I've been gaming since the early 80s. I suck at bios. I have played a bazillion games, and am willing to learn new systems. I prefer long term campaigns, with focus on roleplay and character development. I haven't listed all games I've played/own, because there's far too many.

Hi folks. My name is Frank from germany and I am born in 1978. I started playing TTRPGs in the late 80s/early 90s (don't remember exactly) and had a hiatus between 2008 and 2016. In the early and mid 2000s I participated in the organization for a local convention of the german TTRPG Midgard. Most of my life I was the GM and to be honest I really liked it (probably more than beeing a player). At the moment I play in 2 local monthly goups (no GMing). I am not sure if I have to quit one of the groups I am currently playing in because I really dislike the system we are playing (Warhammer Fantasy 4E) and the group is not willing to change that in the near future. Besides of that I am more than curious to try out online gaming although I never did before. So please be patient with me. Old man incoming ;-) Today I enjoy OSR-games the most (Fantasy, SciFi and all other genres). The simplicity of it is just something I really embrace. I dislike extensive backstories for my PCs. I am convinced that it is more natural to build their personality as I play. I don't need characters that have already achieved everything in their backstories. Besides of that I am a gamer not a novelist ;-) I like my characters to go down in a big blow. They should not die of old age. The most memorable PCs I had are all dead :-) The worst thing that could happen to me as a player is if I recognize that the GM cheats just to safe me from certain death. DON'T DO THAT ;-) As a GM I roll openly and take the results as they roll. I don't balance encounters but I consider myself "fair" in regards of worldbuilding and player choices. I like when players don't optimize and just play without searching the solution on their character sheet. I will kill your character if they make bad choices or if fate demands it. I am not into voice acting or such things and I hate it to waste precious game time on playing out every-day-life of characters. The tavern evening with just talking, the 2 hour shopping tour with the local merchants, the chillout session in the public bath I've seen it all and I hated every single minute of it. Bring on the action, the adventure, thats the reason I play. As you may have noticed english is not my mothertounge. Especially my spoken english is probably not the best. But I think I could manage to be in an english speaking group. At least I would try it. I would love to find a group where I could try out online gaming as a player. I think I would not start online gaming as a GM right away but would love to evolve into that. I really don't care how to play online: VTT, Discord, Teams whatever. I really don't care at this point in time.

We’ve designed a tabletop RPG called Prosperon: A Bio‑Cyberpunk RPG, and we’re actively looking for more playtesters. If that interests you, shoot me a message and we’ll make it happen. Old-timer who enjoys collaborative character-driven narratives! Preference I love long theatrical games with small groups of three or four where trust replaces the need for contraints. Where the focus is collaborating on building a story, developing characters, navigating social intrigue, diving into schemes and just having fun being creative together. Where the world and the cast is believable and relatable to some degree. I might lean towards the more serious, dark and dystopian games but I absolutely enjoy the occasional organic comedy, absurd situations and lots memes on the side. As a contrast, my least favourite games are those with large groups that's all about combat, optimising, winning and doing progression in a strict system. I prefer when everyone is on cam and I'm used to playing bi-weekly games of 3-4 hours. It's a good fit for me but I am not married to it. Playstyle I like to describe my character's actions in third person, speak as them and take some liberty to describe negligible parts of a scene when it involves my character. I like to stay in-character as much as possible and acting along a little bit on camera but I can adjust to most ways of playing. I'm very aware of the meta layer in games, all the unspoken information that goes on behind the scenes that can help setup spotlights and great moments, not just for my own character but for everyone at the table. I love setting other players up to shine and being as inclusive about the group as possible. I don't like when someone wanders off or doesn't get any spotlight. Also a big fan of lines and veils, and handling friction constructively post-session. Experience I've been into roleplaying games since the turn of the millenia where my curiosity was initially sparked by AD&D and Black Isles videogames. Since then I've played dozens of systems and spent possibly thousands of hours at the table as both player and gamemaster but I've put a pause on running games in recent years until my health is better. I've been into all the crunch of D&D and Pathfinder, the more deductive and psychological games like Delta Green, Eclipse Phase and the varities of World of Darkness, and lately I've been dabbling in more collaboration focused games like Blades in the Dark and The Wildsea. About me I'm in my forties and retired. I got a lot of free time which I'd like to spend more of on TTRPGs. It gives me a lot of flexibility for game sessions and I'm happy to spend time on all the practical stuff around games as well to take some of the load off what usually falls on the gamemaster. I've been told I can be a little intense up front since I'm not the shy type and I can get passionate about games, but once people get to know me, they often find me pretty easy going. Aside from that, I should mention that I've suffered some damage to the cartilage around my throat that can make my voice strain during long sessions. Online Setup Stationary computer at a desk with a decent camera and headset, a stable internet connection, an extra cam (DroidCam+OBS) for peripherals if needed, and I got the entire place to myself, so hopefully no interruptions. Previous experience using Discord, roll20, Foundry VTT, Google Docs and Notion as online tools for games. Give me a poke if you think I'd be a good fit for your game! Well met, stranger. I'm hiddenson. I've played different rpgs since the 90's, mostly as GM. I prefer GMing because I love world building and long-term campaigns. I revel in many layered plots that peel like a bag of onions, tuning preset worlds to my signature flavor of horror and hardcore mechanics. My style is deeply immersive, roleplay heavy, and Rule of Cool. I prefer acting in the first person with people who invest creativity in their characters. At the moment, I'd like to focus on horror games and Cyberpunk. I'd love to play other settings of the World of Darkness. I have extensive experience in Call of Cthulhu in the 1920's as well as in Cyberpunk 2020 so I'll adapt to new editions easily. Lastly, I have little to no experience in the other titles, but I'm eager to try them out. I lean into characters hungry for lore rather than riches. Think erudite professors risking their sanity in eldritch tomes, or tomb raiding archaeologists uncovering more than they bargained for. I recently launched a paid Vampire: The Masquerade Chronicle, so I'm willing to trade seats if our playstyles and game list match. Hey hoping to be a player in a ttrpg game I've 13 years experience playing on and off mostly GMing but would like to play more used to play pathfinder 1st edition back in the day played some 5e but most comfortable with shadowdark and osr but happy to learn any system for one shots or campaigns

Forever GM here looking to become a player. I would like to play a game that is roleplay and combat focused. I prefer mysteries and dark tones, so an Age of Umbra Daggerheart, Alien or Vaesen game works for me. Brindlewood Bay also hits my liking (it is not an option on the list). I have a lot of experience with Daggerheart if you need someone to also bounce ideas off of. Intermiediate experience with Vaesen and only played the Starter Set of Alien. I would love to try Brindlewood Bay (or any other mystery/detective system). Sunday, Tuesdays and Wendesdays are out of the question as they are my days that are always full, but I have flexible days other days. I am a travel photographer who has turned to a corporate portrait photographer. I love telling stories of people and places. I like taking that story telling to my table.

I am a Transgender Woman, and I tend to enjoy adventure-focused scenarios where the cozy elements are contextual rather than every session being focused on the mundane. Veteran ttrpg player in his 40s, German but living in Poland (I don't think I can play or gm in Polish though) I am mostly interested in OSR-style games, often with a more simulationist bend, but I am willing to get into other genres/styles of play. I GM an active and regular Labyrinth Lord (OSR) Westmarches style open table game over discord, and also co-GM a Shadowrun3 campaign. I gearing up to restart a Traveller campaign, set up a play-by-post En Garde game, and am dabbling with a few others. I do play in a few other games which are unfortunately a bit less frequent as I would like. (I don't actually like Warhammer, WFRPG, or the Forgotten Realms all that much, I know that's a bit of a problem in Poland...)

Hi I live in Gran kommune, one hour north of Oslo in Norway. I have been playing and GMing since the 1980s. I believe that i am a suportive player. I some times struggle with atttention, so I prefere shorter sessions, especially online. My GM style is balanced, but with a tendencie for "Action bias". I am not strong on "tactical combat" and optimal character-builds, and prefere creativity, rulings over rules and theater of the mind. (Even thogh I own four 3d printers and to much terrain and miniatures :) ) I prefere to run scenarioes and campeigns with some investigation, exploration and mystery over classic dungeon crawls.

Hi everyone! I'm a literature and RPG nerd who works as a teacher during the day and studies history and Nordic languages on the side. I have a small makerspace at home where my 3D printers hum along daily. As an arts and crafts teacher, I make a lot of different things day-to-day and always try to stay creative. I've DM'ed for a few years, but got a bit burned out on it, so we'll see if I run a game again sometime in the future. Right now, I'd really just love to be a player if anyone needs one. If locally, I have a space right above Outland, hundreds of minis (though not that many are painted), and terrain if anyone needs it. Online, I am fairly used to using Owlbear Rodeo and Foundry VTT. Hello! My name is Kit, they/them pronouns; I'm a 38-year-old TTRPG enthusiast looking to branch out and get to play some games other than D&D for a change! I've been roleplaying for about 20 years, and while I'm brand new to some of the games I'm looking for, I've gotten be in a few Monster of the Week games over the past few years. I'd always love to play more of that, as well as some of the lesser-known, harder-to-find stuff out there! And also Call of Cthulhu. Call of Cthulhu is pretty good too. :D I'm more into the role-playing parts than the roll-playing parts, but I love some good dice rolls making things higher-stakes and tense, too. I love to make fun characters (which are not always optimized and who do not always make the optimal choices!), and I looove character interactions between PCs and being a huge fan of my fellow players' characters! Right now I'm especially excited for Vaesen and Kult: Divinity Lost; if you're looking to play those, too -- or MOTW, I'm seriously always looking for that -- feel free to reach out and get in touch!
