I'm Nick, I'm a 32yo male/AMAB non-binary person, with a few years of experience playing D&D 3.5, D&D 5.0, and CoC 7th. I'm a little burnt out on those (mostly D&D/high fantasy) so I'd prefer to play a different system, but I'm not against those systems if the campaign is appealing enough. I'm open-minded, intelligent, and a quick learner so picking up new systems is pretty easy for me. The systems that appeal to me the most right now are Mutants & Masterminds, Cyberpunk, Mothership, Kult, Unknown Armies, any World/Chronicles of Darkness system, or any obscure or homebrew horror system (any setting with heavy horror). My ideal group would consist of people around my age but I'll play with anyone 18+. I'm friendly and get along with pretty much everyone, and have thick skin so I don't mind banter, darker themes, or adult content. LGBTQIA+ friendly (obviously lol), female friendly, POC friendly. I'm also not going to get too antsy if we get a little derailed from play sometimes, especially with goofier groups, but I love serious play just as much. Currently looking to play weekly on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday, during evenings/nights. Saturdays are undesirable at the moment but if I really love the campaign idea I can make the time for it. I can't play Tuesday afternoons and both Wednesday and Sunday are off limits at the moment. Long term campaigns are ideal. I'm a pretty dedicated player, I rarely miss sessions. Any VTT is fine (I love Foundry), theater of the mind is also fine. I'm not a big fan of Roll20 but I'll use it if I have to lol. I have and use Discord regularly. I also would pefer not to be on cam, but I do have a webcam. However I do not want to be recorded and posted on the public internet so skip me if you're running on a stream, youtube recording, podcast, etc. Recordings for private note-taking purposes are okay but do not post them online publicly. I love creating characters (especially flawed characters) so I usually have several character ideas for multiple systems either ready-to-play or brewing, even for systems I've ever played (such as M&M 3e, Unknown Armies, Kult, etc). I'm flexible enough to stick with RAW or go full homebrew, I will always work with the DM to ensure that my character is suitable for their campaign, especially if we dive into heavy homebrew. I generally prefer not to min/max but I'm not against it, I just find flawed characters (mechanical and flavor) to be far more interesting and fun to play. I don't meta game, backseat game, rules lawyer, and I don't have main character syndrome (if anything I'm a little shy of the limelight). I can also handle bad outcomes and character death, I believe that's just part of the storytelling aspect of TTRPGs. I love roleplay, combat, exploration, puzzle solving, pretty much every aspect of TTRPGs so I'm generally comfortable with any ratio. I also sometimes to photo-manipulation/digital collage art, drawn art (digital and traditional), etc for my character, other characters, campaigns, but I'm not very good at it (yet). Usually this is for comedic effect or out of necessity. I also do art and writing outside of TTRPG play. Not interested in play-by-post or paid games, sorry.

I am interested in playing with a group that challenges my role playing skills. Mystery and puzzles always the better. Depending on the game, I could play power hungry, but not in abuse of game rules, in the literal sense. A wizard looking for immortality, a sorcerer looking to become an actual dragon, a fighter looking to master the blade. I am very open however to playing a character to help a DM push a plotline. For example, a Warforged left without a memory, to be filled in later. A Warlock who just wants to find out what happened to his brother, who got wrapped up in some story the DM decides.

Hello! I have always really, really wanted to play a role play game like Dungeons & Dragons, but I've never truly gotten the chance. I really want to role play, battle, be a character who isn't just a self insert, experience a fantasy world that isn't just a modern progressive society with magic, sexy short stack goblins, and bards who seduce their way out of a dragon boss fight. Years ago, I played a couple sessions with a group I found online, but it, uh... Wasn't a good match for me ._. I'm looking to play something akin to a more classic fantasy setting. Think a paper back fantasy novel cover, with badass wizards and knights and dragons! I'm flexible on the details, though. Just nothing too quirk chungus lol. I also don't mind which version of Dungeons & Dragons it is. I'd be willing to learn anything! I do need to learn, though, as I am a beginner. I take intricate notes in-character and like to keep track of how things are going. Lore and storytelling are the greatest rewards, not magical loot! I am also a very easygoing and laid-back player. As a GM, I am also willing to help other players learn the system/game if I can, and I am more than happy to play a background role to let others do their thing. I love TTRPGs. Fantasy or Sci-Fi, campy or serious, investigative or hack-n-slash. I'm in my mid-fifties, roled my first dice in the 70's, and have been engaged in gaming on and off since. I have run stories and campaigns, but I don't have the time to plan and organize for a group right now. Being a white middle-aged male, he/him is fine, I am aware of the baggage that comes with that and am on a life adventure to find acceptance for me through accepting others for their identities and histories. I have played Advanced DnD, 2nd, 3rd, 3.5 and 5th edition, along with supplementals from other publishers for DnD like Fantasy Flight. I have played Rifts, Shadowrun, Cyberpunk, Vampire the Masquerade, Pathfinder 1e, Star Wars (multiple versions), Starfinder, and I'm sure I'ver forgotten some games over the years. I suppose a short campaign is a good place to start, if the group is solid and works well then committing to something longer seems like a natural progession.

I'm most familar with DnD and DnD-related gameplay, but wouldn't mind learning other TTRPGs. I would love to join a group that is patient and willing to help me learn the game. I love to explore other systems, as well, and have played more than my fair share of the White Wolf systems (especially, Vampire), The Mistborn Adventure Game and now the Cosmere RPG, Call of Cthulu, and the unofficial Pokemon TTRPGs (Pokemon: Tabletop United and Pokemon: Tabletop Adventures). I've stuck my nose in many others systems such as various GURPS and PbtA systems, Blades in the Dark, and many more large and small games. I haven't picked up a systems that I've been truly unfamiliar with in over a decade. My experience is a spectacular mix of in-person plays with local friends and congoers as well as remote plays via VTTs such as Roll20 and Foundry and Play-by-Post campaigns with online friends and strangers alike. I'm familiar with tools of all varieties and flexible enough to pick up all the new ones as they ship out. I'm always trying to find the right combination for me and my table. I want to add that professionally, my background is in both education and counseling and that you can be comfortable in knowing that I am a well-organized person with both the patience and skills to deescalate and find common ground. I enjoy dark/serious topics as much as a story of our characters basically dicking around. I prefer campaigns that are on the medium/longer side. I'm a 21yo artist and ex-theatre kid who is also a nerd! not a shocking combo I know, but this is relevant to the fact that I am a roleplay, story and heavy envestment type player and DM. I have been playing 5e and 5.5e for about two years now both as a player and while in the DM's chair; a role I love, but I would also like to see the other side of the screen sometimes... that's why I'm hoping to find a group! People I can DM for if wanted, but where I can also get to play my own blorbos at times. My primary skills in improv and character writing are what I think stands out about me personally-- I may not be the sharpest tool in the shed, but you can rely on me to fill sliences and start in-character conversations. oh yeah I also draw a bit so letting me into your group may have the side effect of getting silly moments from sessions drawn lol. I'm looking for a roleplay centered group. I'm pretty flexible in terms of game themes, though you may have to sell me on certain genres of horror. Flags/lines in terms of content are pretty open as well-- message me for a copy of my full content consent sheet. While I am currently DMing a campaign on Wednesday nights, I am free most other evenings and some mornings/afternoons. I may also be able to provide a place to play depending on the time and day.

You've heard it before: eternal DM wants to finally get a chance to be a player and has a million and one character ideas up their sleeve to do so. I love 5e (2014 and 2024 versions are both fine) and have been itching to get back into it now that I've managed to get some more free-time in my schedule. I'm very familiar with the rules and most source material, enjoy a good homebrew or modules (no preference), and have equal experience/interest in RP and combat. I'm familiar with online play over Discord / Roll20 / D&DBeyond / etc. and am a quick learner so anything new is also not a problem. I'm located on the east coast (so est/edt), am in my 30s and am primarily available all day Mondays and Tuesdays, but can make other days/times work depending on what they are. Greetings all! I have been playing TTRPGs on and off for 25 years and although I am naturally more combat-focused, I have been wanting to improve my roleplaying skills a bit more. Not that I think I am awful at roleplay, but we all have room for improvement and that just feels like the skill I could do better in. I started out GM'ing and have been ran probably 60-75% of the campaigns I have been involved in, so I am very open to either a player or GM role. Right now I am just looking to have fun, so i am not looking to pay or be paid to play a game right now. Maybe if I have time in the future, I will start doing "professional" gamemastering, but as of right now I am just looking for a group to have fun with and build a mutually enjoyable world together. My timezone is MST and my available hours are typically after Early Afternoon MST (think after 1pm MST) I'm Bi and Trans, just to get that out up front. I consider myself an immersion-first kind of player, I like to make my decisions in character with the same thought process my characters would if possible. Not to say that I'm not "above" superceding my characters' "own" decision if needed, but that's how I like to play when convenient. I'm also a forever DM, and I have experience teaching new DMs, the hard part is just getting them to commit to taking up the mantle. I tend to like to play as characters that I've conceptualized beforehand, but deliberately make a bit hollow initially so that I can customize them to better fit within any campaign I might find myself joining.

I've played D&D off & on for years, but I still feel very new to the game, especially as online part of it goes. I'm only so-so with role-playing, I'm more of a 'my character does/says' kind of guy than accents or garb. Though I have done other tricks like use mannerisms of my character so I keep 'in character'. I'm looking to play long term games. I prefer modules over heavy homebrewing, but a bit of it is pretty much always necessary, right... Even as I say that, there are three stories that I'd love to find a group to play with through them, as a character: Phandelver to Wildspace (just play thru modules from 0-Spelljammer), TMNTortles of Ravnica (self explanatory & probably heavily DM brewed), & Uprising in Undermountain... they all vary in brew necessity, but the latter one is a big goal I hope to achieve... a full run through current Undermountain, from the inside out as monstrous people trying to make things a little less wrong, while using the setting that is D&D's largest (afaik) dungeon, & it even has a couple dragons in it. Hi! All told, I only have about a year of experience playing and GMing, and it's been a looong time, so I'm sure I'm quite rusty. My time zone is CST and my schedule is open. I have no strong preferences when it comes to frequency of sessions, system, or setting. Back when my friends and I actively played, I mostly GMed, using DnD 3.0/3.5, with a little Spycraft on the side. Even though that was years ago, I've never stopped thinking about RPGs, listening to actual play podcasts like The Adventure Zone and Acquisitions, Inc., reading random supplements and forum posts, and playing video games based on tabletop systems/adventures. I love backstory, lore, and worldbuilding and enjoy combat and dungeoncrawling, too. I remember my very first RPG session, when I was a kid, immediately opened my eyes to the creativity and improvisation that the format allows. All I'd done in our first battle was ready my weapon and lightly wound an unlucky bandit... while the far more experienced players of the group spent their first few turns positioning themselves technically, slinging buffs and debuffs, and throwing a tarp over the intimidating-as-hell bandit leader and then setting it ablaze with a torch. I was astounded; I knew I had to have more. The Discworld and Hitchhiker's Guide series of books are dear to me, though I'm down for nearly any fantastical story and setting (much like Pratchett and Adams themselves). Potentially relevant-to-tabletop video game series I've enjoyed are The Witcher, Knights of the Old Republic, Fallout, Mass Effect, Dragon Age, The Elder Scrolls, Divinity, Baldur's Gate, Final Fantasy, World of Warcraft, Legend of Grimrock, and many more. I like to let other players choose their specializations first, so I can try to fill any gaps we have, then build the character's background and motivation from there. That way, everyone who really wants to play a specific role is happy and the group as a whole is well-rounded. Plus, it's just fun to mix things up from game to game, so I've never really had a favorite class, though I do enjoy playing support (gotta have a healer/medic!). If you have the patience to help me shake off the rust and adapt to your setting and system, I'll do as much or as little reading, roleplaying, and rolling as you need. Ugh, this is really starting to sound like a sales pitch, ha ha... sorry. I'll finish by simply saying that I'm excited to meet you and see what adventures you've got brewing!

Hi, my name is Gideon (32; They/them). I am looking to join a campaign with a LGBTQ+ friendly group of adults Monday-Friday after 5pm or Saturday/Sunday after 6pm EST since I work two jobs. I have played 5e, Pathfinder 1 and 2, and 3.5e, but open to trying new systems and homebrew. Still somewhat of a novice, but not entirely new. I love making all sorts of characters and contributing to a group. I am not going to make the "lone wolf", hostile, or murderhobo characters. I will pull my weight during combat, in RP, and the campaign story. I do love combat, but also love RP and I think they are both important to TTRPGs. I want the story as much as the numbers! I am okay with modules or homebrew. A long-term campaign would be the best but I am down for shorter ones as well. As for RP style, I am still struggling with accents beyond a few very bad ones (lol). I am autistic so I know I can sometimes be a little flat-toned, and I am working on watching videos for how to improve my library of accents! I enjoy learning about other's characters/stories, as well as the lore/story of the DM's world. I want a party that can be serious or silly but wants to tell a story together with the DM. I would love to get invested in characters and campaign. I want to build relationships with other player's characters and honor the effort they made in creating them, even if said character is Mr. Noodle's the Lizard who speaks only in puns. Happy to be in a campaign with romance (consensual) or without. I am more than happy with detailed worlds and involved/complex plots. I am a lover of Dune (books and films), The Expanse (books and series), Lord of the Rings (books and films), Poppy War, Red Rising, Arrows of the Queen, and others. I do not get inebriated at the tables and never have, so if that is something other players or you as a DM worry about or have dealt with, you won't with me. I am also an artist and love to doodle for campaigns. I have a Discord and working mic/camera. I am a note-taker and pay attention. So if you are a DM that wants a player who will pick up on subplots and details, I am for you! I do have experience with D&D Beyond as well as Owlbear. Reservation: I don't have any major phobias that need to be avoided but I won't do SA of a character. I am understanding of it being part of a backstory or world (off-screen) or if it has been discussed/agreed on between victim's player and DM yet even then only off-screen/stage.
