the woods an elixir that would heighten the senses and best of all stave off the need for sleep. However this did nothing to reduce the danger in the forests, only to allow smaller groups of capable people to quickly traverse between settlements. There was now a need for people that could handle themselves in a fight and survive the trek through the lands. The Traveler system was born to answer this need. That’s where you come in. You are a Traveler, you are one of the few that are strong enough to survive the world outside the walls. Whatever your reason for choosing this life. You now face deadly encounters and the remnants of a world once bright with life but now dark and unwelcoming. *Please hold off on character creation until we have time to chat and get a feel for each other. it will be better to make a character tailored to this game rather than coming in with a built character sheet. I will be running the game on discord, i plan on keeping the game theatre of the mind but may explore a VTT in the future. we will be using DND beyond for character sheets as well. Please have a decent mic for discord and a stable internet connection. no phones or tablets should be used for the discord call. If you are interested send me a message and i can answer any questions you have. we can also set up a time to chat. **please be aware that I am looking for a more serious tone for the campaign, I'd like for the characters to be grounded and feel like people. This is not the place for meme/joke characters. It is also important that you be willing to engage in conversation. No lone wolf or shy characters that refuse to talk. These are hard rules so if you feel you cannot adhere to them this not the game for you.

-Hello, I'm Demon. the short to this is, I have made this post to find anyone that wishes to play D&D, the number of players seen is how many peaple are in the dicord group. - we currently have me and 2 others player, and a number of other that wanted to check out the Discord -the schedule is Saturdays after 7:30pm CDT Bi-weekly at the moment.  -I figured if we can get 5 people (me included), and each of us take turns doing one shots, until we figure out who we want as a DM. I'll be doing the first one at least. and maybe we all can take turns DMing the campain if we like that Idea.  -This would let new players figure out, a bit more of the game. if I get more experienced players that's fine, I only wish that you do not call out the newer player for things they do not know, Me included. I can't say I'm new, nor can I say I'm experienced. I know some things but can't juggle the DM part of things vary well, so I would like to be a player, or play with other players who are new and are willing to learn to play with me. -this is a way to help connect other players with other players, and allow other players to see what DM's have to do as well as enjoy learning and making mistakes, after all we all make them, and the rule books are just a guide to play, we can easly make up are own rules as a group, as long as every one is ok with the rules, but we should stick close to the rule of the book so things don't get to overpowered.  -I would prefer 18+ group, however I understand new players may not be, there for I will exept any age at this time. -I may be willing to Draw art for the members, but I only ask if you want it please be patient with me, I'm not a fast drawer. I can also do Ai art if you want, but I think hand drawn art is more unique.

Greek-myth campaign for Daggerheart

Roleplay focused
Conversation, character and story take up most of the table time.
Newbie friendly
New players are welcome, and nobody expects you to know the rules beforehand.
"Five years ago, a thousand ships answered Agamemnon's call and departed Greece to bring about Ilium's ruin. The greatest heroes, the mightiest weapons, and the most mythical stories are somewhere else.  You are among who remains.  I am Homer, and I will sing of you, amongst Other Names." Set in a fabled Age of Rhapsody — paying homage to the Bronze Age, Greek tragedy and comedy, and classical myth — Echoes of Fate is a homebrew Campaign Frame for Daggerheart exploring lies and prophecies, the making of myths, and what it costs to break destiny. You are not the hero the epic was written for. No prophecy names you. No Muse has claimed your story...yet. So what do you make of a life the songs haven't told yet? If you are a fan of myth retellings such as EPIC: the Musical, A Thousand Ships, The Song of Achilles, come sit by the fire. Some notes on the setting: •  The gods are present but distracted — drawing their eye may bring you greatness, or ruin. Or maybe you'll be drawn to the Mysteries instead? •  No prophecy protects you: your choices ripple outward, and could alter canon myths and even the course of the war itself. •  All stories are welcome, this table is LGBTQ+ friendly. •  New to tabletop, Daggerheart, or Greek myth? This table is beginner-friendly. And no Classics degree required, just curiosity. EU-friendly hours (evenings except weekends where I can do mornings or early afternoons) or US- friendly (late afternoons/early evening). Sessions can be weekly or bi-weekly through StartPlaying.com, at 20$ per session. About me: - I've been a Dungeon Master for almost 8 years and I have plenty of experience in guiding new players. I prefer Theater of the Mind with minimal VTT support. - Your story will matter and I love a long, narrative background I can weave into the main story. - I do character voices!  - I also do character artworks :D Safety tools: Session 0, Lines and Veils, Consent checklist and X cards. I prefer to be honest in advance: Echoes of Fate draws from real life in addition to myth. Slavery was present in Ancient Greece, as was mysogyny, war and violence. You will be able to challenge these in-game through your character, or ask me to avoid mentioning them and I will do my best to do so.

Whatever the opposite of a railroaded adventure is, this open-world campaign is that. The rules are simple. The world is complicated. What happens to it is up to the players. You will hear rumors, discover locations, meet competing factions, and encounter problems, but the game will not tell you which direction you must take. Some things the players have chosen to do so far: Join the local mercenaries to learn the ways of the sword as a mage - Retrieve an old lady's purse - Become war chieftain of an orc village - Decapitate a wight with a cursed sword Also some new races that are crafted to play and feel very different: - Pixie - fly, perfect hiding, cast phantasmal forces at will, insults cause physical damage to you - Orc - infra-vision, can recruit monsters more easily Races and classes are kind of blended together. Multiple characters are encouraged. Each choice allows you to do something that appears to let you break the game, while saddling you with something else that seems debilitating. This is by design, and players have come up with a few ways of getting around and abusing these things to the betterment of the story and lore. - Fighting-Man - Doesn't have to actually be a guy, but is a human. Can use all weapons and armor. - Magic-User - Has one spell, one "shot". Can meet with magic learned peers to exchange knowledge. The most notorious spell in the game right now is Charm Person because it doesn't wear off like in later editions. - Cleric - The best of the two above, but must be Good, and by the Law. - Elf - Essentially a Magic-Use/Fighting-Man with extra perks and ties with elves and the ability to sense magic, enhanced senses, etc. but capped at a certain point - Hobbit - Capped early, but can hide flawlessly in urban areas and snipe REAL good with slings. No magic. - Dwarf -  Capped early, but high resistance, good with all axes and hammers, can sense what stone touches and its shape, and ties with and extensive knowledge of dwarven culture and holds. There are major events going on in the background but instead of shoving players in the middle of them, I showcase the developments of those events that come about, for good or ill. The players decide what to investigate, whom to trust, which dangers are worth confronting, and what their characters want to accomplish. How many hirelings do you need to bring with you? How much can you do successfully alone to maximize profit? Play alone, 1-on-1 with DM and player, or up to 10 others at once. The world continues to develop around the party. Factions pursue their own plans, NPCs remember your actions, enemies adapt, settlements can change, and neglected situations may grow better or worse. Player choices can permanently reshape the campaign world. Let me know if you are interested!

The party has departed from Brackenward with their dragon companion, Whisper, carrying precious cargo and seeking to investigate the legitimacy of 1 of 4 companies with potential ties to the Carrion Company.  Along the road they were confronted by the leader of the Carrion Company, one of the party volunteered as sacrifice to turn double agent.  What lies ahead as the party is split? The party is looking for 1 more adventurer to bring them from the Fab Four back to the Fab Five. I will run a one on one session Zero with anyone interested! Dark Frontier Fantasy | Tactical Roleplay | Political Intrigue | Living World Campaign | Growing Items Starting at level 1 going all the way to 20! Azural remembers everything. In the foothills of the Drenthars, most names are forgotten, most contracts are written in dust, and only Azural itself bothers to keep score. You start in the fading frontier town of Arazar, just mere faces in the crowd, taking whatever work will keep you fed. • Escorting short caravans that never make the stories. • Settling petty border quarrels. • Finding the missing, no one can afford to mourn. • Looking the other way on smuggling runs. • Digging up graves for coins that barely shine. Small jobs for small people. Until Azural begins to change around you—and the first whispers of a divine crime start to echo from the shadows. Will you silence those whispers, or turn them into the cry that rights a long‑forgotten wrong? StartPlaying Game Link StartPlaying GM Profile

Homebrew
House rules, a custom setting, or a system the Game Master wrote themselves.
DETAILS Online, AD&D 1e/homebrew campaign with the developer of AD&D Toolkit.  Can be either Tuesday or Wednesday nights 6:45pm - 9:45pm EST.  Or Saturday 9:30am - 12:30pm EST. REQUIREMENTS - Discord and working mic - Roll20: https://roll20.net/ - AD&D Toolkit: https://adndtoolkit.com/ - $10/player/session DESCRIPTION Karmont is a small, frontier kingdom nestled among a series of mountain ranges near the coast of a largely unexplored continent.  The namesake capitol is cradled in the tallest peaks, far to the north.  Beyond the mountains are desolate lands, ruled by all matter of foul creatures.  Tantalized by the hopeful promise of treasure hordes and riches uncounted, adventurous types have been settling the coastal side of the mountains for decades now and continue to push northward. Kobolds, Goblins, and ill-mannered creatures of all sorts continually raid what cities have taken root in the fledgling kingdom.  Their ultimate aim is to drive all good peoples south, into the ocean from whence they came.  Thus the King has vowed to eventually press his forces beyond the mountains, to bring the fight to the enemy and put a permanent halt to their machinations and all of the resulting incursions.  Will you find treasure and glory in this wild, hinterlands?  Will you be able to stamp your mark as a hero of Karmont? Mourndaer is a large continent home to numerous peoples, species, and factions that do not always get along. The Rabi are one such people, frog-like humanoids who have made the vast marshes of the south their home; the Nation of Merre.  Most Rabi are peaceful by nature, and very spiritually inclined. They travel the waterways in floating wooden settlements, taking only what they need to survive. With a strong sense of community, the villages of Merre are some of the most peaceful and crime-free in the world. Our party will begin in Croara, another Rabi village where nothings ever happens. Until you arrive, that is.. __________________________________________________________________________________________________ This is a homebrew world of mine that's been in development for a little bit now called Terraquin. It's an expansive dark fantasy world inspired by some of my favourite fantasy media, like Warhammer, Lord of the Rings, and GoT, to name a few. My DMing style is very rule of cool and narratively focused, so if that sounds like something you'd be interested in, shoot me a message and I'll give you more details. Thanks!

grounded: the helix organizations mistakes

Newbie friendly
New players are welcome, and nobody expects you to know the rules beforehand.
The Helix Initiative was introduced to the public as a revolutionary leap in environmental adaptation, biological medicine, and survival science. Officially, the organization claimed it was developing new ways for humanity to survive ecological collapse, disease, and resource shortages. Behind closed doors, however, Helix operated hidden research divisions dedicated to experimentation far beyond legal or ethical limits. Somewhere deep within those divisions, a scientist identified in surviving records only as Dr. W██d████ T████ developed a machine capable of shrinking living organisms to less than an inch tall. The technology was presented internally as a breakthrough in resource efficiency and medical research—but many of the subjects brought into testing were children between the ages of eight and sixteen. Most never returned. You are one of the survivors. After undergoing the procedure, you awaken inside an ordinary city park that has become an impossible wilderness at your scale. Blades of grass tower like trees. Puddles become lakes capable of drowning entire groups. Ants patrol the dirt like armored soldiers, while spiders transform sections of the park into web-choked death zones. Every inch of terrain matters. Every storm is catastrophic. Survival depends on learning how to weaponize the environment itself—crafting tools and defenses from thorns, sap, insect shells, broken plastic, roots, and scavenged debris left behind by previous miniature civilizations that clearly did not survive for long. As you explore deeper into the park, you begin discovering abandoned outposts, collapsed shelters, and fragmented Helix logs detailing increasingly unstable experiments. The records reference attempts to create “evolutions chosen suvivors” capable of evolving beyond normal biological limits. Again and again, one phrase appears alongside heavily censored personnel files: MARROW SYNDROME. The disease slowly destroys the body in stages—first decaying bone tissue, then muscle structure, and finally flooding the lungs with blood. Somewhere among the corrupted files are hints that Dr. W██d████ T████ never joined Helix out of loyalty. Some logs imply he infiltrated the organization to expose its corruption, free the surviving test subjects, and continue researching a cure for a terminally ill child connected to the syndrome. Whether those rumors are true remains uncertain. Helix officially denies the existence of both the disease and the scientist. Not every strange thing in the park comes from Helix laboratories. Survivors occasionally encounter a bizarre figure known only as Rock—a hyper-muscular talking bee obsessed with shouting “MUSCLE” at every possible opportunity. Most groups dismiss him as insane until they realize he understands far more about the park than he should. One moment he acts like a reckless coach forcing terrified children to become stronger, and the next he casually references erased facilities, failed experiments, or “previous attempts” that nobody else remembers. Near the edges of abandoned Helix sectors, Rock sometimes becomes unusually quiet, staring into empty space before muttering warnings that sound less like jokes and more like genuine fear. HE IS WATCHING YOUR EVERY MOVE...

Homebrew

LGBTQ+ friendly
The table is openly welcoming to LGBTQ+ players.
Hello hello! I am Matthew. I am a new DM building a homebrew world, and I want your help filling in its history. Before my main campaign begins, I am running a series of one-shots set in "Year 0". This is when an apocalyptic cataclysm nearly ends the world. The future campaign will be set centuries afterward. This post is for a specific prequel one-shot for a party of four bards. AND you as the player ideally have an instrument to RP with and maybe play poorly. When? I run my business from home and have a family, so M-F during the day works best. These one-shots will take place Tuesday through Thursday, between 9:00am and 2:00pm Central time (chicago area). If you work from home, work nights, or live in a time zone where this is your evening, this table is for you! What is it? You will play level 6 bards surviving the chaos of a larger conflict. You may be "just" bards, but together you can make a real difference in this harried, crumbling world. All of this happens under the shadow of the First King, whose mysterious sacrifice during this era saves the realm but curses his bloodline forever. Legacy? Yup If you survive, I have a "Fortune & Fate" roll planned to help determine your character's epilogue. Though you will have plenty of creative control over their outcomes. My particular hope with this one-shot is to establish a few bards as local heroes of sorts. And in the epilogue and leading into the future campaign, these bards and their instruments will be cherished.

High Lords of Terra (5e/5.5e homebrew) (21+)

Homebrew
House rules, a custom setting, or a system the Game Master wrote themselves.
Roleplay focused
Conversation, character and story take up most of the table time.
Intro to Terra If you’re coming from Faerûn, think of Terra as a vast continent that used to feel like one big, functioning empire. A tradition of feudalism, with noble "High Lord" houses ruling over their regions. All offering allegiance to a central authority, the most powerful noble house, Arista, and crowned it's leader as the First Lord. So the Legend Goes At the dawn of this world, the Gods watched our people struggle to survive in an unforgiving world - Early settlements decimated by violent storms. Explorers slaughtered by ferocious beasts. To have a chance at survival, these benevolent Gods gifted the lands with powerful spirits. And for the inhabitants, an ability to bond with these spirits. As these lands were conquered, creatures brought over were quickly surpassed by Humans, who found they could tame and even command these spirits. For thousands of years, these settlers fought and struggled to secure as much power for themselves as possible. Anarchy, chaos, and endless bloodshed, with the most vulnerable most at risk. It was not until those wielding the most powerful elemental magic banded together that law and order was able to form. Rather than fighting each other, they spread across the lands in a uniform effort to end the violence. Forming what are now known to be the High Lords of Terra. These High Lords rallied behind the most powerful among them, First Lord of House Arista. For generations, there was peace among the world. Humans across Terra in harmony with one another and their spirit blessings, working together to build great cities, sprawling farmlands, relying on each other for protection. The Civil War starts... Nearly one hundred years ago, tragedy struck when the First Lord passed away, leaving behind two sons with competing claims to the throne. The older son, born of an illegitimate affair with the High Lady of House Kalara, vied for the throne against his younger brother, son to the First Lord's wife. The conflict immediately turned bloody amongst the High Lords. On one side stood the loyalists, supporting House Arista and the rightful heir to the throne as appointed by the King's betrothed. On the other stood the would be usurping traditionalists, who sought to uphold the laws of succession. They rallied behind House Kalara. Now, a century later, the realm remains divided, locked in a never-ending struggle for power and dominance. The loyalist houses of Teos, Retosia, and Pytion stand firm in their support of House Arista, while the traditionalist houses of Sultern, Rhodes, and Toria remain steadfast in their allegiance to House Kalara. As the conflict rages on, the fate of the realm hangs in the balance. One thing is certain - It cannot survive another century of civil war. A Forgotten Evil Stirs... While the realm is torn apart by war, a new shadow rises. Mysterious disappearances reported near the uninhabited forest. Legend of an undisturbed kingdom made of wax in it's center. Ghost stories of an ancient evil laying dormant... now waking up. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello! Looking to stretch myself and finally start a new table with a homebrew I've been putting together for a few years. Looking for players that are in a similar timezone (PST). I'm also a parent, so would be looking for evening sessions after kiddos are asleep (~7pm PST). The world's lore is loosely inspired by Jim Butcher's Codex Alera series, mashed together with Faerun. Familiarity with source material is not required or expected at all. Lore will be provided on this world, and the unique elemental powers ALL characters will have access to... With this world, there will be some restrictions on the Player Characters. All playable characters at this time will be Humans. Most classes are workable, though the system really lends itself to Martials/Half-Casters. I would highly recommend using one of those. I'm not a major Rules Lawyer, big believer in Rule-of-Cool and being adaptable. Improvising and leaning into the roleplay is where the magic happens. There will challenging, purposeful combat but not a meat-grinder style of a campaign. Getting the right dynamic is very important to me, so will definitely be intentional. Would also love some diversity (both in character and out of character) at the table. If this sounds interesting, please reach back out! Would be happy to discuss further and share more info on the lore to make sure it's a good fit. Regardless, best of luck to you on finding the right table. :) Cheers, Windy

Premise In the city of Archester, there has always been strange things hiding behind the mist of every corner in the city. However this time, the horror hides just by the outskirts of the city... an unsuspecting rundown motel that looks just like any of the other buildings in the outskirts that are unfortunately not important enough to be maintain by the City's governor or other major private developers. Legend has it that some of the guests that checked into the motel were never seen again... or stories of a cult living inside of the motel have also been heard... And the strangest thing is that just like any other rumour, this very motel seems to have been popping up at different corners of the city... Would you be daring enough to find out the truth of this urban legend? Yawning Portal into Homebrew Adventure

Homebrew
House rules, a custom setting, or a system the Game Master wrote themselves.
Newbie friendly
New players are welcome, and nobody expects you to know the rules beforehand.
Howdy! We have a Friday evening D&D game that is looking for at least one player, but preferably two or even three to fill out gaps in the group. We are currently level eight and going through the book Tales from the Yawning Portal. The primary DM is setting the story in his own world and making the appropriate changes to the stories and encounters within. I, the co-DM, only help with balancing encounters, story hooks and paint most of the minis that are used in the game. The plan is to get through the book and the optional level twenty encounter at the end with the players learning about his homebrew world as they progress. Then at the end, launch into a potentially longer, fully homebrew adventure set in his world. Most things are allowed from 2014 fifth edition, minus some things that simply wouldn't make sense in the world (Warforged, some Planescape stuff, a small handful of spells, the modern equipment in the DMG, etc.). We do however use some third party resources to fill in gaps and plenty of homebrew and Unearth Arcana rules as well. I cannot justly describe his world, but it is inspired by Final Fantasy XIV, some of the earlier Tales game, and has achieved steampunk and early 1900s-era levels of technology that works in tandem with magic. It still has plenty of high fantasy tropes and stories, but can also be more gritty and low fantasy just as easily in parts. We try to have some of each and have them flow together in a balanced way. The game will be held on Fridays starting at 6:00PM EST, hosted at a game shop we both use. The game uses physical miniatures and roll out battle mats, but online character creation (most players use Dndbeyond, but it is not required so long as we can access and view player sheets). Everyone at the table is late twenties to early thirties, nerds who like fantasy and sci-fi, can get a bit loud but try to be friendly, and love collecting new, shiny dice as often as we can and showing off the best ones. We try not to discuss real life topics at the game and would welcome anyone to our table as long as they're there to play a game and have fun.

Hello, hello, hello. With everything that is happening, I have been looking forward to the new Dungeon Crawler Carl TTRPG, and I have been making my preparations for the upcoming release, especially since I have early access to the PDF of the book. Now, that being said, I have three players, two who are going to be around consistently, and one who can only participate occasionally. Since the count is around that, I am looking for two or three more players who are willing or eager to participate in a game, where we will have a Discord and communicate on weekly games there. If you are familiar with Dungeon Crawler Carl, then you would understand why the monotony of tags, but let it be known that very many things can happen in the World Dungeon. I'm realizing that I forgot to upload a schedule when I first posted, but I'd let it be known to those who are interested that the game would take place on Fridays at 7 P.M. EST.

We still have an opening. Every other Sunday starting on the 6-9pm Pacific time. We are just starting Eve of Ruin over Discord and Fantasy Grounds. We use 2014 5e rules with Xanathar's and Tasha's guides. I do add in a bit of homebrew to expand and balance the best I can. Our group is 35+ Adults. Welcoming and friendly. We enjoy the combat bits with a bit of problem solving aspects. We have a Ranger, Warlock, and Fighter right now. Trying to recruit a couple more. I've been DM'n for about 2 years now. I have been interested most of my life and play in another group as a player. I'm open to ideas and try and say 'yes' or 'We can try' rather then shutting down ideas as long as they are reasonable. I am more a rules lawyer then Role-playing but I'm trying to be better at the talking bits.

robloxia: the tales of time

Homebrew
House rules, a custom setting, or a system the Game Master wrote themselves.
Newbie friendly
New players are welcome, and nobody expects you to know the rules beforehand.
A mysterious catastrophe has scattered the 50 Weapons of Calamity across Robloxia. Each relic was forged long ago upon the legendary Heights, each carrying incredible power—and a dangerous cost. Left unchecked, these weapons could reshape kingdoms… or destroy them. You are not a legendary hero. You’re an ordinary Robloxian who has become mysteriously connected to figures from Robloxia’s ancient past. That connection grants you just enough willpower to wield the Calamity Weapons without immediately falling victim to their corrupting influence—but every relic still tests the resolve of its wielder. Guided by the admin Shedletsky, you’ll journey through a world inspired by classic Roblox, exploring jungles, frozen sanctuaries, ancient kingdoms, haunted mansions, forgotten temples, underwater civilizations, and places that should never have existed. Every chapter centers around recovering a unique relic while uncovering the history of the guardian who once wielded it and the hope they left behind. But you’re not the only one searching. Someone is always one step ahead. Wherever you arrive, traces of another relic hunter remain: repaired bridges, abandoned camps, cryptic notes, impossible acts of mercy, and stories from those who crossed their path. Some call them a thief. Others claim they’re a savior. No one can agree on why they’re collecting the relics—or what they’re trying to prevent. Your choices matter. Kingdoms can be saved or abandoned. Guardians can be redeemed or lost. Entire chapters change depending on the decisions your party makes, and the consequences of those choices echo throughout the campaign. Robloxia: the tales of time is a story-driven D&D campaign focused on exploration, memorable boss fights, powerful legendary relics, difficult moral decisions, and uncovering one of Robloxia’s greatest mysteries. Sometimes, saving the world isn’t about becoming stronger. Sometimes… …it’s about giving people a reason to keep hoping. "im sorry... if it means that this world can go on... then I'll see it through."

Homebrew
House rules, a custom setting, or a system the Game Master wrote themselves.
Playtest
The game is still being tested, and your feedback is part of the point.
Where: Discord/Roll20 Seattle. 2073. You are a group of experienced shadowrunners who have made a name for yourselves in this corrupt city. For those who can afford it, you have already tipped the scales in local affairs a few times now. Your list of allies and enemies grows by the month. A Mr. Johnson who works for Ares Macrotechnology's local R&D department has approached you for a job. He wants his boss's position, and he needs your help doing it. The job? Infiltrate one of the AAA megacorp's testing facilities in the Cascade Mountains, steal the sole existing blueprints for a new weapon, escape, and turn them in to Mr. Johnson. Then he will play the hero once he produces the blueprints a week later, making his boss look massively incompetent in the process. It's a simple job. In and out. What could go wrong? -- This Shadowrun game presents a more streamlined version of the 4e rules to retain all the tactics, equipment, and buckets of dice that you've come to love. But at the same time, it's leaner and faster (and also less broken). If you wish to know more, the full rules are available here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1yyMJ9Xmd7rTAlt_0VMhCrAM1RgVQj6JiHhzABUqLEaE/edit?usp=sharing Rules will be taught in media res, though some SR experience is a plus. We will play for 60-90 minutes, take a 10-15 minute break once you make your plan, and then finish the rest of the 4-hour session. This is a one-shot playtest for a game I'll be running at a convention in a few weeks. Be aware that the rules are still in alpha, so there could be some roughness. But I assure you that these rules are still a lot smoother than the official ones. If you ever wanted to play Shadowrun but were put off by the official rules, this game is for you! If you're interested in playing, please apply here. We're still looking for a couple more players.

Looking for people for ttrpg game of Only war converted for TC. Hello, for a while i has been hooked on the world of Trench Crusade and i wanted to do something with it but i quickly dropped d&d as it doesnt feel right for it, so i ended up with Only War system of Warhammer 40k for it. Game is of course using the system of the Only war but weapon, units, armors and magic are remade to be Trench Crusade like, as well allowing custom make for your own warband origin too. Story is very much custom made by me but taking a lot of lore into mind when creating with multiple places to start in and even ability to choose to play as a good or bad guy for the campaign (vote by players and decide if we play Hell or Heaven side) as well as many custom classes and other character creations to go with the theme of Trench Crusade and be less Warhammer 40k. Story time: You are a collection of soldiers or fanatics who join the great war with a vision of a Purple Sun in your dream, a distant, cold and yet still close, close enough to remember and have the image in mind. Something is calling you, now it depends, is it good or a bad thing ? You will delve deep into what this strange and shared dream could mean and where it leads you, salvation or death awaits you. - System: Only war - You will control your character with a small group (1-2 npc) that follow you, - Day and hour of game: Mondays in 8 pm CEST+1 and generally going for 3-4 hours - Newbies or fully new people to this system are welcomed as i can give you all the things you need to learn with few test games to get the feel for the dice system. - I as a DM have a about 8 years of D&D experience with about a 1 year of Only War experience. - I am not native English speaker so i may studder or loose words, beat me about it only a little 😆 - Don't be a skipper, i don't want people who do join and then skip 3/4 games the month. If your Monday's are unstable, don't join please, thank you. (No worry if you have random event that takes you away, its no problem if its not common thing) - looking for about 4 people top. - Using roll20 and discord - Ai pictures are fine by me as i use some too. - Sexual and gory stuff will be happening, not forced but the themes of lewdness might and gore is omnipresent in this setting.

Hello! Me and a friend had an idea to have a game where the entire party is true dragons, ganging up together for a specific reason or just neighbors who have territories next to each other. Rules for how we make true dragon characters can be discussed with the potential GM, though I do own the Dreamscarred Press Monster Class for Dragons, and have had true dragon PC's in my games before using the play as a monster rules. The idea is to really get to enjoy and play into the fantasy of being a dragon in a fantasy setting, be it Golarion or a homebrew world, and interacting with it from a different perspective than normal, and to hopefully feel like a epic dragon! As such in that regard, we’re looking for a GM to make this game come true. We are two, so if a DM is interested in a smaller group, or more as I have no issue with recruiting as many as you'd like! The timeslot is currently set on fridays anytime before 11 pm EDT. Platform can be anything you’d like. Just make a quick application if you're interested!

8:30pm EST to 11 pm - Ongoing PF1 campaign (with a few homebrew rules). Setting is custom (heavy on undead) and includes some content from Adventure Paths and some homebrew. Campaign has some "modern" firearms (PZO9072-6 The Witch Queens Revenge adventure path formining part of the current basis). Current characters are level 16. Plan is to continue through level 20. Currently have Fighter, Rogue/Mystic Archer/Alchemist, Ranger, Wizard & Inquisitor (some players playing two characters - not by choice). Looking for Wizard and Cleric or Inquisitor.  PC will start at level 16 with equipment subject to GM review. Map and rolls on Roll20 / Voice through Discord. Detailed world / campaign description available to those interested in joining. - Homebrew includes: Monsters are altered / hombrew so don't expect to find all stats in published material. Opponents may have more than 20 character levels (not legendary). Cure potions cheaper, and work on skin contact. Nat 20 auto success / Nat 1 auto failure on all checks - GM will refuse to allow a roll if the action is impossible. GM and some current players have been in this campaign since 2018. All current players are mature (late 40s to late 50s). Some are ex-military and “dark humor” is not uncommon. LGBTQ freindly, but no graphic sexual of any type (all that is "fade to black").

Laws, society, magic, none of that exists yet, or if it does you've never heard of such a thing. You are simply a nomadic hunter or a gatherer, that has just always been the only way to live. Maybe you used to travel in a herd, but for one reason or another, you are no longer with such group. You each manage to stumble upon a group of people who seemed to be content staying in one place, with permanent shelters, a system of telling each other what to do, and some kind of new concept where you can make your own food, which they call "Fameng", where you don't have to hunt or gather for anything, the food just grows out of the ground over time. As you are slowly accepted into this non-nomads, it very quickly becomes clear that their society stems from a strange bright red flower called "fa'ler". Fa'ler can bring harm to those who touch it, but they have found a way to use it to build and maintain their entire way of life. However, they haven't quite figured out where it came from, and while they've kept it burning for many days and many nights, it has started to shrink and die down. Soon it will be gone, and these people will completely lose their fundamental existence and starve. Having spent much longer as traditional nomads, you are the only ones truly fit to embark on a long journey to find the knowledge to bring back the fa'ler. You know that many days ago, a person appeared who could make the fa'ler just appear out of thin air with just a thought; they taught the people of this place what it can do and made it for them, although they didn't their methods or process, but it involved something they called "najeek". Now you have to venture out to find some way to learn about other Fa'ler or najeek and save this unconventional, but innocent people.

It’s bright and sunny 2010 and New York has turned into a real shit hole. Crime has gotten really out of hand, and it’s affecting a lot of people. You might have the desire to do something about it; unfortunately, you’re not the best equipped to do so. There were a few people once with incredible abilities that transcended natural law that used their powers to help people, but they’re not here anymore, and you’re not exactly super yourself. However, you’re quite young (maybe not even a full adult), and as you’ve just found out, anyone can become super, with the right knowledge and training you can become a living weapon and unlock within yourself the abilities to fend off the forces of evil, through science and even magical techniques. You’ve just met two interesting and mysterious figures. One of whom is a former superhero (although he hates that word), who seems insistent that you shouldn’t be doing or wanting this; a kid like you shouldn’t be putting themselves in danger or trying to fix the world themselves. However, the other, an even more mysterious old man, seems very eager to train you to fight, claiming he needs “soldiers” for “the big war”, although he’s not too keen on elaborating when you ask him about that. It seems clear that one of these two figures can give you the keys to eventually fight back and stop the scum of New York from swallowing up the city that you call home. Even if it means putting yourself at risk, you have to try. Based on the old man’s implications, it seems like organized crime is going to look like a summer picnic compared to what’s on the way, and the secret puppet masters pulling the strings on all of it are spreading their grip by the second, unless somebody does something about it.

Newbie friendly
New players are welcome, and nobody expects you to know the rules beforehand.
Hey everyone! I'm looking to put together a group for The Aetherial Expanse, which I'll be running through Foundry VTT using The Forge. I'm a new DM, and part of the reason I'm putting this group together is because I want to actually get some experience behind the screen, experiment with different ways of running the game, and get feedback from my players as I improve. A little about my DM style: roleplaying and character voices are definitely not my strongest area yet. I'm still getting comfortable portraying NPCs and improvising conversations. Where I do put a lot of effort is into maps, environments, visuals, and giving players things they can actually see and interact with. I really enjoy making detailed VTT maps and building out locations for the party to explore. I'm looking for players who don't mind having a newer DM and are willing to be patient while I learn. Constructive feedback is absolutely welcome. I'd like this to be a group where everyone can have fun, learn each other's playstyles, and build a campaign together rather than expecting everything to be perfect from session one.

Conversation, character and story take up most of the table time.
A ragtag band of locals find themselves embroiled in a strange adventure involving an unhinged warforged, a psychotic docent, and a plot seemingly involving a nefarious branch of House Cannith. One of those you've been roped in with attached the docent to himself and now hears voices, but has started displaying extra abilities. Your mentor, the unhinged warforged named Trace 7, has disappeared, but she left you with a mission to find a way into a secret facility in the underbelly of Sharn to discover the secrets of this organization. Can you find your way in and discover what House Cannith is up to? This game uses the Pathfinder for Savage Worlds Ruleset and Kristian Serrano's Eberron for Savage Worlds adaptation hosted on the Fantasy Grounds VTT, which is now free to play. All resources will be supplied upon acceptance. This is an ongoing campaign with five players currently. I'll accept up to one more. We play on the last Sunday of the month at 18:00 Eastern Time (Currently UTC-4).

Hello there! My name is Slum! (He/Him) I am currently working on a TTRPG system for emulating Dark Souls & Elden Ring combat. The primary concept is centered around enemies having set attack patterns that players need to read, as well as manage your Stamina! And for the playtest, Player Characters are gonna be fighting Starscourge Radahn! If the combat for my System works out well, then I hope to add more mechanics, like poise and ailments. I'm ideally looking for this Friday, 6:30 PM CST, but I can move it around if needed! It's also planned to be VC'd on my personal Discord server! If you're interested, DM me, and we can discuss details!
